Sadly there probably will be no Wayward update this week. What with the sweltering heat and crap, I've fallen a bit behind. I've only been able to write in the morning when its cooler. Its a pain in the ass when you don't have an AC :(. So hopefully I can get a few more chapters written up again before posting Ch.4. I'll update as I make progress, probably on Discord :)

Hi En,

Since I grew up in Williamsville (a Buffalo suburb) and my dad worked in Niagara Falls, I'm just curious about the weather. What are typical lows and highs recently; what's the humidity?

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee

The weather

I live in Ottawa, Canada. We are currently enjoying about a week with lows and highs of 19 and 32 C, that's 66 and 90 F. I don't have an air conditioner either. Thank the Goddess for fans.

About 93°F (104) day, 73°F night. Going back to a 'cold' 81°F for Friday.

I'm a bit outside of Buffalo, I think the high today was 89 degrees. It was not a fun day. Its still not a fun day.

Summer Solstice

Daphne Xu's picture

Welcome to the Summer Solstice, when the days are the longest and the sun gets highest in the sky. The latter means that sunlight is the least spread out on the land, the most concentrated. It's the day every spot between the Tropic of Cancer and the Arctic Circle gets the most solar energy, the most heat from the sun.

But don't worry. Things are going to get hotter the next two months.

I hope that you can understand why.
