Your Work In Progress

Tanya; Your new stories are great and chapter Five is really great. Looking forward for more of all of them. Richard

Column width

Hi Tanya,
Took a look at your stories in progress page and wonder if you can get the column size to adjust to higher resolution screens? You page only takes up half of my screen and the column about a quarter. I am using a very high resolution on my system but don't have this issue with many other web sites (including here on BCTS).

On another note, your site is looking great and hope you decide to finish Monique.

Page Style

Puddintane's picture

It would not be easy to do on her end, as every paragraph is individually styled. On the other hand, every browser allows you to turn off the styling imposed by a web site, often through some entry on the [VIEW] top menu item.

This is necessary so that persons with visual disabilities, or persons using display devices not contemplated by the page designer, can access the text.

If you turn off styles, the text will all move to the left margin and you can adjust the page width by resizing your browser window.

Truning Off Stylesheets

Puddintane's picture

Firefox: View - Page Style - No Style

Safari: Develop - Disable Styles

Opera: View - Style - User Mode

MSIE: Some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) did not support the ability to turn off Stylesheets, but you could load an *empty* User Stylesheet and accomplish the same thing.

Otherwise: Explorer - Preferences - Web Content - Show Stylesheets
