If I needed a reminder that as bad as I think things are getting, in actual fact they could be a lot worse, I got it last night at work.
I found out that Aurellia, my friend from the St. Albert store, is basically homeless and about to lose her transportation, which would spell the end of her working, at least short term ...
All I can do is pray she lands on her feet, I guess ...

Sh!t happens
especially to transgender people. We should be ten feet tall with all the manure we get.
It seems crazy that we get our knickers twisted about silly little things whereas serious trouble like this focuses the mind and reminds us how difficult life is for some other people. It also shows that support from governments in the developed world is still inadequate to people who are in difficulties.
