A temporary hiatus in falling off bikes!

On the 23rd of November I am due to go into hospital for an operation. No not that one, that was done years ago! This time it's one on my back, I have a badly bulging disc which needs sorting. I honestly don't know how long I will be away from my 'puter and my stories. As some of you check things out fairly regularly, I thought it only fair to give advance warning so you can do something useful instead of wasting your time reading my rubbish.

hugs,

Angharad.

Dear lady, Take care of

Dear lady,

Take care of yourself, first. We'll miss your splendid story episodes, but better to wait a little than have you seriously out of action.

Rubbish

But it is such lovely rubbish! I don't always comment but I always vote. This is an amazing story and you have 'hooked' more than a few readers. Falling off of bikes is not much fun for real, but reading about these folks have almost made them like friends. Thanks for that Angharad!
hugs!

Best of luck

I've known people with chronic bad backs and the pain is disabling. I've been lucky mostly, rare, short episodes at mosr but, YIKES!

Take care. Get well.

Backs can be a pain ...

... literally! High back/neck pain is what stops me cycling any respectable distances these days, so I really empathise with you. You just take the time to convalesce properly but don't abandon us for ever ... please ;) More importantly, don't leave us with a cliff hanger or I can't be responsible for my actions :)

Very best wishes - get well soon

Rubbish? Bollocks

Angharad,

As a fellow Brit and one from the West Country too no less, I can honestly say that I didn't expect your serial to keep me on my toes as much as it has.

I got into trouble for spending time reading it from one end to the other when I should have been doing other things and now you say it's rubbish?

Shame on you!

You write beautifully and I even know places you are talking about.

You must pick up where you left off - or else.

Thank you for the entertainment and I hope all goes well with your back. At least it's not a pain in the neck you're having to deal with!

Nick

Best Wishes

Just want to wish you the speediest of recoveries! May everything go as smooth as silk and may you be up and around before you know it!

You have my sincerest sympathies on the back problem. I've had a dodgy disk problem for many years. Way back when, when I seemed to be stuck in bed periodically for weeks at a time, surgery was even suggested if things didn't get better. I don't know if they were sincere or just trying to scare me. A few years after that, I was lucky enough to find a physiatrist (no, I didn't spell psychiatrist wrong, a physiatrist is a sports-medicine doctor) who hooked me up with a much better physical therapy routine than the orthopedists had, and things improved. Immensely.

I'm sure you've done all the research and seen all the right people about your particular situation and have already determined that surgery is necessary in your case, so all that's left to do is wish you Get Well Soon!

I hope you get well soon

I find reading your rubbish to be an enjoyable part of my day.I hope everything goes well for you and that you'll return soon.Hugs Amy M
