Well, I've finally finished re-reading all of Venus Cursed! and the side stories so that I could get back into it. I have some new ideas on how to proceed, and will be starting with yet another side story. This one will actually begin around chapter 23 or so of the main story. Once it catches up with the main story line I'll continue it, and the other side stories. As usual, I'll have links at the bottom of each chapter to the appropriate chapter in the main story, and will add links to those chapters of Venus Cursed!, as well.
Since I'm only posting once per week (Friday), and won't be posting two chapters of the same story right after each other, that means Venus Cursed! won't be continuing for a while, but I hope Toil & Trouble will make up for that.
Oh, and I have a new Venus Cursed! logo. What do you think?

P.S. Oh, and my latest story, Boys Will Be Boys, is not a serial. I expect it to be around 20,000+ words long but has a definite ending. I just thought I'd post it in smaller chunks.

The layout of the logo looks
The layout of the logo looks good, but because of the way the colours work, the 'Cursed' seems to come before the 'Venus', even with 'Venus' being larger. Maybe make 'cursed' an outline, rather than solid?
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Hot and cold
Magenta is a "hot" color, it comes toward the viewer. Black is a cold or neutral color, it recedes or at least appears to be behind the hot colors.
Use "lavender" instead of "magenta" for the word Venus. Lavender is a cooler color and will recede but has a similar emotional content to magenta. Use "true red" instead of "black" for Cursed. True red is a hot color with a similar emotional content to black. This should work though you may have to experiment with the exact shade of lavender.
Typography is a craft as well as an art and a science. :)
