Michael Taylor was a 17-year-old boy living in a town in Australia. Something happened and he found himself on a path to becoming a 17-year-old girl. This is a story about an ordinary teenager that had something extraordinary happen to him and how he tried to cope.

This is set in Australia and thus a very small portion of the slang might be a shade confusing to a lot of you but I'm sure you non-Aussies will pick it up. Also, like a lot of Australians the characters have a relaxed relationship with swearing. So, it may seem a shade gratuitous but I assure you it's fairly realistic. Sorry it took so long to

Sorry it took so long to write. I absolutely adored this story and I'm sorry to see it end. I'm glad I discovered it late because I ended up reading the first 30 chapters compulsively and don't think I could have waited between installments. I really hope you continue to write more stories. Kate Draffen is wonderfully written and you have a real talent for storytelling and character development. I recommend it every chance I get.

Final chapter

Dear Swishy,

You are such a class act! It would have been sooo easy to play the revenge card and have Holly contract SRG or some such 'fitting' punishment but you rose above the obvious and settled for a 'sauce stain on the deb dress' instead. Loved that!

It has all been said but I want to add that you are wonderful and much loved in our community.

Love,

Jan

My favourite novel

The first time I read this book, I was stunned. It opened my eyes to how good a TG story can be. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if someone paid Swishy a bundle to develop a screen play from this. I envy anyone who hasn't read this already... the adventure is still ahead of you.

But be aware, this story will swallow your life for a while. It's a long one, and once you start, it's very hard to stop.

The girl in me. She's always there, occasionally losing herself in a small Australian town.

My absolute favorite story. What I wouldn't give to be able to read it and discover its joys for the first time again. For those about to dive in for the first time though, you are in for a treat. Always hoping Swishy treats us to something new and equally great.
