I know I haven't posted a new story in quite some time, and believe me it is a lonely, unrewarding existence. But I am still slaving away at the next great novel. It is turning out to be quite the project and I keep plugging along. I hope it is good. I am putting a lot of work into it and it is a departure from my normal fair. Sure it is emotional and hard hitting, but my characters actually have supportive, stable home lives. I just topped over 100,000 words and haven't gotten to the first climax yet. My fear is that the end of the book is going to be like falling of a cliff. All that build up and then splat. I know exactly where the work is going and I've been averaging about 2500 words a day. I really want to start my Christmas fluff stories, but I might have to pass them by this year. Sorry.

Well if it anywhere near as

Well if it anywhere near as good as some of your previous stuff it will surely be worth the wait, as for managing 2500 words a day, I wish my story was coming together that well. Hope it comes out the way you are expecting.

proofers

My three proof readers don't seem to have any complaint. I just want this to go well. It is going to be a pain to edit it. I have to do a lot of cutting and tighten up the writing. My plan is to offer it as an e-book and real book, but start posting 2 or 3 chapters a week on here for those who can't afford to buy it. I guess I have a strange set of loyalties.

Loyaties

I wouldn't really call it strange loyalties, I would more call it wanting to share it with as many people as possible. Which is I'm sure no bad thing, I mean I know personally there are several books here I would go out and buy as ebooks.

Katie's update is most

Katie's update is most welcome. I for one read all of your stories and comment/kudo each.
