I use Fictionmania to throw out sketches and I have recently been told that as a result I am the largest contributor to that site (by number) knocking our dear Dorothy Colleen off that spot (sorry Dot). But here was the message posted on the board over there:

Here's my stab at translating the original post:

Got to be exaggeration, unless you are writing a LOT more at FM than you are here, or postings there are WAY down. :)

The problem the person commenting in Portuguese has is not really that you write too many stories but that others aren't posting that many. If your postings keep other from posting then, and only then, you are the problem. There is no evidence of that.
If there are too many of your stories there's an easy solutioin: Don't read them!
Judging from the last seven days that would still leave 46 out of 53 stories. Which means that commenter is not very good at math (13% instead of the >30%-40% claimed).
Further, why post a comment of this kind in Portuguese at a site where >95% of the stories are in English? Maybe the commenter is unhappy about you not writing in Portuguese? And why call you Mariane Pep(p)ers?

Too much Maryanne?
Maryanne's 337 postings on FM barely exceed Dorothy's 328 and not much more than Melissa Madison's 319 (though hers are so different from each other that I suspect several authors are posting under that name). At least Maryanne's are all well written, as are Dorothy's. Some prolific authors on FM aren't even worth reading, IMHO. Some days have fewer posting than others, but that's hardly the fault of any one author.
