I've known I was trans since I was about 5, which left me an outcast among my peers (sound familiar?).
I'm a bit high on the richter... no, fujitta... No, that's not right either... Oh yeah! IQ scale! This made me even more of an outcast (went to special classes for the "gifted", thus separating me even farther from my peers), then I did the horrible! Instead of being a jock, I was a musician! Horror of horrors!
I was raised in a Christian home, and have always counted on my faith and my God to help me through the problems that I've faced being trans. I didn't tell my parents I was trans until the end of 2019, the year I turned 50.
I went to college in the late 80's and early '90s, earning a degree in theology with a major in music. I have conducted many choirs and orchestras, and I even compose music. I play about 25 instruments. Unfortunately, jack of all trades, master of none.
If you PM me, you may find that being slightly autistic, what I say might come off a bit different than I would have intended it, and for that I apologize.
