The Reality of Existence

The reality of existence
By Erin Amelia Fletcher

Life & the ripples of a stormy sea
Thunderous sparks of threatening might
Enforcing submission that heightens our intuition

Fate that hugs to the stars mysterious insight
Destiny that clings which can not be fled
Fought to accomplish & denied so as not to contend

Lacking our own patience
Strategic beyond our mortal depths
Playing us all like marionettes

Pain that either strengthens or breaks us all
Hope is always sought, but more often then not is locked in its box
Forever, the pain grows & hope bound to wither hidden alone

You can never trust that life will be a pleasant stroll
Though you can be certain that, that there are no ends to its depravity
It that beacons to plague our lives with sadistic creativity

Masked is our lives in questionable humility
Wrathful in its growing storm
Wishing, in this life I had never been born

To hurt oneself, to claim self control
To regain the power to manage your own existence
Manipulated from the sanity of what was legitimacy

The ones that reacts to life with a malicious glee
Causing many to suffer, the stolen power, never to question or refuse
Narccistic integrity, to challenge is futile.

Why breed into the life
When pain is the misery of our existence
To only suffocate, breathing in the dark realities

Always the thoughts to sacrifice oneself
Just to cope, in the hopes of solving the unsolvable reality
Engraving our lives without empathy like a branding iron

Hopelessness is lived night & day, though Sometimes the storm clouds lift
Like the majesticness in our slumber under a moons kiss
The stars innumerable in the universe, always foreseen but never regretable

The Sun is truth that can come to light
The Moon tries to help, so finally we can escape our plights

Really Great!

Makes me and us all think and deeply. Intense descriptive words and phases batter our brains and emotions. I react to the described suffering, ugliness, vanity and cruelty; people and the powers of nature intent to rack destruction. The larger question is raised of how do we survive these enormous and untrustworthy forces, why should we have to? can't we avoid them? Then it stops! The storm breaks and we have some relief.
Very fine work. Thank You so much.

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee
