I have always threatened I was going to write a blog. I thought today would be a good day to try. My plan going forward is to use this space for just some general thoughts,

First off I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to read my story, Alexa. I have been very surprised by the number of people who have enjoyed my story. As a first time writer you are always nervous about how your story will be received. I am surprised by the number of readers that have read the various chapters and the kind comments you have left. As I said, this is my first time posting a story and so far it has been a good experience.

The second reason I decided to post my first blog entry was to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jamie Lee Burke, the heroine of the story "Charlotte" and the star of the Jamieverse as created by Debbie V. If you have not taken the time to read her stories, please do so. I would have never of had the confidence to write my story if it had not been for my discovery of Jamie and her friends as well as their creator who has shown me great support since I have started this adventure. I can honestly say I have never wished a fictional character a happy birthday before, but she definitely deserves to be the first.

Please continue to support all the authors on this site. Most of us do this because we want to. We are not looking for any financial reward. The best you can do for most of us is leave a kind comment and continue to support this site.
