I'm not sure what's going on in my head at the moment. I feel so depressed I could curl up into a ball and so up I could practically float away, both at the same exact moment.

Ah, well.

WHAT?

ARE YOU BI-POLAR from your meds?

Hi, Dottie!

I was really down yesterday. I needed to go food shopping and get my new psych med Rx filled, but I couldn't even move; I just sat at the computer reading and over ate.

I completely need antidepressants to boost my neurotransmitters to a functional level. My depression is genetic, ie. some poorly formed neuron molecules for moving neurotransmitters can't do an adequate job. So, in the last few weeks one of my antide's "stopped working" (I don't know the mechanism). I've been increasing my dosage of another antide we have sitting around and today it finally kicked in. My prescriber also just switched me to a third antide; I picked up the Rx today and now have to blend it into the mix I just got stabilized on. Oh! the Wonders of Modern Medicine!

If you are feeling strange, just try to hang on. How you feel might soon change. You can check with your Drs., but there might not be a ready explanation. Your attitude can influence your mood and feelings, so try to stay positive. The hormones are probably rearranging your brain and your emotions can just come unstuck and fly all over the place. Just hang on; try not to worry, things will almost certainly stabilize!

Love ya, You're doing so well!

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee
