When Wasps Make Honey, the sequel to Wine Can't be Pressed into Grapes, is now available from Amazon in Kindle Format
and from Smashwords in EPUB format. This novel follows the continuing adventures of Kazmina and Launuru as Kazmina secretly rescues slaves from various estates and Launuru is drafted as an acolyte of Kensaulan, the god of the dead. Psavian and Znembalan play larger roles here than in the first book, and there are many new characters, several of whom get transformed in interesting ways.

It's 204,000 words, more than twice as long as the first book.

Wine Can't be Pressed into Grapes is also now available from Amazon
and Smashwords. It will continue to be available for free here on BigCloset, but the Kindle and EPUB editions have a map, a Cast of Characters, and some other supplementary material that is not in the free serial version.

If you enjoyed reading the free serial version, I would appreciate it if you also left a review of it on Amazon and/or Smashwords.

Great news!

Are there any paperback editions of your books?

Paperback and PDF at Lulu

Wine Can't be Pressed Into Grapes is available in paperback from lulu.com. However, it has sold only four copies (in almost two years) in PDF format from Lulu, and zero copies in paperback. So for the present I am not planning to do a paperback edition of When Wasps Make Honey, or to revise the lulu.com edition of Wine Can't be Pressed Into Grapes with the new material I added to the Kindle and EPUB editions. The reformatting necessary to the new edition would be a lot of work for little or no money. (The same may turn out to be true of the Kindle and Smashwords editions, but anecdotally other people have had better experiences selling books on the Kindle Store than Lulu.)

Question for the site administrators: would it be licit to post one or more largish excerpts from When Wasps Make Honey here, if I have no intention of posting the whole novel here any time soon?
