I have lived here 6 years and this is the first tropical type storm we have had not to bad . Stay dry HUGS EVERYBODY -- RICHIE

That last line sounds like it should be on an AB site (stay dry huggies) LOL

Clearwater

Has gotten a little rain too since Friday. :) Fortunately what little high ground Clearwater has, we're on it!

Stay afloat Richie!

Uhmmm...

Grover, I used to deliver produce down to that area. While staying there, I decided to lay out for awhile. Some fella came by with a ruler. I asked what he was doing, and he said that I was the high ground. I need to lose some more weight...

Debbie

You're about 200 miles north of me and we're STILL getting bands from this. We've got some flooding, high surf combined with high tide and still patches of really heavy rain.

Keep your head above water Richie. Hope all is well with you.

Hugs,
Erica

Debbie sucks

It's been pouring lately in east pasco which is north of tampa. Luckily I get to deliver papers in this mess. Yesterday some roads were underwater and I even stalled out. The van turned over eventually but a lot of people didn't get a paper. I was surprised at the lack of complaints. Last night wasn't as bad and it looks sunny out now.

I hope Debbie goes away.

South Florida

In my part of Florida we're getting some strong winds but little rain. I don't pay much attention to weather reports but to me Debbie seems too far away(350-400 miles) to be the cause of the wind gusts down here.

Its blowing away

Richie, I'm glad you and all my fellow Floridians are safe. Down here in Broward it was not too bad. But my daughter complained of the winds and rains in Tampa. May your comment about this being as bad as it gets this year ring true. Don't need any more Wilma's - I was without electric, other then a borrowed generator and some minor help from LOOONG Extension cords for just over two weeks. Last report the storm should be in the Atlantic by tomorrow.

Too bad there is no way to send even part of the rain to Colorado. Maybe set up a whole lot of wind turbines ;-0.
