Hello everyone! First of all I want to say thanks for reading my story, it means a lot to me! I apologize for the slow pace, I'm usually a bit faster with my writing but I've been working a lot and doing my best to keep up.

The Mockreet is a steampunk dystopian story that involves a noble sentence to indentured servitude. He reveals that he is transgender and asks for an opportunity to live as his preferred gender for the duration of his sentence. This, however puts her in a perilous position as she is force to confront the life of servitude that she once forced upon her own subjects in a kingdom far away.

The main premise of this story, most importantly, is that while she IS forced to endure indentured servitude, her captors are by no means cruel. They can be cold, commanding, and strict, but at no point will we cross the line into torture or torment; that's just not what this story is about. It IS a story about a young girl being pushed to the limits of a choice she didn't know she had. It is also about the struggle of losing everything you have and the importance of accepting help where it is offered, because sometimes family has to be made.

The story will come in three parts, taking about a year to finish:

3. Hybra Rising
