I am not really sure why I haven't been blogging the last couple of days, but for anybody who is interested, here is an update:

I got my registration and insurance issues fixed, so I am back on the road, which is good news.

I took a heart stress test, and did very well, with my blood pressure well inside the normal range, which is also good news.

I've made some progress on my new Fluke story, which may or may not be good news, depending how you feel about that character.

The only fly in the ointment has been the lack of response to my last TTSD chapter, which has discouraged me greatly, and that, plus the likelihood that Amethyst will not be able to do a Pinpoint story means I am not sure if its worth even trying to wrap up the storyline.

There you have it folks.

Blood pressure. 'normal range' .. Etc.

Dr Greger, of NutritionFacts.org, has commented "Having 'normal' numbers in a population of very sick people (*) can leave you sick."

In https://nutritionfacts.org/topics/blood-pressure/ Dr Greger notes optimal blood pressure is around 110/70, and says this is found pretty much only among people who eat mostly plants.

Me? I'm 69 yo, had open-heart surgery about 6-1/2 years ago (for 3 not-diet-related problems) and have been eating only plants for the last 15 years.

And my BP runs about 120/70.

(*) We USAians lose over One MIllion (!) people a year, first from cardio-vascular disease, then cancer. And they sicken and die 7-14 years sooner than we plant eaters. (Current US population about 333 Mn.)

Angharad recently threw a bit of a 'hissy fit' for lack of kudos and comments. Someone spotted that it was something outside of BCTS that was 'biting their butt, and biting hard'. They said "yeah, that was a big part, and was working on the bites and biting".

- I'm one of those people who simply doesn't do a lot of commenting on stories. Fortunately, I'm no longer 'shy' about commenting, but mostly because I haven't got a lot to say.

I mesh poorly with "Whateley Academy" - style schools. I think a Big Part is that such schools try so hard to be neutral, to balance the 'good students' with the 'evil students' that the school itself becomes Evil. Plus, the evil cabals, such as Dot is now facing ... I have more than enough, we all have more than enough, of Evil Cabals in real life. {Long polemic omitted.}

The good news is, that for one of my favorite authors here - that easily overrides my distaste of the 'Whateley style'.

Now, just how the heck is Dot & company gonna solve, and resolve, the Wolf Cabal -er- Pack?
