Okay, start again, there was one girl or is was it boy, one writer and two editor type peeps and together they produced the third edition of the second volume of the Gaby saga, Summer Girl. Well to be honest, that was the easy bit. Yesterday it was wet squared here so after some bicycle maintenance first thing I started the job of producing a publishable document out of the thousands of words and 12 hours work later, it was done.
You could be forgiven in thinking that it would be a simple job, take edited version, paste into new book ends et voila, a new tome is ready. Unfortunately, because I'd done just that in the past, this time around there was a lot of re-aligning, font changing and style upgrading to do, end result, a very long day and RSI in my typing arm (as some of you know, I type pretty much one fingered, I never did master two hands!). But its done now and tonight I've uploaded the new document to Kindle - please note, I will do the dead tree and Lulu versions of this and The Anime Days as my next part of the 'super edit' project.
