As this is titled I am having a time dealing with some confusion with life. First there is something missing in my story and as hard as I try I can't seem to see what it is. Secondly I recently found that my brother is SEVERELY Trans-Phobic... This does not bode well with me being who I am, then suddenly his demeanor changes around me and he is more protective and somewhat supportive of me. I wonder if he knows. I guess that there are somethings that just will confuse the hell outta us till we get a handle on them.

Phobic

Some people appear phobic of things that hold some fascination for them. They really want to deny that the fascination exists -- especially to themselves.

It is something that he will have to face if he is to accept a transgendered person. It's unlikely that he wants to face it There's no way of predicting how he will react if/when you come out to him. Hopefully, his love for you will overcome that reluctance.

Confusion

He may very well want what's best for you. Wait and let him tell you how he feels, but do not be alone with him until you are sure that it's safe to do so.

Getting around blocks

One thing I try when I can't see where a story is going, is to ask myself "What is the *worst* thing that could possibly happen?" -- usually it's pretty obvious. Then I work out what would happen if that worst thing actually *did* happen.

I've only had to do this twice. Once I did have the story go that way. The other time I didn't, but the exercise was enough to unblock me.
