I've been waiting for some good news and it looked at one point today that my waiting was in vain.

I had hoped that my prospective landlord would have made his mind up by now but that hadn't happened. While I was with him, however, my daughter turned up and then a man with a van arrived. I asked about renting the van for Monday morning when I need to empty the flat and he asked where it needed to go so I suggested the large ground floor living room at the vacant property. That finally prompted the decision - the place is ours!

Earlier today I had a meeting with a restauranteur about building and hosting a new website. That was positive and I'll invoice him in the next few days, another of my client's site has also come up for annual renewal so that will mean an invoice.

Writing has nearly ground to a halt but I have most of Anchored 18 finished so that could be out this weekend.

I'm becoming more feminine in appearance and noted in the mirror today that my features are at worst androgynous. My hair is long enough to require pinning back but not quite long enough to require a scrunchy or hair band. I now carry a make-up bag and often wear foundation and mascara but to date no-one has commented! I have several lipsticks in the bag but I'm not yet brave enough to wear one in known company. My clothing is also predominantly from the female racks but most summer tops could be male as well. How far this goes is an unexplored question, I can't see myself in skirts in public for a while .

It sounds like it's coming back together for you and your daughter. I hope the pieces continue to re-assemble themselves and you can settle into your new home and resume writing for the entertainment of your many fans.

Good luck too with your continuing transition.

looking good

sounds like things are moving on in a good way, your new place sounded very substantial - a good base for building your empire. I wish I could build up the courage to go for the girly tops, I have worn girly jeans for ages now and nobody has commented or even given a second glance. Now the Black Watch tartan needle cords are a differant matter, very fitted and slim legs but they do make my bum look cute!
