Wow! What a dream

I felt like sharing a little bit before I go away. Lately I've been having a lot of dreams and remembering them, which really isn't that odd for me but I know some people would be envious. A week ago I had a dream that my Aunt was back living and approved that I bought a house. I was more worried that since she was officially dead and I spent the inheritance, she didn't have anything to live on monetarily (though she would always be allowed to stay with me). Anyway, that's not the dream I wanted to talk about.

First off, real life back story or the dream won't make sense.

When I was off in college my Sophomore year, I left behind some pretty good high school friends. One really fucked up his life. I also left behind a high school crush that I had on this girl Angie. She went to a different school but I knew her through church youth group. When I first met her she was dating this guy Todd who use to hit her. I remember threatening him once and they broke up soon after (I really hope it was because of me). Then she started dating a good friend of mine, Nelson. Nelson was an odd kind of guy who sort of went off the deep end after I left for college my Freshman year. I remembered threatening to beat him to near death when he showed me these little blue pills he was taking. (I threatened a lot of people, but hey I was a heavyweight wrestler and the threat of physical violence seemed to work better than anything else in HS). When I left for college, Nelson's life fell apart and he went on to join JobCorp.

Here is where the story that matters take place. I came home for Christmas break sophomore year and guess who showed up as well. Nelson, that's who. We were two people who went very opposite ways in life. I was in college and Nelson had carved the name Rain man in his hair for reasons that weren't either clear or logical. Anyway, this made Angie quite upset. I went over to her house, I did that lots, and we sort of talked about things. She started crying and I had the girl of my dreams in my arms. It was prime time to make a move and the line, remember I am a good writer and lines come to me often and they are golden, that would allow me to take advantage of the situation popped into my head. All I had to do was tilt her chin so she looked into my eyes and say "Don't you know I have all the love you need." Then we would've kissed and life, for me, would've went a whole new direction. But it wouldn't have been right. I don't like taking advantage of people and I was dating a girl at college (who turned out to be psycho) so I just let the moment passed and let Angie cry in my arms. To be honest, I am very proud of that moment. I call that the Tiny became a man moment.

Anyways... I had this dream the other night. I was with Angie. We had somehow caught up with each other. It was present day, so it wasn't like reliving the memory. The conversation turned to that night and I told her what I was thinking internally. She said I did the right thing to do. Then she kissed me... a real nice long passionate kiss. It was wonderful. When we finally pulled away, all I could say was "WOW!!!" Then I woke up. I always wake up before things turn hot and heavy. I don't know if that's a good thing.

I just wanted to share something nice.

If I don't wake outright, I always seem to shift dreams when they get to the good parts. = (

Going away

After finishing my latest story, the cure, I'm going to try reality for a while and see if it's forgiven me.
