So trying to cut myself off from my family did not work. just after I got myself my own phone plan my own life. everything was going great. my car blew a head Gasket.

It's like I do good. I make progress. then my life makes an abrupt uturn and I HAVE to deal with them.well now for the next month my car is at my dad's place and he'll be repairing it. I just can't seem to win.

I mean it's like life is dangling meat infront of me and I take it only to find out it's a rock spraypainted to look like meat. and then everyone laughs at me because I busted a tooth. I'm still figuring out how to survive with out my car.

That's the way life is

Take it from an old person, life is like that. It's the same as work, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. With life if there wasn't disappointmnet there would never be good time. Think of the person that has everything and never worries about where their next meal is coming from. There's never any sadness to balance out their good fortune. They don't know how happy they are, so taking that first pill to feel even better is easy, and then the next is easier still. No, a blown head gasket will make you appreciate your car even more. Life is a journey, enjoy it, Arecee

Roll with the punches(or try too at any rate)

Life is full of ups and downs (hmmm reminds me of a story title of mine...)
Things are sent by some evil diety to test us and our resillience.

People are also different in the way they handle those trials and tribulations. My ex really used to go apeshit as me and my 'water off a ducks back' approach to life. She'd get all stressed up and ended up on anti-depressants. She seemed to take everything far too seriously.

I feel for you in having to leave your car to get fixed. Just when you wanted to not be beholden on your family any longer. As the song goes, 'look on the bright side of life'. You will get your car back. It is far less serious than if you had a prang. If you look at it that way then things are better already (I hope).
