Our life experiences give us all sorts of story ideas. It is just amazing.

Tonight I watched, "The Help", and I have no doubts in my mind that if the story is not literally true, it is in substance. Oddly, it took me back to my time with my family, and as I watched it, I realized that I had about the same status in my home as one of "them coloreds", and when they could no longer use me, I was fired. It was a dark, bleak realization but now I feel empowered.

Through the years, I have talked to other T folk who related the same sort of thing to me, it is not an uncommon experience

I will use my past experiences to fuel the stories I write in the future.

Be Well

We all do that gwen.

Our experiences are the best source of material for writng about them portrays the truth. I'll be expecting more good ones in the future. Glad to see you're up and running, Cathy expressed some concerns on Skype last night, so I'll skype you tommorow when I get back from a meeting about child abuse in South Wales.

Things appear to be coming to a head in Swansea, the mayor and some councillors tried to get this meeting banned and the police were actually processing a prohibition notice (There's no more free speech in Britain,) but the organisers managed to get the notice struck down. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the mayor's political cronies realise their plans have gone awry. Skype you tommorow.

Love and hugs,

Bev

No more drama eh?

Hey Bev:

I'm just so busy now days, what with the classes I'm taking, and other things. I am also thinking about finding a niche with some trafficking prevention organisation. Gee, why would the Mayor be against your meeting?

Be well
