I just got back from going out for breakfast with my mom, and it was a strange experience. Our server was not only a cheerful and talkative young lady, she seemed to want to touch me as often as she could - rubbing my back, my arm, and once actually sitting in the booth beside me.

I have no idea why.

Otherwise, it was an okay day, I got my blood work done, so that's one more step taken care of.

Each step, even a baby one, is a good one, I think.

Acceptance

I think the young women was totally reacting to you as another girl picking up on your need of acceptance. and Physical contact was her way of letting you know she accepts you as a woman and comforting you as she would her own girl friends. She is a huger, and probably very empathic.

I have known quite a few

I have known quite a few touchy-feely people, and have never minded them. My wife however despises them she has personal space issues. And tels really really (smh).

A Tochy/Feely Guy

My father needed to see a doctor for back pain. When my father left the room for a minute the MD started touching me in various places. He gave me the creeps. The next time I took my father I wore a "wedding ring." It stopped the MD's advances.

There is a big difference

There is a big difference between friendly and inappropriate. I have mostly known friendly folks and would have punched someone for inappropriate.
