Coulda kept going...

I was working on Sk8r Grrls Episode 19 when the first Coulda Been... story demanded to be written.

I guess, with my Dad dying 18 months ago (stepfather... more of a Dad than my fathead -- er, father -- ever was), then my baby brother last month, then my cousin Raychel's incident... and now the uncle that "Uncle Trayger" from Horsey Acres was based on is in the hospital and things don't look good. With all the recent tragedy in my life, I think I needed to write the Couldas down.

There are more swimming in my brain, but they're not as urgent as the first two were.

Would anyone be interested in my writing more of the same type of thing? Now, I'll finish Sk8r Grrls Episode 19 soon anyway, but instead of focusing toward 20 (Book III Begins), I'd be writing a "whole passel" of Couldas, I think. Keep that in mind when you answer.

At least three

At least three other possible Coulda scenes are floating about my tiny brain.

Wasn't it Jim Henson who said, "Without faith, I am nothing," after all? Wait, no, that was God. Sorry, common mistake...

Speaking for myself

Yes I would like to read the "Could've beens." At least half the reason I write is for therapeutic reasons. If it helps you it can't be wrong. If you want to share what you've written I think you've proved that you're a good writer and yes you do have a following here at BC.

Write as you can.

I understand the Could've been's, they are an interesting insight to what you have gone through, very theraputic. I however, would hate to see Sk8r Grl shelved. I'm so looking forward to the next chapters. Having said that, I know how writing works. Sometimes new stories pop into your head at very inconvient times. Camp K did that to me. I was struggling with a chapter in 'Healing Princess' when Camp K flooded my waking life with ideas. I had to get them down, or else they would have driven me nuts. SO, Edeyn, Write as you need to. I'll enjoy what I can get.

I would really like to see some ends tied up, should you decide to move on to another story. I really like this one.

Many Blessings

Don't fear for that

Sk8r Grrls is my open-ended serial. It will go on. :) At least, until I reach a point where it SHOULD end. Which I don't see happening for awhile. The chapters are just a bit spaced out now due to me returning to school!
