Ryan lay in bed once again. This was the third day in the last 4 weeks that he was not feeling well enough to go to school. He didn't mind missing school. What kid does? The relentless fever he felt however was disconcerting. His pajamas were drenched as was his hair.
To say Ryan was stressed is the understatement of the year. He was downright petrified. Looking at his mom and dad, he could see the sheer concern on their faces as well. Even his little brother and sister knew something was up.
The signs were there. The high fever that reoccurred every several days. The fatigue that made him want to sleep non stop. The pain in the abdomen that was faint but constant. As each episode transpired, the need to find answers grew stronger.
"Ryan, I made an appointment with Dr. Monroe tomorrow morning. We need to find out why you have not been feeling well lately."
"Mom, I'm fine...I've just been under the weather a little. It's going to pass." He replied with a sense of desperation.
"I know sweety but we need to find out. Imagine how relieved you will be when you find out that you are safe."
Ryan thought about how incredible it would be to find out that he was not one of them. That all of his symptoms were just an odd coincidence. That would be such a relief and a tremendous weight off his shoulders.
"Ok mom, I'll go"
His mom gave him a hug and let him rest. She tried to look strong in his presence but on the ther side of his door she let her concern out as a tear fell down her cheek. Her son was the epitomy of the all-American boy. He was good looking, athletic and such a boy. Ryan was their pride an joy. He led the high school football team as its quarterback and dated the head cheerleader. He was a boy's boy and prided himself on being the best at everything he did. Oh how their lives would change if he was stricken. The possibilty made her shudder, but she had to know. This suspense could not go on any longer.
The next day Ryan was feeling much better. His fever had subsided and he felt like himself again.
"You know mom, I'm way better than I was yesterday. I think I would be ok with not going to the doctors today."
"Ryan, we need to find out. It been happening too often for us to just ignore. We need to do this."
Ryan knew his mom was right and silently agreed with a nod of his head.
"So Ryan, it seems that you have been having symptoms of high fever, persperation, dull pains in the abdomen and exhaustion several times recently. It could be a virus of some sort. Although rare, it is possible to have a reoccuring illness." Dr Morgan explained.
Ryan felt a little at ease. It could be only a virus.
"With these symptons though, we need to run the GR-2 test which I'm sure the both of you figured."
Ryan and his mother nodded their heads in agreement.
"Ok. Now I can't say I understand what you are going through but I can tell you that by tomorrow you will know for sure where you are headed. I'm going to send Nurse Leigh in to take the swab and we will contact you as soon as we recieve the results."
"Thank you doctor" his mom replied.
Nurse Leigh entered the room and had Ryan open his mouth as she took a swab sample from his inner cheek. Ryan noticed how she looked at him with a sympathetic glance. It looked like a "poor-thing" or a "pity" kind of face that she gave him. He wasn't used to people feeling sorry for him.
Mother and son left the doctor's office both knowing that tomorrow would shape the rest of Ryan's life one way or another. Both knew they would not be sleeping that night.
"Let's go get some ice cream honey. It's going to be alright."
-----------
Part 2
-----------
It was a restless night. Ryan drifted in and out of sleep. So much was engulfing his thoughts. The results of the test meant either life as usual or a a dramatic, world-altering change. There is no way that this could happen to him. That kind of stuff happens to other people right?
Ryan saw the look on his mom and dad's faces as they sat in the waiting room of the clinic. The concern was visible. He was glad his brother and sister were not there. The whole idea of this was not only scary but also incredibly embarrassing.
"How are you doing today Ryan?" the doctor asked.
"I'm feeling alot better than yesterday doctor"
"Well that's good. So we received the results back from the GR-2 test and it's positive." the doctor clearly stated.
The oxygen seemed to get sucked out of the room and time stood still as that word left the doctor's mouth. POSITIVE. Ryan couldn't breath...his mind went blank...his body numb.
"It's not possible!" his dad shouted in disbelief, "how accurate is this test?!?"
"Mr. and Mrs. Conway, the results are 100% accurate. I know how much of a blow this must be for your family but..."
"Ryan is a star quarterback and is my boy! This cannot and will not happen!" His dad interrupted.
"Ted, please calm down" said Ryan's mom. She too did not know what to think. She knew this was a possibility but never did she think it happen to them.
"We have counselors here to help you all transition through this. This is going to be a very big change for not only you Ryan, but for all those around you. You are going to need a support group." The doctor explained, "I know how scared you must be, but you are not alone in this. There are thousands out there with your same condition who go on to lead very healthy and productive lives."
Ryan sat there motionless unable to comprehend what this all meant to him. His mom rose and wrapped him in a big hug. This could not be happening.
The next week was a whirlwind of counseling sessions for the family. Ryan found out what would happen to him over the next three months. Gr-2 was the medical term for a genetic condition which afflicted boys in their early to mid teens. For a still unknown reason, around 12% of the population of males began to see these changes 11 years ago. Although there has been a lot of light shed on the subject and acceptance has become commonplace, there is still little known of the cause of the change. What is known, however, is that a boy will undergo several periods of high fever and tiredness followed by feminizing physical changes. These changes vary from child to child but the end result is always a genetic female.
Ryan heard everything that had to be said but there was no way that these things could happen to him. He was strong, masculine and big-willed. If anyone could win this battle it would be him.
He met another boy in a later stage of the condition which was disturbing to say the least. The boy was so frail and thin and nothing like him. He never considered himself a homophobe, but this other boy was a plain sissy and the sight of him made Ryan angry. What really got to him was the way this other boy seemed to be fine with and even enjoyed the changes. His clothes were girl's clothes for the most part and he even had a girl's voice and mannerisms...freak!
Ryan's father continued to deny that his some was stricken. He would leave the room if the subject was even brought up.
Ryan's mom was the sensible one. She knew that her son would be going through a rough time soon and she would have to be the strength. The thought of losing her son was almost unbearable, but she tried to rationalize all the other things that are far worse than his condition. It seemed to work most of the time.
Jimmy, Ryan's 12 year old brother took every chance to tease his older brother. He didn't quite fanthom that it was real.
Kristen, Ryan's 16 year old older sister was worried about how people would treat them once the word got out that he was gr positive. Like any teenage girl, she was concerned about her social standing.
As for Ryan, he was determined to beat this. He felt fine now and he planned on keeping it that way. He chose not to tell his girlfriend or any of his friends.
Things were fine for three weeks...then the first fever hit.
Ryan pried open his heavy lids. His vision was blurred as he tried to focus his sight. Blinking several times and rubbing his eyes, he found his surroundings slowly come into sharpness. Oh, it felt like he had been hit by a truck. His whole body ached. His thoughts were a little confused as he tried to think about what had happened to him to cause such soreness. Suddenly it snapped! His first fever had hit...he quickly sat up and surveyed his body. Oh crap! He wasn't ready for this.
Funny, he still looked the same. He went through his whole body and found that nothing had changed. Maybe the fever hadn't hit?
Suddenly his mother entered the bedroom.
"Ryan you're awake" she said with a sense of relief in her voice, "we were wondering when you would come out of it"
"What do you mean mom?" Ryan replied in a cracky voice that seemed like it hadn't used in a quite a while.
"Sweety, you've been asleep for 3 weeks"
"What?!? But nothing happened to me. I'm still the same." Ryan stated in a panicked voice.
His mother looked him over. She knew that his skin had become very soft and delicate from seeing his progress over the last 3 weeks but could already see the fear and angst on her son's face. She would have to tell him though. There was no use denying what was happening.
"Your skin has changed Ryan. Feel it. Its very soft and smooth now. Your hair fell off your arms, legs and chest about 3 days ago also"
Ryan looked at his arms and was stunned at the change. It was subtle but obvious at the same time. His skin was super soft and looked like porceline. There was not an ounce of hair that he could find on his body. He gasped.
"Mom, it's happening. I don't want this to happen! I'm a boy not a freaking girl mom!"
His mother reached out to comfort her son.
"I know honey, but this is the card that has been dealt to us and we will deal with it as it happens ok?"
"No mom, I'm not going to change. I refuse to!" he said with anger in his tone.
The conversation continued for several minutes and Ryan gained his composure. He knew that everything the doctor said would happen was on the horizon but he was convinced that he could beat this. No matter what he would never be a girl. No matter how much his body changed, nothing would change his mind. The virus couldn't take that from him. He wouldn't let it.
His mom helped him out of bed and the next blow came.
"Mom, I shrunk!" he screeched.
Ryan had been 4 inches taller that his mother but now the two looked eye to eye. He looked just like he did before the fever...only shrunken down a tad. He now stood 5 foot 5 inches.
"Oh Ryan, I didn't notice that while you were lying in bed. I'm sorry I couldn't warn you" his mom sympathised with him.
He felt defeated. He was like 8/10ths his regular self. He reached deep within himself and took a deep breath.
"I can deal with this. I'm not going to let this thing beat me." He said with conviction.
"Why don't you get dressed sweety. I'm going to round up the troops. They missed having you around these last weeks."
His mom left him be. Ryan opened up his drawer and pulled out some underwear. Other than the aching body he felt fine. He felt like his regular self. He slipped on his underwear and of course they were a little big for him now. Damn. The waist fit alright but the leg holes did not cling. There was open space. His put on a tshirt which fit ok and a pair of jeans. He didn't want to expose his smooth, hairless legs to the world. Damn again. The legs of the pants were too long now. He bravely rolled up the bottom of the legs and walked downstairs.
"Hey Ryan, welcome back!" His older sister welcomed him.
"Yeah, about time you got of bed bro!" his brother quipped in.
His dad remained silent.
They all observed what looked like the regular Ryan but he was shorter for sure. He looked fairer than normal as well.
"Look, can we just forget about how I look different and move on with life?" Ryan stated. He hated everyone looking at him like some kind of freak.
"Yes honey, we are just glad to have you awake again." his mother replied.
"Dude, I'm gonna be taller than you if you keep shrinking." his brother joked.
"Shut up! I can still kick your little butt with one arm tied behind my back. Don't forget that" Ryan defensively replied.
His brother knew what Ryan was capable of and shut his mouth.
Dad continued to remain silent.
"So do you feel any different?" his sister asked.
"No, I feel fine ok? I just want to go on with life. I don't want to talk about this." Ryan replied.
"Good, let's leave it at that" Dad finally jumped in and then walked out of the room.
"Ok, well let's just get on with life then." Mother stated and left the kids who seemed to be fine with everything.
She caught up with her husband who had found solice in the garage.
"Do you mind telling me what the hell your problem is?" She snapped at him.
"I'm fine"
"Obviously not. What kind of way is that to treat your son who is going through a very rough time right now?"
"What the heck am I supposed to say? Do you have nay idea how hard it is for me to see him getting all girly? This is not supposed to be happening to my boy!"
"Do you think I like this? Do you think Ryan like this? No! This is going to happen whether we like it or not though and I choose to be a support and rock my my son. You need to decide where you are going to fit into this because your son is going to need all of our love through this."
"I just need time...leave me be"
She shuck her head and left. She couldn't believe how insensitive her husband was being.
"Ryan, Christina wanted to come over when you woke up. You should call her." his mom told him when she walked back into the room.
"Does she know mom?" Ryan asked. He really didn't want his girlfriend to find out.
"I had to tell her sweety. She was so concerned when you weren't able to talk to her."
Damn. He text her a couple times and she was coming over in an hour. How would this go?
Ryan was nervous. His girlfriend was on her way...what would her reaction be? He desperately wanted to appear strong and masculine. His skin had changed and he now stood a bit smaller than he used to, but he was still the guy she fell in love with. He remained the quarterback of the football team and could still be her man after all right?
The knock came. Ryan took a deep breath and swung the door open.
There stood his baby girl looking very happy to see him...with a bouquet of flowers?
"Hi baby!" she said giving her boyfriend a big hug, "I was so worried about you"
Ryan returned her affection but was thrown off by the flowers.
"I'm fine. I kind of shrunk a little but other than that everything is cool."
"You look good. Ummm, these are for you." she replied as she gave him the bouquet of flowers.
They were an interesting arrangement of red and white roses in a pink wrapper.
"Flowers?" he asked.
She looked at his disappointment and she couldn't take it anymore. She burst into tears.
"Christina, what's wrong?"
"I'm sorry Ryan. I didn't know what to do. I thought that you might like flowers now or something. I don't know what to think of all this. I'm so sorry." she replied sobbing softly.
"I told you not to worry babe, I'm not going to let this affect me. I don't care what everyone says, I'm not changing. Why don't you keep those flowers for yourself beautiful. They look much better on you." he replied with confidence.
"Oh I love you Ryan. I don't want this to happen, but I am going to be here no matter what ok?"
"Look, I told you that I'm fine. Now can we just drop this and get re-acquinted with each other?"
"Sure thing babe" Christina replied as they embraced.
The two spent the rest of the day together. Christina heard of other boys having the virus and knew what the end result would be. She admired how brave he was but was concerned with his unrealistic approach. He must still be in denial. He seemed the same looks-wise, but his skin was porceline and felt softer than hers. It reminded her of a babies skin. She made a mental note to not wear any heels when she was around Ryan. He still was an inch taller than her.
That night Ryan took in what had transpired that day. He was different...there was no denying that. He both marveled at and dreaded how quickly he had changed. There was absolutely nothing that he could do to prevent it either. He felt helpless against the changes looming in future and had a restless night. Come on Ryan...keep your head up!
The next day Ryan saw his return to school after his lengthy absence. The word that he had the virus had spread like wildfire and he was confronted by strange looks and snickering by the immature students. He ignored them for the most part and headed to his peer group. That too was an awkward experience.
"Damn Ryan, I heard about the virus man. We are sorry about that. It kind of hit us like a load of bricks when we found out." his friend Rob said.
"Yeah, I mean not you bro. I feel for ya man." another friend chimed in.
"Drop it guys. I'm not talking about this. I'm still the same guy as always." Ryan defended himself.
Although they tried to make him feel welcome and act as if nothing had changed, the air of the group was different. No matter how they attempted to overlook what was happening, his friends could clearly see the differences in Ryan already. Ryan too could feel how uncomfortable the vibe was. Would things at school ever be the same again?
The answer to that question came at the end of the school day when he was summoned to the principal's office. As he entered he saw his mother sitting in the room. His football coach was also there as well as a woman he didn't know.
"Ryan, go ahead and sit down." Pricipal Stevens said, "I asked your mother to join us as well as Tom and Ms. Jacobs."
"What's this about Mr. Stevens?" Ryan asked.
"First of all, we all understand the journey that you are about to take and we are here to be your counsel and support throughout your transition."
"Look Mr. Stevens, I really don't need any of this. I'm fine ok? I just want to live my life like I always have." Ryan countered.
"Ryan, please listen." his mother jumped in.
"Ryan, there are certain rules and guideline that we need to adhere to when someone is found positive. These are rules that are set in place by the state and, by law, we need to follow them. These are put in place to both protect you and also to make your transition as comfortable as possible."
"Okaayyyy" Ryan replied.
"Let me introduce Ms. Jacobs. She instructs a special class for students who have the virus."
"Hello Ryan" Ms. Jacobs said, "Beginning tomorrow you will be attending my classes. There are currently 4 students who are in various stages of transformation..."
"Hold on a second here. I'm not going to go into some new class. I'm great where I'm at and I don't need to be segregated from the everyone else." Ryan interrupted.
"Ryan, this is not optional. You are going to be going through many changes, some of which you have already experienced. This class serves several purposes. We will educate you on how to adapt and thrive as a female and be there for you through your fevers. In addition, this class setting will protect you from those who may not understand what you are going through. It's a cruel world out there sometimes. Once you have fully transitioned, you will be given your "diploma" and you are free to join your regular classes again. Like I said, this is not optional. The state requires this for all those who have the virus." she explained.
Ryan sat in silence. She was going to teach him how to thrive as a female? Holy crap! His heart sunk as everything was becomming that much more real.
"I'm still going to be able to lead the football team though...right?" He asked frantically.
"Ryan, this hurts me more than I can tell ya, but with your condition you're not going to be able to participate any longer." his coach informed.
"Hell no coach! I'm still good man!" Ryan pleaded.
"You already are not the same physically as you were a couple weeks ago Ryan" his principal explained, "as you move foward with your transition you could be seriously hurt"
Ryan didn't know what to say or think. His world was quickly caving in and he felt helpless to stop it. He thought of how great his life was and how much it was going to suck. There was no way he would ever "adapt" to being a girl. "Thrive"? No way! He was a smart kid though. He knew that there was no reasoning with these people. He would go to the stupid classes. He would not be on the football team for now. He was very strong willed and he knew his resolve could do wonders. He would not let this virus take control of him. He would show them all that he could beat this thing. Suddenly he was filled with a new enthusiasm and zest. He would triumph over this virus, and in doing so he would get his old life back and things would be awesome again!
"I understand and I take your counsel and do what you ask of me", Ryan replied to a somewhat shocked room.
The next day Ryan woke up feeling great. His energy had returned and he felt like he could conquer the world. He took a look at himself in the mirror and almost forgot that he was a changed man. He went down for some breakfast and on his way back up his mother pulled him into her bedroom.
"Ryan, how do you feel about attending Ms. Jacob's class today?"
Ryan had decided to keep calm and play this new class as no big deal. He had developed a somewhat convoluted sense of power over his virus and going to some stupid class wasn't going to phase him.
"I'm cool with it mom. Hopefully my classes are easier" he joked.
"Well I don't know about that" his mother teased back, "I bought you something and I'm not sure if its the right time yet but these are for you", she said as she handed him a 6 pack roll of underwear.
"Panties mom?!? really???" Ryan scoffed.
"I figured you might want to get used to wearing them. You may want to slowly ease into this change instead of doing it all at once. I thought that if we start with panties now, it won't be so much of a shock to the system when the next fever hits."
"Mom, there's no way I'm wearing those", he replied as he handed her back the packet, "I think I'm sticking to my normal underwear for now"
What the heck was up with his mom. She was such a freak! Sometimes she just needed to back off and mind her own business. He was deteermined to be a boy no matter...even if he underwear was a size or so too big right now. He didn't care.
Ryan entered his new class which was held in an outside trailer on the school property. There were 3 other kids in there along with Ms. Jacobs.
"Well hello Ryan, welcome" she said with a smile in her voice.
"Hey" he replied.
"Ryan is our new classmate. He has had the first fever and we are thrilled to have him. I'm sure most of you here know him." she introduced.
All three students knew Ryan very well. He was super popular after all. They were all a little shocked that he would have the virus.
"Why don't we all go around the room and tell Ryan a little about ourselves."
"I'm Todd and I've had my second fever. I like to go to the movies, play video games and play soccer."
The first thing that struck Ryan about Todd was his voice. He had a girl's pitch and tone. He sounded like a girl! He seemed very frail as well with almost no muscle tone. He looked like an androgenous boy but that voice was out of control! He was dressed like a boy as well but his clothes looked like the didn't quite fit his body type.
"My name is Eric and I've had my first fever as well. I don't know what I like anymore and frankly I don't care." He stated abruptly.
"Eric is still coming to terms with his change and that's understandable" Ms Jacobs stated.
Eric looked like a regular boy in looks and dress. He was out of shape and quite a bit overweight. Eric looked like the kind of guy that Ryan would pick on with the other jocks.
"I'm Karen and I've had the 3rd fever. I like to read, go to the movies and hang out at the mall." He said.
"Karen is giving her female name a try out. She decided to see how it works out beginning this week." Ms Jacobs stated, "We address 3rd fevers with feminine address."
Karen was insane! He looked like a very feminine boyish type of thing. It was obvious that he was wearing girl's clothing. His jeans had some sparkly design on the legs and his shirt was a Roxy t-shirt under a jacket. Even his sneakers had a light blue sparkly streak on them. Ryan didn't understand how Karen could let himself drift so much. He was practically giving in to being a girl! Dang...even his nails were painted a light rose color!
"So you don't mind wearing girl's clothes and changing your name Karen?" Ryan asked.
"Well it bothers me a little but not nearly as much as it used to. I think I've just gotten used to the changes." Karen replied.
"I think we need to go over the fevers first and foremost Ryan", Ms Jacobs stated.
"You've experienced the first fever which usually involves a shift in size and weight. Skin will soften and muscle tone may diminish. Basically, your hormones have taken a big hit and your testosterone levels have plumetted. Most first fevers feel pretty much like their normal selves.
Once the second fever strikes, you will most likely lose a great deal of muscle mass and more size. Many second fevers experience voice change and a slight shift in mental pathing. In other words, they begin to think more along the line of a female. As you can see with Todd, he has a very androgenous appearance and if he would dress the part, he could pass as a female under many circumstances."
Todd rolled his eyes.
"Once the third fever hits, expect the greatest changes. Mental changes seem to be the major areas of focus. The mental pathing becomes more and more feminine. Karen does not mind being addressed as "she" or as "Karen" because her mind is feminized to that more along the lines of a regular female. Thirds fevers will see a widening of the pelvis to a suitable feminine proportion and may see some breast development."
Ryan looked at Karen to see if he had breasts. He couldn't tell cause he had that jacket on.
"Fourth fever is the final fever and it is the culmination of womanhood. Fourth fevers are 100% female in physical and mental form. Sheila is not here due to the fact that she is currently going through her final fever. You will meet her when she returns." Ms Jacobs stated.
Ryan felt so out of place. How did he get himself into this? He definately did not belong here!
He sat in silence as Ms Jacobs began her classes.
Karen sat right in front of him and he couldn't fanthom that he was not a girl. His hair was shoulder length and scrunchied up in a pony tail. How could this kid let himself fall so far into femininity? He must be pretty weak minded.
Karen removed his jacket and all Ryan could focus on was if this kid had breasts. He couldn't tell though with Karen sitting in front of him.
Well Ms. Jacobs sure made him feel at home with school...she was as boring as any other teacher in the school.
As Ryan's mind drifted he noticed Karen bend foward to stretch. As her tshirt tightened against her back he noticed it. The outline of a bra...Karen was wearing a bra! No freaking way! He tried not to think down on him, but this kid was pretty much succumbing to being a girl. A bra? Really?
As lunch rolled around, Ryan found out a definate perk of being in this class.
Lunch was catered to the room!
"Bon aptetit all", Ms Jacobs cheerfully said as the cart of food was wheeled in.
It was the basic cafeteria lunch food plated up already for them.
"Why do they deliver lunch to us?", Ryan asked Todd.
"We are kept sheltered from the rest of the school as we go through out
transiton. It's supposed to ease our social strain as we go through all of
this.", Todd explained.
Ryan was still thrown off by Todd's feminine voice, but sort of understood why
they would do that. He knew some of the kids in school and realized that they
would have a picnic with kids like Todd.
"So how are you handling the fevers? It's wierd isn't it?", Ryan asked.
"It's crazy! I mean it is scary but I'm not freaking out as much as I originally
thought I would be. It's hard to explain but you kind of get used to the changes
to the point where they seem kind of ok."
"Not me. I'm never going to get used to this. How much have you changed...I
mean, you look pretty girly. Don't take that the wrong way, but I would have a
hard time telling if you were male or female.", Ryan responded.
"No worries. I'm accustomed to talking about it. Well, I used to be 5 foot 10
and weigh 165 pounds and now I'm 5 foot 5 and weigh 125 pounds. I look up to my
younger brother now which is a tad odd. I've lost all of my strength too. That's
one of the biggest things that has struck me. No more pickle jars for me. My
voice, as you can tell, is a girl's pitch also."
"Ummm, what about your thing?", Ryan asked with some embarassment.
"It's smaller...quite a bit smaller...maybe half of what it used to be."
"Dang"
"Like I said, it should bother me, but it doesn't that much. The biggest advice
I can give you is try to accept what is happening and go with it. I've had alot
of anguish over this, but at the end of the day I am going to become a girl.
There's no denying it and there's nothing I can do to change that fact.", Todd
explained.
"Yeah...ok", Ryan replied brushing off that advice as quick as he got it, "Do
you have any breasts?", he asked with a high level of embarassement. He was
asking a boy if he had breasts for crying out loud!
"You sure are full of questions. My chest kind of hurts but there really isn't
anything showing. Ms. Jacobs says that they will start to hurt right before they
start budding so I'm sure something will happen soon."
"Dang", Ryan replied with a loss of words.
"Can I sit with you guys?" Karen asked as she approached the dining area of the
room.
"Sure", Todd replied.
Ryan's eyes went straight to Karen's chest and he couldn't take them off of it.
He had seen Karen's bra straps a few minutes before, and now he saw why she
needed that bra. Protruding from her chest...HER chest (ryan couldn't even get himself to address Karen using him or his due to her feminine appearance) were two definate mounds. Karen had
breasts!
"Yes I have breasts Ryan", Karen joked as she saw how fixated he was on her
chest, "it's amazing how men's eyes are drawn to these things like a homing signal."
"Oh sorry, it's just that you look so much like a girl...I mean...breasts?",
Ryan replied blushing but in disbelief at the same time. He was a guy afterall
and breasts were breasts. He had to careful...he was getting excited about
looking at boobs on a boy.
"It's quite a change isn't it? I wear a b cup now and I think they are getting
bigger. I know you've probably heard it before, but you will get used to the
changes. Are you scared?", Karen asked.
"No, I'm not scared...what would I be scared of?", Ryan answered throwing out
his bravado act.
"Of becomming a girl Ryan. It's happening. How do you feel about it?"
"I don't want to talk about it.", Ryan replied. He felt so confident that he
could beat this thing. This whole idea of "mental remapping" was ludricrous to
him. Physical changes were one thing, but he was strong willed and knew that
sheer determination could do wonders.
"Okay, if you do though, I'm here for ya. You are going to have lots of questions and I suggest you ask away. Don't fret too much though cause the changes are way more frightening during the initial fevers. Once your mind gets accustomed to the transition everyting gets easier to handle."
As Karen spoke, Ryan noticed how she even acted like a girl. She effortlessly exhibited some things that seemed innate in females such as the way she ran her hand through her hair and tucked it behind her ear or how she gently gestured her hands as she verballized her points. She even sat with her legs together with ankles crossed in an umistakably girlish fashion. The way her voice went up and down in volume to accent her thoughts was as well done as any female Ryan had ever heard.
All this stregthened Ryan's belief that these kids were different from him. No amount of physical or mental change could make him that passably feminine in appearance and act. It seemed to him that his classmates had given up and were giving in to whatever was happening. Not so with him. He was never the kind to back down to adversity and was hell bent on not starting now.
"What's up with Eric over there. Why isn't he sitting with us?" Ryan asked.
"He's having a very hard time so far. You should talk to him Ryan. You are both 1st fevers.", Karen replied.
Maybe Eric held more in common with Ryan than he previously thought. He may have an ally in the fight against this change.
"Hey, you mind if I finish my lunch here?" Ryan asked as he approached Eric on the other side if the room.
"Whatever"
"Why aren't you sitting with the rest of the class?"
"Look, I am here cause I have to be. My life sucks and it's getting worse by the minute.", Eric replied.
"So we are both 1st fevers and it sounds like you are about as excited as I am over it. I've got news for all of you. I'm gonna beat this thing. I'm not becomming a girl.", Ryan quietly stated to Eric in a very matter-of-fact tone.
"Oh yeah, and how do you think you're going to do that?", Eric snidely replied.
"Mind over matter. From what I see here, everyone has given in to the change and it seems like the more they give in the more they change. I'm keeping my wall up and will not give in. Through my football experience, I've learned that alot of the success I've had is because I've been able to "will" myself to succeed and excel. I'm tellin you I can beat this."
Eric listened with much interest and although Ryan sounded a little wacky, he did sound extremely confident in his thoughts. It was a bit of a thrill for one of the most popluar kids in school to be paying attention to him as well. Eric was a boy of fullscale geek status afterall.
"I could use another teamate in this battle Eric. What do you say? We could tackle this thing together?", Ryan pleaded.
Eric was amazed at how convincing Ryan was. He didn't buy into it at all but, at the same time, what could it hurt?
"Yeah, that would be cool"
Ryan felt good about how his day at school went and was full of energy as he met Christina at her locker to walk home.
"Hey babe", he said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh hi Ryan. How was your class?"
"It was alright...", Ryan began replying when he was interrupted by a couple of his buddies.
"Whoah dude, Ryan is that you?"
"Yeah, what's up Paul?"
"You're like a miniature version of yourself. Damn, sorry about that bro. You must be like totally bummed.", Paul rudely stated.
"I'm ok I guess. I'm just taking one day at a time.", Ryan replied attemptint to stay positive.
"Well dude, if you need anything just let us know. My cousin had the virus and she is totally happy with herself now. It's wierd though cause we are not close like we used to be. She's like...well, she's like a girl now.", Paul joked as the others laughed.
"Well I'm still one of you so don't worry about us not being buds anymore. We will always be friends.", Ryan replied defensively.
"I'm sure we will but it will be different bro. We're a bunch of dudes and, well...when you become a chick it will be harder to keep that same relationship. You'll be all into makeup and dresses and stuff while we remain...men.", Paul stated point blank.
Ryan shrugged his shoulders acting like it was no big thing. His heart sunk though. He was being ostersized by his buddies.
"Ok, well let's get out of here babe", Ryan stated as he grabbed his girl's hand.
As Ryan pulled Christina away, she glared hatefully at his buddies. How could they be so cruel?
"Are you ok Ryan?", Christina asked as they walked home. He seemed so silent.
"You know something? I'm really pissed off that this is happening. Things were going so well ya know? Now everyone is looking at me different and acting all strange around me. I feel like I'm an outcast. I was one of the most popular guys in school and now look at me.", he griped.
"Look, don't kid yourself Ryan. This is going to be tough for a while, but I will be with you the whole way. There will come a time when you are happy with life again. It may just take a while. You are going through so many things right now, but I know you Ryan. You will come out of this the best way possible.", Christina said in an encouraging tone. She had to stay upbeat even though his change was killing her. He was her love & her life, but it would all be over soon. The boy she was adored was becomming female.
"I guess.", Ryan replied, "So I met a kid in the class today who has had the first fever like me. I told him that I was going to beat this thing and even got him buy into what I was saying. Am I being unrealistic here Christina?", he asked.
"Ryan, look at yourself. You have already changed. You can't deny that sweety. I don't want to be a downer, but I feel like you need a dose of reality here. You are becomming a woman and that's that. It has always been your destiny babe, you just didn't realize it until now. Just try and relax a little and let it happen.", She tried to suggest.
"Yeah, that kind of makes sense I guess.Maybe I'm just panicking.", Ryan replied.
What?!? That makes sense??? No it doesn't! But it kind of did. Ryan grew concerned with how he could suddenly become "ok" with these things happening to him. He was well aware of how adamantly opposed to the changes he was just minutes ago, but how he didn't seem so to mind them so much. Damn. He had to snap out of it.
"Look, can we not talk about this anymore?", Ryan pleaded. Christina changed the subject and they finished their walk home.
The rest of the day actually went ok. Ryan's brother and sister seemed a little awkward around him, but all in all it was life as usual. They didn't run away or anything when he entered the room. His mom spent hours looking up everything there was to know about the virus and she seemed to be very ok and knowledgable with his condition now. She had decided to approach his condition with optimism and open arms.
"Ryan, did you know that the actress Ashley Tysdale had the virus? There are so many women out there that I had no idea have the condition. I saved the link if you wanted to look.", she stated.
"Mom, first of all, I hate those movies that she is in. Did the virus make her a bad actress as well?", he joked. "I may look it up some day, but I'm really not that curious."
"Ok. Well it is there for you when you want it.", She explained.
"How's dad doing?", Ryan asked. He knew his dad was taking this hard, but he wasn't used to getting the cold shoulder.
"He just needs some time Ryan. He loves you very much, but he is having a very hard time dealing with all of this. He will come around sweety.", his mother said with sadness in her voice. She knew how close Ryan was with his father and his sudden absence in Ryan's life could not have come at a worse time. He needed all the support he could right now.
"Where is he?", Ryan asked.
His mother began crying.
"You father has moved out for the time being. I'm so sorry sweety...", she sobbed as she gave Ryan a huge hug.
Ryan was speechless. His dad abandoned not only him, but his entire family?
"He left? Where did he go?", Ryan asked in a stunned manner.
"He has moved in with his cousin Paul. He left this morning. I haven't told your brother and sister yet. Listen though, we are going to be ok. We will be fine baby.", she said in her most convincing voice. She was livid at her husband for how he was behaving, but her main focus right now was her soon to be daughter. She had to make this transition as stress free as possible.
The two hugged and shared a moment, then broke the news to the others.
Ryan settled into his life and classes over the next couple of weeks. He was so accumstomed to his newer self that he seemed to forget about how he used to be.
He hadn't seen his father at all since he left the family. It was tough on his mother which really pissed Ryan off. How could his dad leave her to care for the entire house? It was very selfish of him and Ryan felt alot of anger towards his dad.
Being the determined person he was, Ryan began playing football again. Of course he wasn't allowed on the team any longer, but he took up playing with some of his brother's friends. Sure they were younger and not nearly as good as he was, but he got to kind of be a role model to them which fed his ego a bit. He had to be careful with how rough he was though because the kids were younger and smaller than him. Ryan got too physical a couple days before and made one of his brother's friends cry after he knocked the wind out of him. Eh, it was good for the kid...built some character into him Ryan thought.
Life was ok. It was not perfect, but it was pretty darn good. Ryan kept in the back of head the thought of the next fever. He wondered if just maybe he would stay as he was now. He could live with that, but he feared what the future may bring. Although smaller in stature, he was still all boy and the toughest kid on the block. The thought of losing his maculinity terrified him.
Just as he got comfortable and felt impervious to any health issues, Ryan felt the burning in his eyes. He did not want to tell his mom and hoped that it was just a cold or his allergies coming on. Positive thinking Ryan! Don't let this thing capture you!
The burning in the eyes turned into what felt like a fever. He began waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and would go from sweating to shivering. He refused to tell anyone though until his teacher Ms Jacobs pulled him aside a couple days later.
"Ryan dear, are you feeling ok?", she asked.
"I'm fine...why do you ask?", Ryan replied thinking he was doing a good job hiding his issues.
"Sweety, I've seen the flush look before. I've seen the tired look from lack of sleep several times. I've seen the loss of ability to focus and concentrate, and trust me, it's not from normal teenage boredom. You haven't been feeling right lately have you?", she asked in a concerned tone.
"Not great. I mean I'm ok though...", he replied.
"Ryan, you are going to have the 2nd fever soon. Does your mom know how you are feeling?", she asked.
"Yeah, she knows all about it. I told her already and she thinks the same as you.", he lied. His mom had no idea what he was going through, but he didn't want Ms. Jacobs to tell her.
"Ok, good. I would suggest you stay around the house and take it easy the next week or so until the fever hits. I'll talk to your mom about it."
"Oh that's not necessary. My mom knows more about this than you do. She does not let me go anywhere other than school now.", he lied once more.
Ms. Jacobs was happy with the response and let him be.
Ryan on the other hand was in full panic. The 2nd fever would hit soon? This couldn't be happening! He would not let this get him!
Later that day at home, Ryan felt even worse. His vision blurred for a whole hour which freaked him to the extreme. His mother came in to see how school was and Ryan pretended like he was watching tv and was too busy to chat.
His vision finally cleared, but his condition seemed to be getting progressively worse. His whole body was aching and he felt so terribly weak.
"Dinner time!", he mother yelled through the house.
Crap! Ryan had to attend. Maybe he would feel better with something in his stomach. He worked his way downstairs to the dinner table and plopped down. He was perspiring and felt a cold sweat about his entire body. If he could only get through dinner and get some rest all would be well he hoped.
The family began to enjoy the great spaghetti dinner mom had prepared. His siblings partook in their usual banter and mom added jabs in every so often. Ryan even jumped in a couple times even though he was having a hard time getting through it.
As the dinner went along, the conversation seemed to lose focus to Ryan. The voices drifted into the distance and he could not get his hand to deliver the fork to his mouth. Everything sounded like it was in a distant tunnel and time felt like it was going in slow motion.
"Ryan? Are you ok Ryan?", he could hear it but it sounded so far away. He made an effort to turn his head and look at where his mom was. What seemed like minutes to accomplish, his head finally turned enough to see her. He saw a worried look on her face, but her voice was muffled. Everything was moving sooo slow. He attempted to stand to go lay down. If only he could rest for a minute or two he would snap out of this. The next thing he knew he was looking at the ceiling and his mother's face was staring down at him. He couldn't hear anything but a ringing in his ears. His mom's face looked so terrified. She was full of tears. He tried to lift his body but nothing would repsond. He lay there motionless in the ringing silence.
Suddenly the light began to fade. He blinked several times in panic trying to clear his sight, but it was to no avail. As his mom and siblings looked on, Ryan's vision faded to darkness. He could not feel, hear or see anything...then his conciousness slipped away as well....
The first thing Ryan became aware of was that he was aware. It seemed as if he had regained a train of thought and that his brain started working after a long rest. Everything was jumbled though as he tried to piece together what was going on. Something weighed heavy on him, but he couldn't nail it down. In an effort to clarify his thoughts, he tried to structure what had transpired that would give him that stressed feeling. He thought back about school, his girlfriend...his condition!
Ryan's thoughts instantly organized and his eyes quickly opened. Everything was out focus. He blinked several times to clear his vision and attempted to rub his eyes with his hands. Panic set in as he couldn't move. It was as if his whole body was asleep. His eyes darted back and forth frantically trying to figure out what was going on as he instinctively tried to scream for help. All that came out was a faint, raspy whisper. Determined, Ryan tried to yell out again. He could feel his vocal cords quiver as the volume of his voice increased. "heeellllppp". It was barely audible.
He took a second to concentrate his entire being on his vocal cords and took a deep breath. "HEEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!", he screamed. His voice came out! "HEELLLLPPPP!!!", he yelled again. His voice was very raspy and breaking, but he could speak!
"Ryan! I'm here baby!", he heard his mother's voice. The sound of her was like a gift from heaven.
"What's happening?!?", Ryan asked his mom in a still raspy voice.
"You've had the 2nd fever sweety", she replied as she ran her fingers through his hair attempting to calm him down, "Your feeling will be coming back to your body in a couple minutes. You've been asleep for a while Ryan. The numbeness is a result of that. Just relax."
Ryan did as he was told and just tried to calm his nerves as he closed his eyes. His mind was still foggy and drifted in and out of focus. He could feel his entire body start to tingle. It reminded him of the feeling he got when his arm would fall asleep at night. It felt like a bunch of springy needles pricking him all over whenever he moved. Even with all that discomfort though, he was thrilled because his movement and feeling was returning.
He opened his eyes once more and everything began coming into focus slowly. He could pick up his mom silhouette as well as his brother's and sister's.
"Hey Ryan, welcome back.", his sister warmly stated as she gave him a hug.
"Owwww", he replied. The hug sent needle sensations all over his body.
"Dang, he sounds like a girl", his brother quietly said as his sister gave him an elbow to the side and told him to be quiet.
"Ryan dear, are you ok?, his mom asked.
"I feel like I was hit by a truck...", he stopped. His voice stunned him. He did sound like a girl.
"I know baby, this is all normal though. You body went through some changes and that why you are aching.", his mom replied.
"Mom, I sound like a girl", Ryan said with a shaky voice.
"I know honey. Try not to talk too much. Your voice is very raspy.", she replied not knowing quite what to say, "Take these pain killers. They will help with the soreness."
With his mom's help, Ryan sat up in the bed. His tingling was quickly going away and he could move his body well now. He sipped down the pills with a glass of water. He was so thirsty.
"Yes, go ahead and drink all the water Ryan. We kept you hydrated but I'm sure you are craving a drink.", she tried to joke.
"Mom, everything is still blurred.". Ryan began rubbing his eyes to gain some clarity while freaking out at his wierd voice.
"Your vision will return baby, just give it a couple minutes.", she replied.
"Oh mom...my voice"
"I know...it will take some time to get used to, but it's going to be ok.", she tried to comfort him.
"How long was I asleep?", Ryan asked. His body grew stronger by the second as he sat himself up in bed more firmly.
"5 weeks honey...a long time."
"What?! Oh my gosh mom!", he said in a shocked and very girly tone.
"It's going to take a while for all this to settle in Ryan. You are being overloaded with so much right now. Please just try to relax and let me take care of you.", she pleaded.
Ryan's eyesight was losing its blur. With each passing minute it became that much sharper.
"Where am I?" he asked. The room, although still out of focus, looked alot different than his bedroom. There seemed to be alot more posters on the wall and the color was different. Ryan rubbed his eyes again.
"You're in my room.", his sister replied with aprehension.
"Huh?", he replied. He was in his sister's room?
"Look at the bright side of this, I get my own room now", his brother joked in a most inappropriate way.
"You be quite young man!", his mom scolded, "We moved you in here because it's closer to my room so I could take care of you."
Ryan closed his eyes for a minute and contemplated what was happening. Obviously his mother was trying to soften what was happening. He knew that he was moved into his sister's room because he probably had changed enough that he "fit" into a girl's room more that a boy's. He had to reamin calm although he was shaking from nerves of the unknown. He took a deep breath and open his eyes.
"I can see you guys now.", he stated as his vision cleared, "my voice is so wierd."
"You sound like me now. I think it's an improvement", his sister joked in a sweet way that made the others giggle.
"Yeah, thanks. I have to admit...what am i wearing?", Ryan asked as he just noticed what he was clad in.
"You didn't fit into your pajamas anymore so I put you in these.", his mom aswered with trepidation. Did she screw up?
"No way, mom...really?!? Where did you get these?", he asked. He was shocked that his mom would do this to him.
"They're Kristen's sweety...like I said, your pajamas were swimming on you and I just thought that you may want something more feminine when you woke up. I wasn't sure what to think baby. You can switch clothes if you want."
He was wearing a pair of his sister's pajamas. They were familiar to him as he had seen her wear them a couple times before. They were a light lavendar and white pinstripe print. The shorts were short! To make matters worse, they had a little lace along the waistband and around the leg openings. The top was a tank that once again had lace along the bottom.
He grew embarassed that his brother and sister were looking at him and pulled the covers over himself.
"I'm sorry Ryan, I thought that you might be ok with this.", mom stated. "You two ought to leave please."
Ryan's siblings left the room.
"Please talk to me Ryan. I know this is difficult, but I'm here for you.", his mother pleaded.
"I can't believe you dressed me like this mom. I know what's happening to me, but you should have asked first."
"I know I should have. I wasn't thinking clearly I guess. This is all so new for me too baby. I really screwed up and I'm so sorry.", she apologized.
"Oh mom, I don't know what to think. Do I look different?"
"Yes Ryan. Let me help you over to the mirror.", she answered as she helped her son out of bed and over to his sister's full length mirror.
The two stood in silence as they beheld the changes that occured. He was tiny! The mother he used to look down at was now 3 inches taller than him. He must have been barely over 5 feet now. He looked so small and fragile. Every trace of his muscles were gone and he looked just plain frail. He walked closer to look at his face. He still looked like Ryan, but everything looked younger and more babyish now. His masculine features were gone and he looked more like he did when he was a little boy. His felt his masculinity drain at the sight of such a small, tender body.
Ryan's mom just held her arms on his shoulders as he began to tear up. He couldn't keep his macho act up in the presence of such a drastic change.
"Oh mom...why is this happening to me?!?", he cried out as tears flowed down his pretty face.
"Oh dear, I don't know baby. I don't know what to say. Things will get easier I promise.", she replied as she hugged him deeply.
"I can't wear these clothes mom. I don't want to be a girl. I know my body is changing, but I don't have to dress this way if I don't want to right?"
"No sweety. We will find boy's clothes that fit you. You don't have to do anything you don't want to Ryan.", she tried comforting him.
"I need some time alone mom."
"Are you going to be ok?", she asked with concern.
"Yeah mom, I just need to get my arms around this."
With that, his mom left the room.
Ryan stood in his sister's room alone. His body ached...like he had been hit by a truck. The amount of stress his body must have been under had to have been tremendous. His head, however, was clear now as was his eyesight. He was unconcious for so long! He looked in the full length mirror.
The reflection showed a slight resemblance to the guy he used to know. Girl's pajamas? Really mom? He removed the pajama top and laid it on the floor. Where they were once strong and muscular, his arms were now thin and soft. His torso looked like a little boy's with no tone at all. It was as if puberty had never hit. With all the change however, he was still relieved that he still looked like a boy on top.
He pulled down the pajama bottoms and there they were...panties. His mom actually decided to put him in girl's underpants during his fever. Did his brother and sister know this? He grew embarrassed once again. The very sad thing was that the panties did not look too out of place. Although he wanted them off, he was fearful of what he would see under the soft, delicate fabric. Would his manhood still be there?
Ryan inched off the panties and surveyed the damage. His penis was small. All the magic of puberty that had transformed his best friend into something magnificent had been reversed. It looked like it belonged on a little boy. His heart sunk. This was yet another hit to his maculinty that he was not ready to accept. Ryan reached under to find out how much his balls had shrunk. The hand was met with emptyness and his eyes darted down as he moved his drawfed penis to the side. Everything was gone! His testicles, his ball sack...everything! Ryan grew weak in the knees.
This was too much to take in. He put his hands on his face and slumped over. He had to compose himself or else he was going to lose it. Ryan took a deep breath and re-assessed what was happening. No balls meant no testosterone right?
A knock came.
"Ryan, I brought some boy's clothes", his mom stated.
Ryan quickly threw on the pajamas and answered the door.
"I grabbed some of your brother's clothes. They will fit you better ok?"
"Ok", Ryan answered quietly.
"Are you ok sweety?"
"I'm alright. This is really shocking to me", he replied in a very feminine voice.
"I know. Its something that we all need to get used to, but we are all here for you.", she stated in a very warm way.
"Thanks mom. I'm gonna change."
The clothes were his brother's who was 3 years his junior and yet they were a little big on him. Ryan felt good to be in male garbs regardless.
He walked closer to the mirror to observe his face. He was a softer looking version of himself. His eyes seemed bigger although his face looked smaller. His complexion was flawless and almost porcelain-like. He touched his cheek. The skin felt like his girlfriend's. It was so soft, smooth and the pores were microscopic. He worried about what his girlfriend would think of him now. Could he still make her happy or would she want something more?
Ryan headed out of the room to face his family once again. He knew the best way to deal with what was happening was head on. That's the way he had always approached life and he wasn't about to change now.
"Hey guys", Ryan announced in his female tone as he walked into the family room. His mom, brother and sister were all sitting there almost waiting on him to enter.
"Hi sweety. We are all happy to have you back.", his mom said with a smile.
"Yeah Ryan, it just wasn't the same without you.", sister added.
"Dude, sorry bro but you look wierd and you sound totally like a chick", his brother quipped.
"Jimmy! Don't you dare do this!", mom scolded.
"It's ok mom...really.", Ryan replied, "I know I look different and I'm not going to act like I don't. My voice is totally tripping me out as well and I know that all of you are thinking the same thing. Jimmy, even though he is a little punk, is the only one who is voicing it. So ask away so that we can get over this uncomfortableness and get on with our lives."
"Ok, I have one then.", his sister stated, "do you feel different? I mean, do you feel more feminine or anything?"
"No way. I'm still the same Ryan as always inside. I know I look different, but nothing is going to change who I am at the core.", Ryan replied.
"We would expect nothing less from you", his mom said as she patted him on the back.
"Do you have tits yet?", little brother added with a jab.
"I can still whup your butt little bro so you better be careful with what you say.", Ryan joked, "and no...I don't have anything there."
The Q&A went on for a while as the mood grew lighter and lighter. Ryan was relieved. He hated being fussed over and the sooner things could just be "normal" the better.
The tension and uncomfortable feelings dissapated as the day went on. Ryan felt a little ambivalent about what was happening to him. He knew that his last change was pretty dramatic, but he felt a sense of calm about it. He attributed it to his resiliance to remain true to himself no matter what changes occured physically to his body. He was in charge here...not the virus.
The "dad" issue came up and mom explained to Ryan that his father did not want to be part of the process. Ryan listened in disbelief as she sided with her husband stating that he was a good father who was just going through this very roughly. He held harse feelings for his dad for not only avoiding him, but also for neglecting his other children. How could he just up and walk away from everything? There was no resolve in their opinion of how this was being handled from the absent dad.
"You really should call Christina. She's been checking in on you baby.", his mom stated.
"She didn't see me in girl's pajamas did she? Please tell me she didn't mom."
"Honey, she doesn't care...she loves you regardless.", his mom replied trying to soften the situation.
"Dang it mom! Please don't embarass me like that again.", he quipped and grabbed his cell phone walking into the other room.
He gave his girl Christina a ring
"Hello?", she replied seeing that it was Ryan's cell phone.
"Hi...so what's new?", he replied trying to use some of his wit to make her laugh after his long absence.
"Hiya Kristen. I'm fine. How is Ryan doing?", she replied.
Ryan grew silent. His girlfriend thought she was talking to his sister. His voice was female now. How did he space that? It was almost as if he had forgotten that he was speaking in a feminine tone now.
"Kristen? Hello?", she asked as she heard the silence on the other end.
"Hey babe, it's not Kristen...it's Ryan. My voice sounds a little different now I guess.", he replied trying to contain his embarassment.
"Oh my gosh Ryan, I'm so sorry. I honestly did not mean that...you're awake! How are you??? I want to come over!", she said with great excitement.
"Uh yeah, come over. It'll be good to see you. Be prepared though babe. I look kind of different now.", Ryan warned her.
"I'm on my way sugar!"
Ryan anxiously awaited his girlfriend's arrival with excitement and nervousness. What if she was turned off by his current state? Could he still make her happy?
He nervously answered the door when the knock came.
"Hiiiiii", Christina said with excitement as she gave her boyfriend a hug. She put on a brave face as well as she could considering just how much he had changed.
"Wow, you look a little bigger now", Ryan joked. His girlfriend was now a couple inches taller than he.
"Ummm yeah, I've been eating my wheaties", she jokingly replied.
The two headed up to his room for some privacy. He had already told his brother that his room remained his and no one was kicking him out.
"Wow Ryan, you went through alot of changes", Christina stated. She beheld a very androgenous looking boy. The muscled, masculine guy she had as a boyfriend had drastically faded. The voice was that of a girl's and the body looked to be following suit.
"I know. It's a trip. I can't make my voice sound like it used to no matter how hard I try.", he replied in a feminine tone.
"Well I do have to say that you look cute. It's a different kind of cute, but cute nonetheless", she stated trying to downplay the differences.
"I will take that as a compliment I guess. What choice do I have?", He replied with a witty respone.
"Yeah, it is what is it isn't it?" Christina tried not to stare but she was looking at an amazing transformation taking place.
"Look, it's ok if you want to space yourself from me. I totally understand. Obviously I don't look like the guy you fell in love with so there's no hard feelings alright?", Ryan stated point blank feeling a tad sorry for himself.
"Okay, listen right her Ryan because you are really pissing me off", she replied with sterness, "I really don't care what you look like or how your body has changed, I love what's inside. That's what I fell in love with and you will not get rid of me so easy babe. I'm with you through thick and thin with no exception."
"Wow...that was deep", he stated with a slightly shocked look on his face. His girlfriend was amazing!
"Not deep Ryan, it's just how I feel. I care about you more than words can express and I will be your rock and support through this."
"You are the most incredible girlfriend any guy could ever ask for", Ryan replied as the two embraced.
Ryan noticed how different hugging his girlfriend felt now. He used to engulf her and she used to feel so small in his arms. Now, however, she felt big to him. It was strange.
Christina too was aware of just how Ryan's form had changed. She now looked down instead of up on him and hugging him was similar to hugging one of her girlfriends minus the breasts of course. She found herself keeping her embrace light fearing she would hurt his delicate body.
Even with the changes though, the magic was still lingering. The hug led into their eyes coming together which led to their lips meeting. They both were surprised that they still felt sparks. Physical changes be damned, this was love! They spent what seemed like a small eternity rubbing against each other and kissing passionately.
"Wow, you still got it babe", Christina complimented her man.
"Yeah, you do it for me like no other.", he replied. He noticed something that concerned him greatly though. Whenever he had any physical contact with her before, his penis would go crazy hard on him. This time there was...nothing. Not even a stir down there.
"You ok Ryan? You look like you are in deep thought?", she asked noticing how he became suddenly quiet and distant.
"I don't think I work anymore down there."
"It's still there right?"
"Yeah, but it didn't get hard or anything."
"Do you want me to try and make something happen?", she offered feeling so incredibly sorry for him. That much be such a hard blow for a guy.
"I don't know. It's like its dead."
With that, Christina walked over to his door and locked it. She then sat next to him on the bed, unzipped his pants and pulled his penis out. It was small. It was really, really small. She hoped that she could get it going.
"Kind of pathetic isn't it?", Ryan said with despair.
"Let's see if I can do something about that baby", she replied as she began massaging it with her hands. She knew how to excite Ryan & was hoping her charms still worked. Although they had never had true sex, they did do just about everything else and had planned on doing the final act at prom. She feared that it would never happen now.
As she stroked his penis, she tried to brush off the fact that she no longer saw any balls. He was missing the things that made him a man. No wonder he couldn't get hard. Christina was determined though and it seemed to be somewhat working. His penis did get slightly larger and the look on Ryan's face made it clear that he was enjoying this. She worked his penis faster and it got harder but still had some limpness to it. She leaned over and began kissing him as she rubbed his penis tip. Suddenly Ryan tensed up and his hips raised. He let out a moan and she grew elated. She made him orgasm!
Her hand was dry though? Both of them looked down at...nothing.
"What the heck? I totally orgasmed but nothing came out Christina. There's nothing in there anymore is there?, Ryan said with panic in his voice.
"Sweety, your balls are gone. The balls are what produce the sperm. I thinks that's why nothing came out.", she replied trying to just be honest with him, "Look at the bright side though, you came at least babe"
"Yeah, I guess so. That did feel pretty damn good.", he stated trying to brush off his distress.
"I've got some skillz baby...dontcha forget it", she teased as they both shared a laugh.
