Well I suppose the fall off in comments to Sissy farm shows that most have read it before on Fictionmania or perhaps it's a bit too strong for most of the readers on this site. Or perhaps it's just not up to standard.
I'll just take the advice offered and post one about every 3 days until I reach the revised/re-written chapters.
Well the other news is that I've reached chapter 8 of The Angry mermaid. Once I've finished it, I'll create a TG Version for BCTS.

Back Soon.
Beverly.

Maybe it's just summer

and people are outside enjoying the weather instead of staying in and reading stories on the computer.

sort of curious, or not

I know when I first discovered sites with TG stories I read all sorts of things... just to see. There's a lot of crap out there, much of it male fetish type stuff. When I discovered BC I posted a blog shortly after, stating my feeling that BC is a more female site as opposed to others. I still think so. I make no comment on your story Bev as I haven't read it, apologies, but I will seldom read stories with Sissy prominently mentioned. There are other tags that will make me, most times, look elsewhere too. Always exceptions but I get little sit and read time as it is, so....

There is very little at FM or Crystals and others that I will look at any more, some great things, but boy you have to wade a bit to get there. No doubt I miss some good stories too, but again...

Anyone that takes a bit of time to look at what works here will see that some stories are unlikely to. Anything of a heavy dark or sexual, especially fetishistic nature will probably not. Sissy is a bit of a red rag to many, so again... There is also I believe a shift in what is popular from what may have been. Type and style and that will vary site to site a little too. A theme that may have been big some years back may no longer work as well. Taste and attitudes. You can delve into all these things, but maybe not as it might have been done a few years back. This is not a jab at anyone or any style of story, just an observation. Hey my latest thing went from decent reads to barely registering over 5 pieces, so there ya go. Then it was a bit dark...shrug. Maybe I should have used a cute anime character in the title huh. Umm, no I don't think so. All you can do is go with what you feel.

I tend to agree with Kristina

Sissy in the title or tags is a turn-off for me, as is bondage, fem-dom and the like. I will try to read work by new authors (I'd have missed some great stories otherwise) but I have my favourites and not a lot of time.

So nothing personal Beverly.

I'll have to

agree with the others the word sissy bothers me enough to turn me right off of a story as much as other things. I'll admit I haven't even read the story. Sorry.

Turn offs

There are dozens of words which turn me off a story, sissy being one of them.

I enjoy the kind of stories where the "victim" feels empowered by the experience, rather than humiliated by it. I think there's too much humiliation in real life to want to read about it.

But to each his own. If it's any comfort, I can go into a large bookshop and come out having found nothing to read!
