Hi everyone! For anyone who is following my current series, Always and Forever, I'm changing my posting schedule to twice weekly until the series is complete. My plan is to post Monday evenings (GMT-5) and Friday mornings.

And for those of you who aren't following it . . . I hope I can entice you! :-)

Hugs,

Emma

Keeps Your Readers Focused

Serious comments seem to be more plentiful in a twice weekly posting as one's readers seem to be following closer although once a week isn't bad. Too much time gap and readers have read a dozen or more stories in between posting and lose their concentration on the story. At times I must go back and read the previous chapter to continue a story when too much time has elapsed between postings.

I like to experiment. I was only able to manage weekly with MaxWarp, but my other two serials were generally twice a week (though the dates were irregular). I’m confident this schedule is manageable, and the story will be shorter.

Thanks, Barb.

Twice the Emma postings, twice the fun! That seems to put a bit of pressure on you (or your muse) but I'm looking forward to it. Btw, now that I read the Mark Twain article you referenced in your comment to catherd on the German language, which was delightful, I feel less of a writer when using parentheses, but I'll get over it. lol. :DD

That was a Catherd ‘find!’

What a gem, right? The article, Mark Twain, and Catherd, jointly and severally. :D

I try to keep parentheses under control. They are a fixture of legal writing — with reason — but a little goes a long way in fiction.

Thanks, Dee!
