and of course that means its raining!

Not your heavy monsoon type rain, rather its more fret and mizzle, enough to make you quite damp but not to stop you doing stuff and with the temp still in the 20's you really don't want to put on wet weather gear, you'll just get soaked from the inside out!

So, Monday, it was dry for Yorkshire day, i took a walk, did some writing then cooked us a celebratory dinner, lamb with home grown veggies followed by a jelly based dessert with dresh picked blackberries.

The forecast for Tuesday was a bit more mixed, some damp early on followed by drier but overcast conditions later. And so i set out for a loop to the coast, it started out dry but @ forty minutes in the mizzle descended and i spent half an hour getting progressively damper even if i was warm enough. I had intended eating at Clevedon but that would be al fresco so with the call of indoor seating (and toilet facilities!) i called a halt at a cafe that's never been in the right spot in the ride before at Congresbury.

By the time i'd eaten and drunk my tea the damp had dissipated so i continued on to the coast to continue the route i had in mind on departure. Through Clevedon then along the coast road to Portishead before diving inland to cross the Clifton suspension bridge before taking the 'scenic' route around the edge of the city back to base. It might have stopped wetting at lunchtime but the humidity meant i had hardly dried off furing the rest of the 106km ride.

And then there's today, a similar start but we are expecting clear skies after lubch so hopefully my laundry will dry, i've already optimistacally pegged it out! A walk, more writing and....well i guess some lunch would be good!

I'll be back with more drivel at the weekend, but for now,
Tack
