Hello ladies, I'm a 'newbie' on this site and have read some great stories. I've had some writing experience but not in this genre, so I am trying my hand at it. My chief character buys some adhesive breast forms like those advertised on the home page. I understand they have to be removed on a regular basis. Can anyone tell me how often and how long they have to be kept off? Also can they be worn while having a bath or shower or will that loosen them?

But I have worn them 24/7. Without anything between my skin and them, my chest develops a weepy rash some where in the third week. So I'm guessing 2 weeks so that the skin underneath can breathe. I had to leave them off for two days before the rash healed. But I think if you removed them at least overnight every 14 days, you could alleviate the problem.
These days, I stick a panty liner to the back and don't have that problem.

depends on the type
for the standalone style, I don't go more than 4-5 days and depends on the adhesive method, the tape or the glue. but I generally do them nightly as I just insert in with my own, no adhesive. now they have other options that are designed more for long term wear, or they have the "chest plates" that are a whole piece for the chest, that one I wouldn't do more than a day
