...Just to put my work into context, I am retired, in that I have ceased one job, but am too young to stop working altogether. I need to work, but the financial climate is such that my line of work is suffering from corporate budget cuts and streamlining. I therefore have more time to write and am working on seventeen full length novels, several of which I shall post free here and on other sites. Some of them are sequels to works I have already posted.

However, I also need to earn a crust, so am looking to publish in eBook format several of my new novels. In addition, I am working on some novels destined for mainstream publication, with no or minimal TG elements therein.

I, as Sephrena has said, do visit regularly and read all comments. I have to admit that looking at some of my early works..like Shit Happens.. even though I thought I'd edited and revised them, I am embarrassed as to the basic faults I am finding. I'd love to go and redo them all again, but haven't the time, so be patient with me.

I'm not going to bust a gut in the editing of old work. Perhaps later, when I'm a million copies best selling author, I may employ someone to do it for me, but at the moment, I spend all spare time creating new material.

I do have very dear friends who cast a critical eye over my work, I think as an excuse to get an early peek at my humble offerings, and I am eternally grateful for their efforts. I am not perfect and my typing is, to be brutally honest - crap! But I do what I can.

I adore creating characters and then weaving plots for them to live through, but if there was abetter way of getting the words onto paper (even virtual paper) I'd do it. Please, if anyone knows of a mental-transference of words, let me know.

Hugs
Tanya

Other methods not typing

RAMI

There are several programs on the market, one of them is called Dragon Naturally Speaking, where you talk into a microphone, and it produces the words spoken into a typed format. It works with several word processing programs. I use it with Word Perfect and I also know it works with Word.

It takes only a short time to get it set up, and it works fairly well. The more you use it, the better it works. Apparently the computer and the program learn your voice and it inflections.
Don' ask me how or anything technical, because I can not answer. This may help you.

referring to someting a tad more efficient than that. Perhaps they'll perfect that USB port for the mind - to directly compose the story - subconscious to disk file. :-)

Tanya, Thanks for posting here. I'd read (and mostly enjoyed) the stuff you had (/have) on Maddy Bell's site. Good luck on turning your hobby into a revenu generation tool. :-)

Im always in awe of your works Tanya

as they have changed my life. Your words inspired me to get up and fight where I would not before to begin changing the wrongs done to me. I'm an all around addict of romance and self discovery, the core values of a lot of your stories and what I need and want in my life. And you know I'll do whatever is needed to help you get them published and spread. You have a voice that needs hearing. No one is perfect, and thats a good thing too. Because, if everyone was, the world would be a boring place. Your works are written in a way to allow us to live inside your stories for a short while. And that is really a beautiful thing as your worlds you create are vivid, real, and intriguing. To experience your world through your characters is an intoxicating experience.

I feel humbled you have allowed me to work on your writings to display them here for our community. I do hope you find our little spot on the net worth your while to visit and read as well as displaying your works. I work very hard to keep us progressive, and the best all around TG site in the web. If you need anything from me, you only need ask. I will make all the room available to assist you. My body may be frail, but my will, determination, and efforts are strong.
