This is of course in reference to Bike 2135.

Ladies, I know that this chapter elicited some strong emotion, but projecting your emotions onto another person is dysfunctional, especially by those who should know better.

Yes, this T culture is at times a "Hard knock life", but it should not make us attack one of our own.

I did not fail to notice that none of the offending, hostile posts have been removed, but if I do something hostile, I get punished right away. Some of you should know better than to attack an author !

Yes, bad psychology does happen, but we survive any way.

Um, I was wrong.

And, thank you Erin. I am quite happy to be proved wrong by you. I do see that the offensive posts about Bike have been removed.

Much peace

Be nice. It is most important.

The authors here are kind enough to give of their time and their talents. They don't even get paid for it. Ang has done too good a job for so very long (over five years). I like her work. I don't always agree but then I don't have to. I say something nice when I can think of something someone else hasn't already said. I don't want to be redundant. Just remember psychology and economics are the most inexact sciences known to man. Much of it is right and wrong at the same time.

Thanks,

Much Love,

No argument that an author gives an incredible amount

of effort to his/her craft and Ang certainly has been incredible about it.

But the issues brought up are like the third rail of the m->f trans experience which took forever for us to get over. The author has this very high soap box upon which they can say what they please and what is being implied here is that only plaudits are allowed for a character's behavior sometimes very important POV but no disagreements may be made about it?

Disagreements can be made in a more constructive manner I am sure but the fact that it evokes passion should only be an indication of how valued the work is. It is those works who people don't comment on or get very bland comments that really do an author a disservice.

I apologize for any hurt feelings involved as I was critical of the characters POVs in this episode, it could have been made in a more constructive manner or I should just stop reading it.

I was hurt by the comments

Angharad's picture

but I hope you don't stop reading my stuff because like many others I do value your opinion and you are one of the more regular contributors to comments, for which thanks.

I have a sick cat at present, which is not helping my resilience.
