Don't Let Me Get Me...

Hello again! That song was just playing a bit ago and should give you a clue as to how I've been feeling the last few days. I'm really getting tired of it (the feeling, not the song. I rather like it ;).

Anyway, I thought I'd drop in and let you lot know I'm still around, if not as active as I'd like to be. Seems like every time my muse makes an appearance and I start to get some writing done, I get all depressed again! What's with that, I ask you?!

I've got at least four different things I've been working on, albeit rather erratically. Not much to show for my efforts yet, I'm afraid, but I'll get there! I know at least one of you will tell me not to worry about it, but I feel particularly badly about Venus Cursed!, since it was intended to be a daily story and it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything. I may have to read back through the whole thing to really get myself back on track for that one. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.

I haven't been reading much lately (In fact, I think I went for like a week without visiting the site at all, which is really unusual for me!), but I've been trying to get back into it lately. I wanted to thank Angharad, Sue Brown, and Persephone for giving me a few needed smiles and laughs over the last couple of days as I got caught up on their stories, I really needed that! :)

Here's hoping that all of you are feeling much better than I am, and that I'll soon join you! ;)

Get well soon!

And just so you know, when the circumstances conspire to prevent you from writing, perhaps then something is indeed afoot! So tune in on Sapphire's Place, Bek de Corvin's "Joy to the World" story of Heaven and Hell Universe to find out where that may lead! ^_~

Incidentally, it is chronologically the next after "The Balancing Act" recently published here on TopShelf!

Must be a bit of

thought transference....I was only thinking i had'nt seen you on BC lately, In fact i was on the point of sending you a PM to see how things were with you when your blog appeared, And yes you're right somebody will tell you not to worry about it....Me!!!...How can we complain when you share your talents with us all here f.o.c....So what if we wait a few weeks, Sooner or later your muse will reappear and you will once more share your stories with us all again. Until then, Remember Take good care of yourself.
