I haven't posted chapters of any of the three stories I've been working on lately in about a week. Sorry.

The fact is, I've been in a bit of a funk. Seven years ago this last Sunday, my partner of 23 years, Jeanne, died. And today was my parents anniversary, they would have been married for 64 years but they are both gone.

I read some of my old blogs and posts about my Mom and Jeanne passing, I don't have the strength to read the one's about my father. But strangely, I do feel better.

Perhaps I can write something tomorrow or the next day.

Hugs to everyone,
Erin

It's good to remember

We remember those whohave touched our lives and left. The best way we can honour them is to live the life we were meant to.

Memories are like feathers

Dear Erin,

Like feathers, memories can be most beautiful, but it takes a TON of them to bring you down. You must have many many great memories, let those be the ones you ponder as you take some personal time.

Be well.

with love,

Once in a while I bare my soul, more often my soles bear me.

Take care and take it easy.

Hard to recover

It is so hard to recover from these sorts of losses and I am so sorry that you've had to experience that in your life. I hope that you get to feeling better soon. No one wants to suffer like this.

Much peace

Hi Erin. I know the

Hi Erin. I know the feeling. I have been in a bit of a funk since my sister passed on Aug. 3 this year. She was my little sister, and I always thought I would go first, as there was 11 years between us. She was born on my birthday, so we used to tell people we were twins born 11 years apart. . I am not looking forward to our birthday in December, and not sure what I will do that day. Thinking of taking flowers to her grave, maybe set it up for Christmas too. I dunno.
