I've been toying with something all day. I wrote Brandon standing back for the love to happen between a woman he was in love with and the woman she was falling for more than him who was also someone he loved more than blood family even if they'd never happen.
So...when two of my comments fro to really great girls (Hey Dorothy! Hey Lora!) mentioned what I've been toying with I though I'd actually put this out there for you all.
What kind of person should/would you like to see Brandon with. I'm not passing the buck but just wanting your take/s I have an Idea but I'd love to see yours.

Brandon deserves...
who does a MAN like Brandon deserve? Unfortunately, there is only one Sam and only one Cass... i'd almost recommend Lacey, but she is already involved and heartbreak isn't something that Brandon would cause... he is too good a man to have anything less than a true human, like he is. i agree with Lora... i'd be in that line up for Brandon, if my heart wasn't completely owned by my sweet Lisa. do me a favour though? please have Brandon be the one Sam chooses to take her for the first time vaginally... please...

I think Brandon needs a strong woman, but one who is self-confident in her abilities. Brandon is a protector and needs to feel he is 'taking care' of his mate. She'd ride his motorcycle instead of insisting on her own ride. Feminine, but not girly; she'd dress up classy, but would have no problems pulling on a pair of Wranglers, denim shirt, and a sturdy pair of boots. Quick to laugh but knows when to be serious. Strong but flexible: she can bend like a willow but there's steel in her spine. Mentally I picture a slender woman but with all the right curves, a couple of inches shorter than Brandon so when she puts on heels they are level. Thick, full light brown hair naturally sun-kissed, coming to just below her shoulders. She'd normally wear it down or in a ponytail, but can easily put it in a beautiful up-do. Normally slow to anger, she can become fierce when when her family or friends are threatened, then it's "Katie Bar The Door" time. Fights dirty when she needs to, but prefers to leave room for her enemy to become her friend.

Ol' Hank was always kind of a slow-talking kind of guy. This girl I've imagined is fast with a comeback or a putdown. I was kinda thinking of her as a lawyer in her day job. She could rip you up in court, or take you down (Hard!) in a bar. I was thinking of hair like a young Linda Evans when she was in Big Valley, but darker. Her looks too except a trimmer figure, with a personality something like A.D.A. Abbie Carmichael from Law and Order. Without the questionable political beliefs.

Brandon's Girl...
Difficult question. I want to say Sam. In fact it would be easy to say a Sam clone but I think it would need to be someone a little different so they never felt Brandon was settling for them as a substitute for Sam, particularly given his role as adoptive father to Sam and Cass's child. I don't think it should necessarily be someone we've met in the story yet either or if it is they should be someone we don't know well. Perhaps someone Sam or Cass could introduce to Brandon might assuage some of Sam's guilt?
I'm not to bothered about whether she's black / white, tall / short, skinny / curvey though she should be physically in decent fitness. She would need to possess an inner strength while still being soft. More girl next door than glamour girl but still feminine. Practical in attitude but happy to let Brandon do the guy thing while she does the girl thing. The sort of woman who would be happy to spend time with Brandon just enjoying his company while he painted a fence and (if appropriately attired) who would be happy to help out, although she might in good humour moan if she broke a nail while doing it.

It should be a nice girl
It should be a nice girl named Lizzie who covers for Cass's maternity leave from RCMP.
She has long blonde hair, dark brown eyes 5ft8" slim, 38D, very fit. She's serious but has a fun side, she likes to paint and draw in her off time, she also loves cats n horses.
Oh and she absolutely loves Mocha's.

I think he needs a caregiver
someone who works and/or volunteers helping wounded people. She needs a big heart, a level head, oodles of compassion, and tons of grace.
