I'm off on vacation on Saturday. Last year, I went to Norway and rode my motorcycle as far as the Arctic Circle. At the time, I regretted not going all the way to North Cape (Nordkap : 71.168032N, 25.781857E)
Well, this year, I'm hoping to rectify that and going right to the top and then returning through Finland.
One of the hotels we stayed at last year had an interesting piece of art on the wall on my room. It inspired me to write a story.
Starting Friday, and just one day before I get the ferry to 'Hook of Holland' I will begin to post this story called 'The Pink Hoover'.
This year, we are staying at some of the same hotels but sadly in Trondheim, we are using a different one. Perhaps I will get inspired there? Who knows.
I will leave the group that I'm traveling with in Alta on the return trip and head towards Finland, a county that I have never visited before. I hope to see some Reindeer along the way.

is a 2016 Triumph Trophy SE. This is it last year at the Arctic Circle Visitors Centre.
I've ridden well over 40K miles on her.

Hell is not far from Trondheim.
Hell is right on my route
and is located just south of Trondheim Airport. I filled up there last year on my journey south from Moi-I-Rana, so... Maybe I will again. However, I'm only riding the E6 north this year.

This is my route between major centres. Three day rides (out and back to the same place) are not included. (the routes between points 3/4 and 6/7 are totally wrong. That is because of the lack of intermediate waypoints.)

Ferry to Travenmunde (30 hours or thereabouts). Overnight in Lubeck because we don't dock until 21:00. Then visit Bergen-Belsen and overnight near Osnabruck before meeting up with the party at Hook of Holland for the ferry home.
