But I have a Nook...

Do you have any plans to publish via Barnes & Noble to support the many many users of the B&N Nook and other eReaders that support ePub + Adobe DRM and not Amazon's proprietary format?

Thanks, I am looking at various alternatives, so watch this space. The problem is simple... I am trying to write for most of the time, and the Kindle publishing takes about four minutes to upload, but I will try alternatives if they are viable.

Or PDF say on Lulu

I don't mind paying. That has never been an issue and I do not share it either. However again I do not like DRM and would pay extra to be free of it. Else one day I am sure I will find it on torrents.

Another vote here for Barnes & Noble

We have a Nook and Nook apps on our tablets and even a Droid. It is a great reader even if you don't buy from B & N. I have been purchasing e-books from Baen Books (http://www.webscription.net/) for a number of years. It is mostly sci-fi but is DRM-free and available in a number of formats - including e-pub. I also use calibre to convert between formats but don't like the reader as much.

A couple things I don't like about B&N: It's hard to browse for books in the apps or reader - we usually search and purchase using a web-browser then sync the reader to download. If you sell on their site, please make your book lend-able. We thought we would lend between us quite a bit but have found that very few books can be loaned. I know this is a publisher thing, not a B&N one but it's annoying.

Good Luck with your sales.

Jamie

Thank you

eBook Reader

Greetings

I don't own a Kindle, nor see any reason to purchase one. But do enjoy reading stories. In Plain Sight will be added to the list.

One way I have have to read stories formated for Kindle, and other ebook formats, is a program called calibre.

"calibre is a free and open source e-book library management application developed by users of e-books for users of e-books."
The program can be downloaded from http://calibre-ebook.com/

I really enjoyed writing the character of Juliette. She has a lot in common with me, and lot of what I'd like to be, but whether there's room for a sequel, I'm not sure. Granted we've seen her develop into someone of some substance, but now she's just another girl, I believe I've taken her as far as I want to. I almost feel that she wants to be left alone with her husband and kids. Perhaps she has to come out of retirement for something, but then, maybe there's someone new waiting to take on that task. I shall consult my muse and see what she thinks. Thanks for commenting. It's certainly worth a thought.
