Stormy weather

The sun might be shining at the moment but its still windy and rain is coming through after yesterdays storms.

The result has been a curb on my two wheeled activity, well that and not feeling 100%.

I did go riding on Thursday, @ 90 miles on a glorious day even if it was a little cool. Down into Wiltshire and up onto Salisbury Plain meant a 1200m climb count before heading back through Bath to Brizzle. I wasn't late back, @ 16 but the light was already going despite being a bright sunny day.

I'm now just one ride away from my 16000km year target and a further ride from completing 10000 miles, the plan was to complete the first this weekend, the second on Tuesday but the weather has put the kybosh on that. Instead it should go down on Tuesday/Thursday, the forecast looks good and my iffy stomach should be sorted by then.

The downtime isn't going to waste, I had a full on writing session yesterday and my muse has plans for the next couple of days too.

There's new Gaby up, No Through Road has the bike gang doing something a bit different up in the Eifel.

That's it for now,

Wiedersehn,
Madeline Anafrid

Squalls and Sunshine

has been the weather here today. Not good for doing anything outside.
Like you I have been writing. Close on 3K words in the can. The same yesterday.

You may well get to both your targets this week. Monday and Wednesday look fairly decent over here.
Good luck for the remaining miles/km.

Samantha.

Good outlook for the mileage

Podracer's picture

and the words are running along too; can't be bad :)
Not so many miles here of course, but still putting some wear on the tyres.

"Reach for the sun."
