Just a line or two to introduce myself.

Been reading BigCloset and Top Shelf for ages, and the TG/TS stories in particular.

Reason?   Simply to live my childhood somewhat vicariously through them - since I didn't get to be a girl (physically) til I was 50 - I may one day put in a story, but I am without a plot at the moment - though I suppose I could write an autobiographical one - if you all want boring to death...

Hi Jen, I also didn't get to be myself until I was 50!! That was 13 years ago and my life has been truely wonderful! Oh I have had my share of problems, but on the whole I have really enjoyed it!! I am now reading your story and doing as you said living my girlhood through it!! I was lucky to have had my SRS 4 years ago and now pass quite well in public!! But I haven't shut out my prior life, too many good things happened that I want to remember!! The best are my 2 sons Jason and Michael!! I didn't get to bare them in my belly but I still love them beyond anything!! I recently moved to Columbus, Ohio from California. I know what was I thinking!!! I needed a change in my life and i was born and raised here. I am blessed in that I was able to keep my job (software engineer for IBM) and now work from home!! I have become very active in the rights movement for trans people. I have been able to go to the US Congress and talk to several Senators and Representatives about passing the trans inclusive ENDA. I have been keeping in contact via e-mail. Yesterday I got a call from Senator Sherrod Brown's office saying he had signed on as a co-sponcer of the bill. I am really proud that I may have had a small part in that!! I think I would like to get to know you, I feel I do a little from reading your story.

Hugs,
Pamela
