First of all, allow me to thank everyone who has read, commented on, and kudoed the story so far. However...

There seems to be quite a lot of negative thinking going on about this story and I feel I should attempt to set the record straight. I'll address the "tags" first.

There ARE tags that would SEEM to be appropriate for this story that actually are NOT. If I included things like "force femme" or "betrayal" they would lead you, the readers, down the wrong path and cause you to not read the story.

Without giving away the whole plot, let me just say that there is a mystery within the story and I refuse to take away you readers' enjoyment at figuring it out, and your pleasure at the way things progress and end. I'll only say that things are not always the way they seem. What you perceive to be happening, might not be what is really happening in this story.

Barbie is a very good storyteller and this is HER story. I will not presume to give things away and spoil it. I Implore all of you to continue reading the story through to the end and THEN see if you feel the same way about the way it was written and tagged.

Let the chips fall where they may.

I have seen some negative response to the story, but I liked it even if it took me to an uncomfortable place for a bit. No pain no gain.

There are three of my early stories that are flat out FF, with an abundance of fearful trauma. For me, I was simply writing about my own fears and pains in many ways. I do not recall much negative reaction

I'd say we let her have a go at it.
