My sister left this morning and she was acting normal. well as normal as my family ever gets. So I guess she is not going to say anything. I don't know, maybe she did not want to bring it up with others near by. I'll just have to play it by ear.

I want to thank everyone for their support. I really appriciate it and I really needed it. So again, THANK YOU!!!

Safe Until

You come home one day and find all the key family members there for an INTERVENTION !
=) sorry, could not resist.
I wonder if that has ever happened to any of us?
My older sister actually looked into having me comitted, I'm sure she had good intentions after all me changing my sex would be so inconvenient for her. I was just fine but she was sure anyone who would do this was nuts (going to be an embarassment to the family) and might harm themselves (having surgery was going to be an embarassment to the family), you can see how this goes. Its a relief that we have not spoken in 18 years.
So don't worry, life goes on, just different.

Your sister.

could possibly be on the site checking it out no later than
tonight, if she actually looked at anything. I've been
accused of looking at porn, and even a wikipedia addict!
I really think it's most likely that she saw it briefly,
but didn't register and connections to what it was..

I still wish you good luck though.

I sent a couple of stories to my two oldest sisters. My eldest
sister loved it, but the idea that children would feel that way
and be too afraid to tell anyone made her cry. My second oldest
sister, the Church-lady, told me it was good, but I should put lots
of sex in it, and sell them as romance novels!

The only problem I had, was when I showed that little picture
of me around work! My wife didn't appreciate it, but I did have
one other woman tell me that she ‘knew who she would ask for
makeup advice.’ Other than having everyone coming up and
asking “Hey, do you have that picture?,” it was pretty funny.

One time, I bought this Cosmo makeover program. (Hey! It was
in the bargain bin!) I took a picture of myself and played with it
for a day. The picture came out so good, that I put in on my desk
at work. For six months only my boss, and I knew who it was.
People would ask, ‘is that your wife?” “Well is it your sister.”
LOL. It was so funny. My boss, she was a dear friend, loved it.

The makeover program was dangerous though. There was a little
list that it spit out of the cosmetics used. My wife looked
at that and said "go for it." That turned into a $250 order
at an online store, The Beauty Jungle. So much for the Bargain
Bin! A few months later, my wife bought me a nice makeup case
for christmass, which my teenage daughter has raided to death.

LOL. Ah well, the good old days.

The point is Smorr, sometimes people do surprise you and
actually act like human beings.

Thats a riot

Sarah, that is really funny when winning and losing at the same time, the irony of you getting your own makeup kit to lose it all to your daughter. Thats the stuff that you will carry in your heart and make you smile the rest of your life.

Yes, it is. I keep telling

Yes, it is. I keep telling her to stay out of her dad's stuff, but she's got it about half
full!

One time when we were on vacation at my youngest sister's house, my daughter was about three.
She got into my sisters makeup! She's always been such a girly girl, and is so cute. Anyway
my sister was amazed when she gave her a tube of lipstick, and Victora just took it and put
it on with one swipe! Well My sister was laughing like anything because she did this perfect
job. All I could say to my sister was "I have no idea where she gets it from!" My wife spit
her tea on my sisters coffee table!

The best news is, however, that after having folks tell us that victoria's developmental problems
would not be somethnig she could overcome. It always killed me inside, because we have tried so
hard with her, and she's so good at some things like handling peer pressure. Everyone is amazed
that she is an incredibly hard worker. No matter how hard something was, she'd always just
sit there and work on it, doing her best. Every few months having them sit accross from us and
telling us she'd never be able to read... I can't describe the pain.

Well I should tell you, that in the last three days, she's read "Dragon Song", and "Dragon
Singer." By Anne McCaffrey; and, about half a book her mother gave her. She also got the highest
grade in history of anyone in her year in her highschool! The real capper, though was this.
The other day, I was writing, and my daughter came in to bug me. She told me that a few months
ago, she came in to use the comnputer, and noticed my story. She said that she hoped I didn't mind
but she had seen some mistakes that she fixed for me. She said that if I wanted, she'd be happy to
look at my story to fix it up for me!

I cry every time I think of it. It's amazing what you can get for a little makeup. Somehow, I've
never felt the need to lock the case... She is so sweet. I can't imagine where she gets that either!

LOL

Amazing what unconditional love

Will do to overcome all sorts of adversities. Sarah you are so fortunate to have that special love and acceptance between you and your daughter. Your real life experience rivals any sweet/sentimental story one could dream up.
