As many of you know Nancy and I have striven to make sure that each chapter of God Save the Queen has been published on time every Tuesday for the last 14 weeks.
Sadly I've just managed to break that. Real world dramas and workload on my part (not Nancy who is far better organised and disciplined) have left me somewhat behind on Chapter 15, so I must apologise that it will be a few days late.

Please be assured that it is progressing (about 5,500 words out of a planned 8,000 - 8,500 are done in draft) and it will get finished soon, but we would rather do it right than do it right now.

The Lady Doest Not Speak The Truth

I am not better organized and disciplined. Why next to Seph, I come off looking like a dysfunctional sloth with a serious case of the slows. You should see how that girl plots out a chapter. You’d think she was planning to re-invade Normandy.

Persephone is doing all she can and that is all any of us can ask of her. Chapter 15 is a complex chapter with a lot of action and many moving pieces. Like her, I prefer to have something as right as we can make it first time out of the blocks rather than something that will incur the wrath of the Grammar Nazis or leave those who have been following the story scratching their heads asking, "Now how'd she manage to do that?"

Any who, stay tuned. The next exciting chapter in this adventure is just around the corner.

Thank you

Dear Nancy and Persephone,

Please continue doing the right thing. I very much prefer to go one week without a chapter, instead of you gals rushing to update. Your story is so good, and to do it justice, you need to take your time.

Greetings,

Jessica

Thank you once again,

'no problem, as it will be worth waiting for,as is any story from our intrepid duo!

Your loyal subjects humbly

Your loyal subjects humbly await the the next chapter, which will be a boon to our undeserving selves. We would be ungrateful knaves should we press for such a gift before it's time.
