Alright, so here's the sitch.

I have the next part of PFH:TSS finished, with part 6 started. I also have the next issue of Switcheroo finished, with the next one about halfway done.

I was planning on waiting until I had a backlog of a part or two extra each before posting any more, but I want to know what people think. Should I post them now, or wait until I've got a buffer before doing so?

honestly?

I'm too addicted to PFH to wait :p

so I'm voting for as soon aas possible, but that's only my opinion ^^

(I'll have to reread switcheroo, because my memory is fading on that story)

grtz & hugs,

i dont mind waiting

your stories are always worth the wait. But dont make us wait too long ...

I agree with Sarah, I love reading and rereading Princess for Hire. But if you decide to wait, I will wait.

Good things come to those who can't wait too!

I was really, really bad about waiting for things at Christmas as a child and I'm pretty much the same with PFH chapters! My vote would be to post it. RL far too often eats into buffers anyway!

post it

if its finished and ready, post it. you might get some ideal from the comments for the next part. or just some thank you's.

I vote for posting it!

I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter. Maybe I'm just selfish!

Yes.

I prefer to have a backlog - when serial writing... For technical reasons. I was much happier having about 10k words backlog when posting... But, with the spacing I've been managing lately, I've been going with 3-4k words backlog.

Why backlog? Because I like to lay groundwork for events. A little bit here, a little bit there... And, some times the appropriate bit needs to be inserted several thousand words earlier... Without the "backlog" I can't add important stuff.

That said, I plan well enough ahead, that I've rarely needed to go back and foreshadow events.

So - I guess it depends a LOT on you and where you are. You need to be comfortable posting. Pay little attention to the readers. The typical reader want's it all yesterday! I know, I am a reader as well as a writer (okay, a hacker. I won't dignify what I do as real writing). LOL

Good Luck,
Anne

I say: post when you have one in reserve.
