Just over forty years ago I was sitting in a Palm Springs hotel bar when Reggie Jackson came in and sat on the stool next to me.
I asked Mr. October what time it was just so I could tell people Reggie had given me the time of day.
That was a good day for me.
So was today. Teflon Don finally was held accountable. All the Trump wannabees should have learned today that doubling down until you win or the clock runs out doesn't always work.
The Trump playbook is the spring that feeds the trans hate. Any day the Trump philosophy takes a hit is good for the acceptance of trans people.
Reggie gave me the time of day and The Orange One took a kick to his unctuous teeth. Life has its better moments.

I realized
That "the great mistake" was vermin before he ran for office. He is bigoted against anything not HIMSELF. If he ever pays any of the judgement his base will pick up the tab and give a like amount to his re-election.
I'm afraid that only an orange jump suit will end his romp on our constitution and morals.

People of his ilk, don't go to those kind of prisons. If he does any time it will be in a "white collar" or "country club" prison. He'll simply go on with life, running his business deals and influencing politics. The only difference will be that any face to face meetings will have to be where he is, because he won't be able to go to where they are.
Remember Martha Stewart, the TV cooking show host ("it's a good thing") who was convicted of insider trading? She spent time in Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia. Picture below show inmates walking the grounds of the facility.
Martha Stewart didn't have nearly the influence that Trump does.

It's a start
The money is a rounding error in his wealth.
The mindset he represents is going to be harder to tear down just due to the nature of the internet unfortunately where people will cling to groups no matter how wrong they are.
There needs to be far more victories like this before we can make a dent.
Taking down and not using Farcebook or Faecesbook and Twatter would go a long way too.
Lien on His Property
As a well known dead beat who has failed to pay multiple creditors, the judge should order a lien be placed on his favorite properties so that she can collect once the inevitable appeals have been exhausted.

Thing is I am 100% sure he has money squirrelled away in Goddess knows how many places. The rich knows all of the tricks and I doubt he leaves any to chance.
Let's Hope
Let's hope his long-term plan for survival includes depending on the Saudis or Putin. They're great people to place your trust in.

It took my late sister over 40 years before she told anyone. I took decades. Sexual assault is so deeply and persistently shameful. It was NEVER a surprise that she did not report. She was a champ on the stand and her attacker remains the cowardly creature he is known to be.

Rape Is All about Power
Thirty years ago I was at a meeting in Seattle with two employees and an attorney.
Unknown to me the attorney was organizing a coup and solicited the aid of one of my employees. He then raped her to secure his dominance. She told me about it twenty years later.
Unfortunately, had she told me, I could have gained justice for her and prevented the loss of $millions to my business.
The attorney realized a short-term gain by stealing my business but was ousted only months later when he assaulted another female employee. He found employment with a large national corporation and was soon indicted for another corrupt act.
I don't blame my employee for not coming forward. Only 3% of rapes and assaults are reported. Of those reported -- very few are actually resolved.
