Not only does this book continue the experiences of our great heroine Louisa Anderson... but it creates perhaps the sweetest and most complex of all Tanya's characters in Willie Salmon... I helped edit the book and as I said in my introduction, how could you not love someone who explains that the doctors have told him that his gender problem seems to be based on a "Harmonica Imbalance" - so precious... be patient at the story sets up... and you will love and relate to both of these wonderful gender bending heroines...
