Working for Lioness Investments
I’m Elliot Sanders and I’ve been working for my Aunt Jennifer’s investment firm that caters to women entrepreneurs and their companies for some seven years. Many women complain about breaking a glass ceiling and I have a glass ceiling of my own within a female-dominated company. I am the only male college graduate in this finance firm. I do research and support work for the woman associates but only recently, after six years, have I been able to work with clients to explain the obvious. I have always been considered second fiddle to the fourteen associates of my Aunt Ms. Jennifer Atwood, and her two Partners.
Today I’ve been called to meet with my Aunt Jennifer, though I’m not to acknowledge her as an aunt or that we’re related. It is not a secret rather just good business etiquette not to mention it.
Jennifer Attwood welcomes me, “Hello Elliot, I am glad you came promptly, as I have an assignment that I am considering you for. I will explain the assignment, and then I will want to know if you think you interested and ready to break my rose color ceiling, as you call it." I was embarrassed that she knew I said anything like that.
She says, “Yes, I know you have been working here seven years feeling ‘you have been overlooked. Locked away doing our research and grunt work’, is that not how you term it? I even know you received your MBA four years ago.
“Yet it has only been in the past year that you’ve grasped Lioness Investments is more than finance, investments, and the so-called bottom line. I have become more than aware of your good work for us. But I have also been given you some allowances that I might not have put up with others in expressing your burdens.
“I commend you for the growth I’ve seen in the past fourteen months. You have improved your understanding of the various mindsets women bring to their investments and their companies. They are their regular business practices and much more.
She asks, “What can you tell me about Sophia’s Earth Oils including its name and its logo of a lioness?”
Elliot with abnormal humility, says, “Let me first say thanks, Ms. Atwood.
“Sophia’s Earth Oils comes by its name because ‘Sophia’ is the Greek Goddess of Wisdom; Sophia is also the name of her daughter. ‘Earth’ denotes their products are natural elements and oils. They have the lioness’s share of such products in the liquid aromatic form of healthy oils. I would need to sharpen up more on their business and the primary owner Ms. Marjorie Alicia Lourdes. She is an accomplished chemist by her studies and work. More recently in the past decade has developed her own company of healing oils and fragrance therapy. Her daughter Sophie has become the administrator of their spin-off division of women's commercial fragrances. Those are used for social and pleasure.”
“They’re celebrating that their net worth is over fifty million dollars and have nearly twelve million in annual revenue from the sales of their products alone. Ms. Lourdes thinks she’s a major client of ours and very proud of her accomplishments. She thinks that because you project that she and her corporation are so important to us. Yes, Sophia’s Earth Oils will continue to grow, outpacing the norms for their industry. But they’re not one of our major clients.”
My aunt is pleased, “Yes Elliot, she is one of our moderate size clients yet we value them to remain and grow even more as an important client. Presently her company is very good and is emerging and growing its marketplace. You’re correct that in five to seven years; I anticipate they will be five to ten times larger than Sophia’s Earth Oils are present. If they’re successful in continuing to increase their sales; I anticipate their revenue will grow closer to seventy to a hundred million dollars annually. She will also have income from companies utilizing techniques and products that she has the licensing rights to. We are developing a long-term relationship with this emerging corporation. Marjorie and Sophia embody the spirit of what we are all about. We should be proud to serve them.
“I would be pleased for you if she and her corporation would warmly receive you like our new representative for them. If that would happen you will break the so-called rose-colored ceiling. I would appreciate that be the last time I hear of a rose-colored glass ceiling as well as my being your Aunt. Allowances of your indiscretions in the past have come to an end. That is if you desire to become an Associate at Lioness Investment Futures. You are gifted and could do so, but you can also decide to stay where you are or move along. Please know, you are not being given this opportunity because of your being blood-related.”
I ask as she stopped speaking, “Ms. Attwood, when will there be a decision pertaining me to having Sophia’s Earth Oils, Inc. as a client. How long do I get to study up on them more thoroughly? You spoke about meeting with them next week but when would you really be expecting me to begin working and meet with them?”
Jennifer Attwood says, “Did I not indicate at the end of this discussion, I would want you to speak up and decide? I would like to know your interest and if you think you are ready for this assignment. I am at the end of that part of the discussion.”
“They are used to working with women from our firm and Sophia Lourdes being your junior in age, will in many ways be your equal and a boss. And I will not be surprised if Marjorie will test your commitment and qualifications for serving them and their corporation.”
“Now then what is your response? Katherine Bode would be the Associate whom you are to go with future questions. You would be given the remainder of this week to become familiar with Ms. Lourdes' portfolio and the detailed information on their company. You would hopefully seek an audience with her as early as Monday and no later than Tuesday.”
‘I feel like she is offering me to be thrown out into the deep to sink or swim. I would like to know more information. They have been Katherine Bode’s client. The growth of our company is forecasted to require two new Associates this year. Would I be considered for the next opportunity if I decline this one? I am pretty certain I would damage my career here by saying no or even saying I’m respectfully declining on this opportunity.’
I summon up my courage and a joyful smile to say, “Yes, Ms. Attwood, I am both interested and fully ready to take on the responsibility of serving our clients Ms. Lourdes and Sophia’s Earth Oils. Do you know if Katherine Bode is free to meet with me after this meeting? I would like to gain access to the files and have her brief me as soon as possible.”
Jennifer Atwood says, “I will be taking you to lunch at noon and I will be the one to prepare you for your client. Katherine hopefully will be free to meet with us by 2:00 p.m. at the latest. I suspect you will wear our slacks and wear a narrow blue satin tie instead of our scarf. I consider the blue, as well as the black two-inch heels, appropriate attire for a metro male. Are you comfortable with that?”
I have previously skimmed the edge of company standards and expected them to change it for me if I ever became an Associate. Hopefully, this is just a test of my commitment. That the requirements, once I’m an Associate, will be modified significantly. “I am willing to abide by the requirements for now.”
Jennifer says, “How you deal with your hair is your concern, just make sure it is clean and you are well-groomed. You should be able to get to our clothier and be back to meet with me for lunch.”
Our clothier has previously modified my clothes to be more male than unisex appropriate. My black and my blue slip-on shoes have barely had an inch and quarter heels. Though for one dinner with clients I did wear shoes with the two-inch heel.
I immediately inform my sector that I am meeting CEO Attwood for lunch and needing to get to the clothiers. Peg and Hope of our unit both greet me with hugs, saying they’re happy for me and will miss me.
Connie, the chief seamstress, and manager, of Professional Clothier’s, is ready for me on the second floor of our building. They had solely been a part of our company. Now owned and operated by Connie, for professional women and metro males in the corporate world. They have a handful of employees.
Connie always has projects that she’s working on; this is the first time she drops her other work to focus on me. It is minor in the scheme of life, but it holds some status for me that she is willing to do so. I go with the blue mule type unisex shoes and knee-high socks that go with them. The pant legs are usually to be straight but I see a slight flare in two pairs along with two straight leg pairs that she is offering me. The dress shirts are light blue or shimmering white satin. She says, she will begin to carry pastel yellow and peach this week with other colors that I might want in the near future.
I have seen the metro look in the city as a growing fashion trend though by no means a major one. Already working in a dominantly female company, I have personally stayed away from the look. Connie helps me to develop a sweep of my hair across my forehead by brushing it in the opposite direction. I get camisole style undershirts and satin boy shorts with thin waistbands. The so-called sports coat has rounded shoulders, not the stiff pads, and narrower lapels. I’m to have a metro style brief/purse case with a shoulder strap along with a slim handle.
While all this is going on, a new Samsung phone is being loaded with all my information. I am to come back tomorrow to get more questions answered. I might need everything to be explained and run through as she is several steps ahead of where I am. I’m told the Associates can even access their company accounts while maintaining needed security requirements.
I get back to my work area only to be shooed off and up to the next floor. I am sure I will be in at the end in office 7019 or 7020, maybe I'll even get a glorified closet until I prove myself. Surprisingly instead I am taken to office suite 7015 instead.
Dottie Jones an experienced office assistant was brought to this section from my floor a year ago. She introduces herself as my Office Assistant. She meets with me long enough to send me to the ninth floor to go with Jennifer Attwood to lunch.
The restaurant that we go to is geared for the executives, trustees, and board of directors kind of people. Several executives take notice that Jennifer is either hosting a new client or preparing to bring on a male associate. More than a few are taking notice.
She says, “You may call me Jennifer here unless it becomes appropriate to do otherwise.” If someone were to come over and talk with Jennifer, it may be proper for me to address her as Ms. Atwood during that time. "You look good for one of our future Associates; relaxing in your new look is just a matter of time and mind over matter. …Was the sweep of your hair across the front Connie’s doing or your idea? …You do know there is makeup appropriate for men.”
Jennifer orders wine for the two of us; despite knowing the fact that I do not regularly drink wine. The wine is brought to us along with bread and cheese. She orders a fancy chicken sandwich and a green salad. I order the sandwich but a pasta salad. I know that this is all part of my boss observing me. Sipping the wine instead of drinking it down. Taking a piece of bread and a piece of cheese is an appetizer; seeking to finish the whole loaf and all the cheese would be to make a meal of it.
The sandwiches are modest in size as are the salads, while the prices are more expensive than my expense limit presently likes. It is the privacy and calm that allows for good conversation that we are in part paying for. The chicken sandwich is very good. I could have enjoyed more of it. I’m given a portfolio that I’m to glance at without losing my focus on Jennifer. “Ms. Marjorie Lourdes is likely to assume things about you working for us. How you deal with that without losing us a client will be up to you?”
I ask, “How might she assume things that I might become uncomfortable with?”
Her smile indicates she has some thoughts about it, but she says, “I do not like to guess or put words that may not be there. She is a very good executive and I’m sure she will observe you in her own way to her liking. She’ll want to know you’re a good filly that can go the distance with her and her company. Your primary task is to be her personal finance planner and investment officer if she so chooses to accept you. She has already acquired a sizeable sum. That is much higher than the value of her ownership of the corporation. You are to keep her personal wealth separate and secure from her involvement in the corporation. Do you understand that?
“She and many of our clients have interests far above the bottom line of what they may earn from their company. You are to listen and observe, learning what you need to know to personally serve her. If you become involved in helping her daughter Sophia that should be considered a separate account and again secured away from her mother’s wealth as well as separate from her business holdings.”
I do not realize that I am doing anything different until Katherine comes, and Jennifer says, “Elliot has been unusually good for him.” She realizes I am not sure of what she’s talking about. Elle has listened, entered notes onto his tablet and the few questions have all been good.”
Once Katherine is seated we order a dessert and coffee and continue as they’re bringing me on board with the Lourdes accounts. Katherine comments asking me, “Are you comfortable with your new position and look as an Associate?”
“I’m not an associate yet. Ms. Atwood says I should consider some makeup for us guys.” Katherine’s facial expression and body language indicate she is impressed with my demure response. It is after two-thirty when we are done and I am excused by Ms. Atwood for the day.
I get back to the floor and review some information. I could consider it the end of my workday, but that would be unwise.
Once we’re back to our offices, I head inside going to set up my office. I ask my Assistant Dottie Jones, “Dot, do you have any helpful ideas in my setting up my office?”
She says, “If possible, we should configure your computer to suit you but also to work with the general programs used by the other Associates. That would be of great benefit to you. You need to know that I don’t do any of that unless you approve. You are expected to make as many decisions on your own as possible. I know you regularly have checked and double-checked decisions with others before. This will be a major change for you. The Lourdes will not be happy or patient with you; if you cannot make decisions they’ll ask of you.”
"Oh, by the way, you may want to be calling me Ms. Jones, as you are now my boss."
She says, “I am told Ms. Sophie Lourdes is a very attractive young woman. You’d do well if you could envision a baloney sandwich when you look at her. Yet you will need to remember she and others see her for the beauty that she has.”
“The last thing I will say is you look very good, but you need to relax in your new skin.” True to her word she becomes quiet.
“Dottie, I need Ms. Marjorie Lourdes' account file, and I want you to highlight important information about Sophia’s Earth Oils so we can discuss it late tomorrow morning. I’d would like a cup of coffee and for us to have hot coffee available in my office during the day.” Shortly after I sit at my desk, Ms. Jones enters my office with the files I’m wanting.
I am restless as I feel like I’m dressed in women’s attire, be it metro male or unisex attire aside. The few calls I get the rest of the day are mostly congratulatory from inside the business. Ms. Jones stays until 5:20 pm. and that she is taking part of her work home with her. I leave some twenty minutes after that also taking work home with me.
I forgot about, my girlfriend, Bonnie being at my apartment when I get there. I also forgot what I was wearing. Bonnie grins saying, “I take it that congratulations are for a promotion. I kind of like the new look; though it’s something we’ll both need to get used to.”
Bonnie comes over giving me a kiss and a hug; then pushing herself back away from me. She touches my chest; she undoes one, two buttons, and touches inside my shirt. It is only when I check that I realize my camisole style undershirt is extra thick in the front. I am about to get angry and blow-up when Bonnie first puts a finger to my lips and then gives me a kiss. We help the other undress down to my satin underpants and camisole and her bra and panties.
Bonnie is in control as we just have a beautiful time being there for one another. Our legs straddle one another as we find some pleasure in a modest movement of our bodies against one another.
I had fallen asleep, for a short nap. I awake to the smell of soup permeating the house and Bonnie waiting at the end of the bed with her robe. She is dressed and the robe is for me. I had not realized until I slip it on that it snugly fits.

Better But Not Comfortable
Despite having a master’s degree and working there over seven years…
He’s been kept an ordinary research and finance person…
Now He’s to be the first male Associate…
The men of this company are required to wear unisex clothing.
=^_^=
After dinner, it is the first time, I remember Bonnie sitting quietly with me as I do my business reading. She does her own research, “This woman, Ms. Lourdes is very accomplished; if she’s going to be your client I’m impressed.”
I agree as I read what she’s done and the past corporations that she has worked for. There were six years people actually worked to discredit her work. Though it was mostly by those corporations that have grown using her work to help build their fortunes. Contrary to others, Marjorie was not satisfied with a so-so paycheck or bonuses from them. What she knew should help people which is why she became a chemist. She married Thomas Lourdes and technically they’re still married and get together now and then. Daughters Sophie and Rachel live with or close by their mother. Thomas, Jr. is what they call a surprise baby and is now only twelve years old.
Young Tom, like his father, works hard to show he’s a boy in the traditional sense. Marjorie Lourdes likes and encourages Tom’s strong male image. She does prevail in that he’s a healthy male who has high regard for life and respects others, especially women.
Marjorie Lourdes had her name on the patents of her earlier research that allows her now to use them as building blocks for current research and development without paying her prior employers for their use. While her corporation hires many women, they make up some seventy-five percent of its workforce. The fact that some of its scientists, management and product development and salespeople are men, gives some comfort to me as Elliot.
I could have continued to read, but I have a seven o’clock office time and new clothes to wear. I shower and we go to bed as Bonnie suggests. Bonnie is up with me, come five in the morning. The clean camisole undershirt also has the padded area for the front of my chest. Bonnie asks, “What are you going to do? You could either wear a regular undershirt or try one of my camis that are white and plain.”
“It didn’t hurt me yesterday and it didn’t really show. I’ll wear this one that I bought yesterday.”
Bonnie says, “Good, I think it will make your front look nice and neat. Your waist actually looks better to me.” She asks, “Did you know your satin panties have shields?”
“I think that is to protect your clothes from dribbling pee. It kind of makes sense for what the underpants probably cost.” I hadn’t really noticed.
It is when I put on the shirt and slacks that I really notice the flat part that Bonnie mentioned. I don’t say anything but my waist actually appears narrower in relation to my chest.
I forgot the socks, so Bonnie shows me with the first one how to roll it up and put it on. The socks have no trouble moving up to my knee. I ask and she tells me by pulling them up as she did, that it helps them not to ride down over my calf during the day. She has a pair of mules that she says I should try. They’re actually a size too big for her. She had not sent them back yet. I like better how they look, reminding me of a square toe pair of shoes I use to have. Like the shoes I bought, they have the two-inch heel. I wear them for now but will change out of them before I go to work.
The area around my eyes is dark from too little rest and my face has blemishes. Bonnie says, “You really should stop at a good cosmetic place and get someone to help you select and use the male makeup that’s right for you.” I look at her like she has to be kidding me. She says, “It’s up to you, but if it is done right I don’t think even you or I would notice you have makeup on.”
I know that I often have found that true for Bonnie. I don’t say anything nor do I commit to stopping someplace. I eat a small bowl of cereal with fruit that Bonnie fixes for each of us. I’ve brushed my teeth again and check my hair. It’s holding as Bonnie fixed it. She lightly sprays one of my colognes as she has me walk through it. I really like how light the scent is. I grab my sports coat and hurry out the door. I’m tired of the fussing and pleased with how I look. Bonnie catches me at the car, “You’ll need this and your keys. It has a narrow wallet with your cards and money as well. I’m sorry if you think I’m pushing you.” It is my small satchel with a long strap.
I close my eyes, collect my composure, “Thanks, I think I will get the routine, it’s just all new. I really appreciate your help.” We share a kiss and I like the feel of her lips.
I knew I rushed too quickly out of the house as I arrive inside our company twenty minutes before seven. I needed to use my keycard to get inside. My clicking heels must sound different as Katherine and Diane both check whose in the hall. Katherine comes out to greet me and walks with me to my office.
She says, “I’m surprised how well you look today and you are cooperating with the dress code and even being creative.” I’m wondering about the creative part until she mentions liking the shoes. I had not even noticed but I had not changed out of Bonnie’s shoes.
Katherine helps me sharing quick codes for each Associate, such as Diane is 3C and Katherine’s 4G. When she tells me other names like Betsy 1C. I realize I have never met, knew, or communicated with some like Betsy. Veronica is R2 as one of the partners.” I have met her and done some of her work. I thought Caroline was a partner, not an Associate. Katherine tells me, Hannah Dirks, a person I will meet soon is H1. Caroline is 3B. Sophie Connors is SC3 is a partner which makes sense. But I find out that is not public knowledge. Her ownership presently is only associated with her group of clients within the firm.
I can’t believe it is already 7:45 a.m. as Dottie Jones my Assistant arrives and checks on me. I ask Katherine, “Why am I in at 7:00 if my assistant isn’t due in until 8 am?”
“You will learn to do some of your more confidential work before she and other office people are here. If you see an Office Assistant here much before seven forty-five you are to ask for identification and clearance. If that’s not shown. Call security and shut down her system and those of that and the next two offices on either side. You will be shown how to do that.”
Katherine says, “Young lady, you will learn…” She stops, “Sorry about the ‘Lady’ part, you will probably get that more than once on this floor. You should be proud that you are in with us.” She continues, “You will learn more about how secure our systems are and how we keep them that way. I think you will go through the security process like the rest of us. Some of that will be today. We will have lunch at 12 noon for you to meet your colleagues here. We’ll have fun but it is also learning and training for you. It should be over between 1:30 and 2:00 pm.”
I ask, “Will I have time to call Ms. Marjorie Lourdes today. I was planning to do it around 9:00 a.m.”
Katherine replies, “That is your responsibility, but if it is what you plan you better get it done.”
“This is silly but would any of you know the best place to get the makeup for men?” I wanted to apologize as I say it.
“We’re glad to hear your question. Two Associates that are free come 2:30 will go with you. Please don’t use more than one and a half hours.”
“I won’t need anywhere near that much time.”
“We thought you’d like to get some clothes and be able to charge it to the company. That will be your decision but the Associates with you will plan to be ready. You do have an expense allotment for coming on as an Associate.
I am settled back into my office work when I make a call to Marjorie Lourdes; it is just before 10 in the morning her time. I had hoped to get a machine or no answer giving me more time. It was just after the second ring, we connect, “Hello, Janice Cooper, Sophia’s Earth Oils, Ms. Marjorie Lourdes Assistant.”
I introduce myself, “I’m, Mr. Elliot Sanders Associate of Lioness Investments. I would like to schedule an appointment to meet with Ms. Lourdes.”
Janice says. “Let me put you through to her. She’s been hoping you would call.”
I try to say, ‘I just wanted to make an appointment.’ But I hear another phone pick up, “Ms. Lourdes here, did I hear you’re Elliot Sanders from LIFe. I like that you are calling promptly, I like that. I have Tuesday as a casual day for me. Could you be here then? Say 10 a.m., give me the day and Wednesday if you would. I am not sure if Sophia will want to meet you yet or not. You can plan to stay with us if you wish.”
Everything is happening much faster than I anticipated. “Yes I agree,” but say, “I need not stay there.”
“Shush, you will dine with us and we'll meet into the evening. You should reconsider staying here. I will talk to you about business on Wednesday. I am not sure what I’m doing Tuesday. Janice will inform you by tomorrow or Monday morning at the latest. Come prepared to have a good time as we’ll get to know each other. Do you have anything you might want to ask me in a hurry? I am ready to go out the door.”
I ask, “Is there something I can prepare to do for you?”
Ms. Lourdes says, “Several, call me Marjorie when we’re together especially on my personal time. I have another half a million dollars to invest and ask that you look over my portfolio and see if there are any changes you would suggest.”
“I will see you Tuesday then.” She says goodbye and hangs up but I know the line is still open. Janice comes back on the line. She has me run through a quick synopsis of the conversation. “Thanks for keeping your conversation short, Ph.D. standing, Ms. Lourdes is a busy woman. I will probably wait until Monday to give you the information about your meeting place. Has Katherine provided you with her present up to date portfolio? They include her private phone numbers, please keep them secure, not easily found on your phone.
“You will need to be very good, men are not her favorite people. Fortunately, Ms. Attwood does highly recommend you. Do not let her down please.” I am soon ending our conversation. Dottie comes in with a template form that is good for debriefing me and getting things down in a reference form.
That done, I spend until noon going over Ms. Lourdes’ present investments. I asked Katherine what other investments they had discussed and what had been ruled out. Katherine says, “She will want a ten percent return or better overall. Research women seeking to establish a company, but it needs to be pretty good if she’s to invest a $100,000 or more. Do not recommend more than $150 thousand with startups nor investments under $25,000. My suggestion, locate companies that have already started and are ready to expand or explode.”
Our conversation ends with Katherine outside my office door, inviting me to lunch with the other Associates. There are beef, chicken, and tofu strips ready to add to stir-fry. There are several appetizers and hot and cold teas along with waters. I am famished yet I know to eat wisely, including portion control.
There are twelve Associates present as well as office people being served second and sitting close by. The women are giving me a hard time. Associates Cheryl and Jamie say they’re taking me shopping. A big part of their conversation with me has to do with this floor having been pure estrogen air. I am not to expect those conversations to cease.
We are done closer to 1:30, and only three Associates had taken calls and done business while we’re eating. Most take lunch casually without business calls if they can and encourage me to do the same. I like the relaxed atmosphere for getting to know them.
Like with me, the next hour we find very productive in researching investment possibilities. One woman in New Jersey has taken a cottage industry and is up to ten part-time employees and she wants all to be working full-time and to expand their markets. Their products are good and they have a patent that gives them an appreciable edge in their market. I’m scheduled to talk to Sally the owner tomorrow morning.
Come 2:20, I go down to Cheryl’s office as Jaime is coming down the corridor the other way. They take me to a clothing store that I didn’t know existed in our city. They do have clothing for metro males; it even opens as such. It’s around the block from the main store of women’s clothing apparel. Cheryl says, “Let’s look for shoes you like and we’ll set them aside and then see if they go with the clothes you select. You should get something for a formal dinner, nights out, and casual meetings. I select two pairs of shoes one is grey. They are both very nice, though I’m not terribly excited about them. They’re a bit heavy, something that makes me think of an old librarian.
We looked at some slacks and shirts, but Connie had as good or better. We go through a set of double doors connecting to another area. It’s actually the women’s store and I feel like they’re pushing me. But the clothes we look at can be seen as unisex. I like the shirts/blouses I see without any darts for the bust or feminine trim along the edges. I even see narrow satin/silk scarves that could be used instead of ties. I ask a saleswoman about slacks that might be worn more formally by a man.
She shows me what could be a feminine tuxedo, she’s telling me that I’d look good in it. I do try it on to amuse Cheryl and Jaime. I am surprised by the longer waist of the pants and a cummerbund as it makes it look like a fancy tuxedo. There is a slight flare to the legs. They have some in my size that is white or gray. The saleswoman has me step into a black pair of mules with a closed-toe but open on the sides. I complain that a man does not wear such dress shoes. Once I have them on and whether I am sitting up or standing properly the slacks and the 2 ½” heels hide much of my feet.
I talk with Cheryl and she tells me what I need to hear. “If you’re going to be a metro male you need to be happy with whom you are. If you cannot be content with your look, Jennifer will not want you like that. Relaxing and enjoying your look, she and you both will be happier.” I take the gray tuxedo and along with a pair of black and the pair of gray pumps. The gray is a match with the fancy tuxedo. I stay in this department selecting slacks, blouses as shirts and the two scarfs that I like. Cheryl takes her time and shows me three ways to wear the scarves.
It is nearly four when we begin to exit through the men’s shop when Jaime reminds me to get some makeup. We look and they help me select a concealer, foundation, and basic makeup. The men’s mascara and the brush are much simpler and sparsely uses much mascara. There’s a blush that can be used to brighten the tone of my skin as well as conceal the darkness under my eyes. A cleanser and moisturizer now become essential as well. Cheryl has more panties, camis, and a variety of socks added to the purchase. I call Bonnie as she is out of teaching for the day. Telling her the stores will be delivering my clothes directly home.
I did question, “Cheryl, can we afford to have them deliver them?”
She smiles for $3,000 in purchases they will be happy to deliver them. It is much safer than you situating all the clothes in your car while you're back to work. Next month we will need to be talking about your car as well.”
I am now excited about breaking into this next level as an Associate and the jump in income. But I’m angry and worried about being feminized. I justify this as a temporary move before I would jump companies. That is if things don’t change in my favor.
=^..^=
Like the other Associates, I’m very dedicated and find myself back working until 6:30 before going home. Getting home after work, there is a funny explosion of all my emotions that I kept bundled inside. Bonnie greets me when I come through the door. “Honey, I love this new you, and I can’t wait to see you showing me how some of these clothes look on you. I thought you were going to seek to go the other way on your camis undershirts.”
I wasn’t the one who picked them out. I’m a man so I am only mildly interested in seeing them. I thought they bought four but there are at minimum seven-plus more new tops. There are also two with a lot of lace and two more that are pure satin. The chest pads instead of being a quarter-inch or less are now plush smooth and soft.
Bonnie soon has me out of my clothes and is putting one of the camis on me along with one of my new satin panties for men, very different from my usual. With my first silky beige shirt, the camis becomes invisible as long as the second to top button is done.
I do not feel the difference when Bonnie hugs me. She only tells me that it is fine. She loves the slacks that go with the cummerbund and tux. I tell her I think it looks too feminine, but she swears it is a cool metro look. The clothes helped to arouse me, unlike anything I’ve experienced. With the first change of clothes, Bonnie has me relaxing with a glass of wine. We’re sitting around visiting.
I am more than ready to unwind from the day. Bonnie sweeps her fingers through my hair as we share a passionate kiss. She undoes a few buttons for me and I settle down as she’s being supportive. I’m feeling sad as I’ve not been there for Bonnie like she has been for me.
Bonnie has beef stroganoff simmering for our dinner. I tell her of my being able to schedule time with Marjorie Lourdes. We both know the preparation time during the night pays off. I had changed into a different pair of slacks, and a more casual pastel blue camis along with a new pair of slippers that I didn’t remember buying. I shake my head as I was actually feeling comfortable in most of my new clothes.
I am sitting watching Bonnie as she’s correcting school papers. I know some of the students’ names but this is a first where I am taking an interest in how they’re doing, their handwriting, and Bonnie’s comments to them. I’m proud of her,
Bonnie, “Do you have off early tomorrow and have this weekend off?”
I tell her, “Most the associates are regularly off by 3:30 or 4:00 on Fridays unless we have pressing work. I will need to go into work for a couple of hours Saturday but I’m sleeping in if you are.”
Bonnie asks, “If I get you a bra and heels would you mind if we go out tomorrow night as two girls out on the town? I think it might help the two of us to relax and have a good time.”
I’m staring, thinking about what she’s asking, wondering if it’s a real question. The last time we did something crazy like this was over a year ago Halloween. The difference now is I would intentionally look like a young woman. I am upset with work pushing a feminine image. Bonnie and I decide to do it with me pressing that it is only for fun. Telling myself it’s different from the pressure I feel at work.
Bonnie doesn’t realize it but her hands are laced together like she’s praying. That plays a deciding factor, “Yeah, but just tomorrow night.”
I am already getting excited to be with her tonight. Truthfully the clothes have something to do with it.
Bonnie’s up early to go power walking, I wasn’t planning to walk with her, but I had got up to use the toilet. When I came back to the bed, there’s a pair of nice workout pants, a top, and band for my head. Bonnie says, “If you want to walk with me please hurry.” I quickly put on a pair of socks and an old pair of cross-trainers, along with the clothes that were out. The cool air and Bonnie’s pace encouraged the brisk walk.
I copy Bonnie with both the warmup stretches and cool down. Bonnie comments, “I really appreciate you taking the time to walk with me. Usually, we’re pretty far apart when we walk.”
“I learned that isn’t really walking together and last night you took time to be there for me. I appreciated that. It was enjoyable to walk together and it was good exercise.”
The shower and getting ready are going quickly. I decide to go with a white lace camis since it won’t show and it feels extra nice. I put on a pair of black slacks and a white satin shirt with a scarf tied nicely and the black jacket. Late, I decide I’d like to change the camisole but alas I don’t have the time. Bonnie uses my roll-on concealer with makeup that blends in so nicely a person won't notice. The dark areas around my eyes are gone.
I drive Bonnie to her school early and make it to my office by 7:00 a.m. There are two trip plans on my computer to fly out to New York City and then drive to Suffolk County. One goes out Monday evening the other very early on Tuesday. Either way, I’m choosing to stay at a nice hotel. I considered driving my own car, but Dottie has a note from Katherine saying ‘No’.
I sit back, reflecting on the week and happy about how well I’ve been received by the Associates and the staff. I see my reflection and lightly laugh at myself. Thinking about tonight brings another light-hearted smile. I decide I will work to be a presentable woman on a night out. I even have it down to one pants outfit or a dress Bonnie had mentioned.

Katherine was in early and checks on me. “It is nice seeing you early, along with seeing you sharply dressed. Please continue to work on possible investment possibilities for Ms. Marjorie Lourdes. After you review Marjorie’s information, I want you to begin studying Sophie Lourdes' profile.”
She says, “I like the camisole you’re wearing today. Does this mean you’re open to connecting with your feminine side?”
I’m stunned, I’m tempted to touch myself making sure the camis is flat. I say, “It has a little more padding, being flat I didn’t think it would be noticeable.”
Katherine says, “I hope you become comfortable with it. I think you should wear a couple of them when you visit the Lourdes.”
I say, “I don’t want them thinking the wrong thing; like I’m misleading them.”
Kathy says, “I’d hope they see it as you being sensitive to them. I am sure they will prefer seeing a man more open than the traditional guys they prefer to avoid.” She pauses, “Wait until later this morning and go see what’s new with Connie at Professional Clothiers… Was she lite some items earlier in the week?”
I said, “Yes, but I’ve already purchased a lot. I feel bad that the Corporation is paying for so much.”
Katherine says, “That ends soon enough, today or tomorrow here if you shop with your special Lioness card maybe a week longer. Jennifer Attwood sees it as you investing in yourself for the company. I know Jennifer once talked to one new Associate telling her, “You’ve gone over $10,000. If you go over $15,000 I’ll want to know how you justify it. …I am more interested in understanding you and your understanding of how we value you.”
Jaime walks over to them, “Yes, and I told Jennifer that I wasn’t used to wearing the more traditional business clothes worn here. It was for me an investment in being a team player. I never have to worry about being uniquely me. But Jennifer told me to figure how to flex the style here so I don’t lose myself. …I’ve already been here for four years. Carrying two large accounts and how they and my smaller stuff has gone. It more than justifies what they invested in me.”
Katherine and Jaime both say, they’re comfortable with me. It was good to hear Katherine say, “Ms. Attwood chose you because she’s sure you will do a great job. A person like Ms. Attwood doesn’t make a major change without knowing the caliber of the person she’s calling on.”
I spend much of the day working up the investment portfolio I am to present Tuesday. It includes Eoliche Euro Incorporazione an Italian wind energy company that is successfully making its way into the wider European market. Maria Bertella leads a group of women engineers and businesswomen as majority owners. Their business is not limited to women, but they are the founders and chief designers of their own wind turbine motors, their huge blades, and other design parts. It includes their manufacturing plants in which both huge and intricate parts are made. The quality of their manufacturing plants has them also selling to others.
American Fashion Network, JESS Apparel operated under the auspices of Jaqueline Wilson. I see it as a complimenting company to Sophia’s Earth Oils, especially the fragrance division. It took some time to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of being in some of the same markets.
Craig Technologies, Inc. in Florida, operated by CEO Carol Craig is both technologically savvy as well as a very good manufacturing concern. It has established itself in a short time acquiring a good reputation despite much scrutiny from its competitors. I value it to be worthy of long-term investment.
Before lunch, I am down to Connie, the Clothiers manager. I had called her early enough to secure my time. She, like Katherine and Jaime, comments that she likes how I am stretching the fashion wardrobe I’m buying. She shows me a new shoe from Cole Hans, a name I only knew I couldn’t afford before. She says, “I am only one of three buyers who can put an order in with our heel requirements. I have a black pair and it also comes in gray and blue; I don’t think you’ll be interested in the red, pink or silver at this time. You should get a black pair and choose one of the other two.”
Seeing them, I say, “Along with being pretty shoes the best I can say is they might be seen as unisex. I expect most people like me, will see them as women’s shoes.”
No sooner I say that and Connie asks, “So along with the black pair, which one will you like to get. You already have one pair of slacks that will go well with them. I hope you’re comfortable enough to order two or three more.
I try joking with her, “I was wondering if you have the silver chain belt in my size.”
Connie without hesitation says, “It’s well-polished stainless steel, but yes consider it purchased.” When I do speak up and tell her I wasn’t being serious. She responds, “I’ll include it anyway. I expect there will be a time you decide it’s you and wear it. After that, you’ll want to wear it on special occasions. Along with three pairs of slacks in varying lengths, and the two pairs of shoes; I am getting a collection of panties, camis, and casual shoes to wear at home. One pair of heels is for my date out with Bonnie.
Lastly, I got four shirts/blouses one is feminine, the blue blouse with pink trim. Connie says, “You are not even close $10,000, but if Ms. Jennifer checks, I am sure she will be happy with what you have selected.”
I question, “Ms. Attwood comfortable for me? It’s an investment in the company and me being in line with what they want for now.”
She says, “If a year from now you have not worn and enjoyed your purchases from here, I will buy any of them back at my cost.” Finally, she asks, “Please let me fit you for a bra and some delicate tops to wear.” I question about wearing the camis I have. Connie informs me they work very well under your blouses, as well as over your bra. Send word down Monday if you enjoy them tonight.”
I remembered back in school, girls buying bras saying to one another that their first bras are special. Connie says she’s throwing in the cutlets and won’t charge me if I return them unused as I plan.
I gather with the other associates and assistants for our Friday noon gathering. I thought at first they were joking with me at my expense. Then they start to compliment me on my week. The detail of their compliments helps me to hear their sincerity as well as their appreciation for all I’ve done. There is no mention of a forced feminization like I first felt.
Betsy, who was to be the hardest sell in my breaking the feminine barrier, praises me for my style. “I think Ms. Attwood chose well in choosing you to break into our ranks. You seem to be a breath of fresh air. I so regretted this week and I am not one easily pleased as I’m sure you have heard.”
I tried denying that I heard any such thing until she says, “Go powder your nose it is glowing.” I did take out a compact and look. It is my embarrassed face not my nose glowing.
Betsy has been here twenty-three years as Associate. She at forty-nine is a very savvy person and attractive. She is a bit of a feminist and it is said only dress up when she decides. She comes over to give me a hug and places in my hand a small box of earrings. If you ever decide to wear earrings I hope you will consider these when you do.” We kiss cheeks and then she whispers in my ear, “May you enjoy your years here as much as I do mine.”
Katherine later tells me. Betsy could be a part owner by now but likes what she does. She does not like being a boss. I’ve been told she’s happy as the Senior Associate.
I am beginning to leave at four when Katherine comes along with Diane. “We are looking forward to seeing you and Bonnie tonight at the Foxy Lady. We’re wondering if you want to go out to eat alone with Bonnie. We could tell you about a nice place to eat. We could pick you two up and take you if you want. What reservations have you made?”
I look at my phone, remembering I had put it on very low and not taken it off. There are at least three messages from home or Bonnie’s phone. I was about to scream that the women were intruding into my personal life. I check two messages Bonnie left. I was to call back at once with a response that was over three hours ago. The last call Bonnie said, ‘Diane and Jaime were wanting to get together. And since you didn’t return my calls, I insisted they invite Katherine I hope you don’t object. The first call was at 11:00 a.m. and then at 1:12 p.m. when Bonnie finally committed us.’ I wasn’t upset with her; it was me who hadn’t responded.
But hadn’t she thought about my being given a difficult time if we went as planned? Bonnie was happy to have the help of my co-workers. It is nice to be in a city large enough to have several places catering to businesswomen and the LG community. The Foxy Lady is enjoyed by straight women as well as those in the lesbian and transgender community, and men as some straight people go there as well.
I had been there twice before, once was when I was harassed by a large guy and a group at other nightspots. The other time was with work and the decision of the vast majority. I enjoyed my time there with friends; the music, visits, and dancing were all pleasing.
My original idea of letting my hair down with Bonnie didn’t include co-workers. Now I need to get home and get ready as well as adjust my attitude. My usual reaction at this point would be very angry and change the plans. The prior week has me now looking at things differently…
I left work early but Bonnie is already at home by the time I get there. She is gleeful saying, “Elliot, I was able to get someone to cover my school responsibilities for tonight. We’re free to have a great night of fun, isn’t that wonderful?”
I begin to speak and she quickly says, “Do you have a girl-like voice you can start using for tonight?” I smile and agree as she is infectiously happy. I say it again trying to be more feminine in my speaking. Bonnie has me change my voice just slightly and then says, “There I like that voice.”
Using the voice she likes, I ask her, “Why did you invite Katherine and the others to be with us tonight? I was looking forward to a fun night, just the two of us.”
Bonnie smiles, “I hoped you didn’t mind, but I was afraid it would be too much stress on you to carry half of the conversation, ordering drinks and something to eat. I shared with Jaime that Katherine didn’t need to be asked if they thought it would interfere with your chance to have fun. Do I gather right that you and Katherine have talked and she too is coming?”
“Bonnie, I wasn’t wanting any of them to know I was going to act like a girl with you. That was to be between us two.”
Bonnie says, “That is why I called you and asked for you to call me back. You, however, didn’t return my calls. I didn’t want to put you on the spot tonight, nor did I want to cancel. I am sorry if you feel hurt. We can cancel, I will call them telling them I changed my mind and want you all to myself.”
I say, “Bonnie, I don’t know how to speak to other women unless I’m talking investments or business. What am I to do?”
She says, “The first thing I suggest is to just greet them and then listen. Your clients are going to be women.” Bonnie says, “The truth is if all you talk to women about is business and finances; all you’re going to be is a resource person. Women want to be heard but you don’t listen to them. They won’t trust you with what’s dear to them. If you can’t talk to Jaime or those you work with. How is Ms. Lourdes going to become comfortable with you?”
The truth is that has been my experience at Lioness Investments. This is the first week some women have ever talked to me as a person. The truth is I didn’t like them much until this week.
I have a better estimation of Barb Dirks and Brook Dobbs now than I did two weeks ago. They liked my work, but I didn’t think they ever cared about me. I don’t know if I ever offended Barb, but I can’t say the same about Brook. When she was first pregnant with her Emma. I couldn’t stand her excuses for being sick and I had told her: “You’re fortunate to have a baby. I don’t understand why they’d allow you to be an Associate.” Brook left my office crying that day and I almost lost my job.
The other day Bobbi James, Associate 14B, ran down the hall several times because she had morning sickness. I already knew her as a dedicated worker. Thursday she had a client in her office when she got sick. I happened to be in the hall when she came running out.
I told her, “You’re not going to make it, use my wastebasket.” She did and then I sent her down the hall to clean up.
I took my time to go in and talk with her client and confirmed the good investments Bobbi was suggesting. It was not a simple acquisition that she was suggesting, but it was a great idea for her client and relief for a struggling company that had a great product. I was sure Bobbi expected me to judge her like I had Brook. I liked surprising her like that when I didn't.
Once I showered, Bonnie had out the outfit she talked about this morning, but along with it were the pink bra and breast forms Connie had sold me. It’s a joke to me that I would wear them now as I was sure what I’d look like with them on. My first vision was of ten inches of boob sticking out from my chest. The three-plus inches is quite enough. Once the bra and blouse were in place I became uncomfortable because I see a woman looking back at me and she’s me.
I thought the outfit was old and would look awful on me. Now, I recognize the outfit as one Bonnie recently order, but it wasn’t quite right for her. But with me, it is another thing completely. Bonnie says, “The colors work with your complexion and eyes better.” That becomes more apparent as Bonnie is dressed and helps with my makeup. Mascara and eyeliner are added, after a colorful peach and sunglow yellow as eyeshadow. None of it was heavy or overboard and it all looks good on me.
I make us a small sandwich, both of us getting two quarters. It is enough to keep me satisfied until we eat later. While I was eating I didn’t hear Jaime drive-up or come to the door. I had been awfully nervous anticipating Jaime and Diane seeing me. This saved me from more anxious waiting.
Bonnie asks me, “Stand up and go see who’s coming please.” I stood up, turned around, and was ready to go see who was coming. Bonnie had already let them in as I’m smoothing out my skirt and then lookup.
I smile and say, “Hi, Jamie and Diane.” Their smiling back puts me at ease.
Diane says, “I like how you look and your voice matches who I see in front of me.”
“Thank you for the compliment, but I’m nervous as hell. Bonnie takes all the credit for how I look.”
Jaime says, “I do not see any string marks where she would have tied you up like a puppet. I guess you helped and cooperated. I am proud of you and give my thanks to Bonnie for helping you.” She then says, “If you two are ready, we should be on our way to Marcino’s. Katherine will meet us there.”
I’m okay going to the Foxy Lady because I know it is open to people dressed like me. I’d be very anxious about going to Marcino’s because it is a regular night spot with great food and ambiance. What if someone makes a fuss about me being there?
Bonnie points and tells me, “Pick up your purse, and let’s get going.” There is a small purse with a long strap. I know enough to put it on my shoulder and to use my arm to keep it inside where I can hold it. I know the women are watching me and they’re amused.
“I’m sorry but I'm not used to this and I’m trying to do it properly.”
Jaime says, “You’re doing fine. I don’t know about the others but I can see you’re trying hard to do it like you think you should.” We’re at Jaime’s vehicle and she’s holding the back door on her side for me. I had been rehearsing in my mind to sit down and to scoot in. But now I am trying to bow my head and put a foot in. It is a big stride and stretch and I know it’s not right. I stand straight again and I’m still out of the vehicle. I watch Bonnie through the open door on the other side.
This time I turn sitting in the seat and begin bringing one foot in and then the other. I turn myself to face forward as Jaime is closing my door. Once we’re to Marcino’s there is a doorman to help us out and another to park the car. Jaime hands me a credit card saying, “Elle or Elliot can use this. I look at the card see both names embossed there.
I ask, “Is this legal?”
Bonnie points to an ATM and says, “It is once you use it in an ATM.” She whispers three numbers and the nickname of my favorite team. I go use the ATM and drew out two hundred dollars cash. The balance on my card shows more than what one should expect. I look into my purse and find a smaller purse with a place for my card and a place for my cash. There is at least $30-50 already in my purse.
Once I’m ready, Diane says to the Maître de, “We’re with Katherine Bode.” The Maître de takes us to Katherine’s table, saying, “Women have a great night.”
Katherine seeing me says “O my Elle you are so attractive.” She comes and hugs me and I hear a kiss but don’t feel one. It is my first women’s air-kiss. Katherine pulls me to sit near her but I stay standing until Bonnie is next to me on the other side. We all eat small with each course as there are to be seven courses. I am listening to the women as Bonnie had suggested.
Come our travel to the Foxy Lady, I find myself telling the four what clothes I would have purchased before as if I was truly a woman. It was my second drink at the Foxy Lady that I begin to lose my inhibitions even more. Bonnie’s request is for me to dance the first and last dance of the evening with her.
It was after I had danced with Jaime and Diane that a woman named Lucy cuts in to dance with me. That and the next song being slow, Lucy holds onto me and takes me to a corner table with her friends. They’re warming up to me and treating me as a close friend. When Bonnie came over later to retrieve me. I didn’t remember much of what happened but was able on the way home to tell them all we had talked about.
It was not until we get home that Bonnie had me take a shower and get ready for bed. Bonnie’s entertained by me as I am finally regaining my sobriety. I said, “You know Bonnie, I could never be a woman.” Then I talked on about the things I wouldn’t be able to do: Walk in heels, get used to a bra, talk as another woman.
Bonnie said, “We did not realize you were drunk before I brought you back from the other women. They ask me if you could help them to become pregnant.”
Bonnie said she asked which one of them? Lucy said, “We were hoping each of us could take a turn. We were hoping to take him to one of our places and sober him up. We would not have taken advantage of him if we could help it.” Bonnie, Jaime, and Katherine counted the drinks, they knew I had and were up to five just at the Foxy Lady. I knew I had at least two with Lucy and friends.
“Gosh,” said Katherine, “They’re not water!” Jaime asked, “Did the women take you to the restroom?”
I scratched my head and replied, “Yes, they might have. I wondered how they knew I needed to go.”
Bonnie says, “That is when they probably checked out your plumbing.” By that time I had fallen asleep and didn’t fully wake up until Bonnie woke me in the morning. But she also put me under the shower last night and had me take care of the makeup I had on. She said, I made a fuss and talked to her most of the time. But I didn’t remember anything. I thought I had imagined watching closely as a woman took off her makeup. That might have been me.
I shower again and ask Bonnie, “Please help me to take these boobs off my chest.” That is when she tells me, “Your Aunt Jennifer called and asked if we were likely to be home at 11:00 this morning. She said, "She wanted to talk to us about Elle going to church in the morning. So I guess you might as well keep the breasts on and dress as Elle.”
I say, “Aunt Jennifer isn’t my boss, Ms. Jennifer Atwood is.” I eat breakfast before I resign to the fact I should put on a little makeup. The concealer and foundation are not hard. I thought I had done a good job in putting some facial makeup on until Bonnie says I need to use a triangle form to put it on and make sure it is even over all my face. Twice I think I’m done when she points out areas asking, “What’s that?”
Little by little my eyes are becoming better at recognizing subtle differences. I lightly use some eyeshadow to the praise of Bonnie. But we’re interrupted by a call from Katherine.
I’m a little upset and tell her so, “Bonnie said Jennifer is coming over, wants me to go to church with her as Aunt Jennifer tomorrow. I thought I have weekends off. Aunt Jennifer shouldn’t be insisting I need to go to church.”
Katherine matter of factly, says, “Get over it. Jennifer has a policy of doing this with all of us. It proves to be helpful and endears us to some of our clients. Both of the Lourdes are religious and you have one time to make a first impression.”
She then says, “How are you after last night? Did Bonnie share you came close to being a baby maker?” I think she’s joking with me, but my phone’s on loud and Bonnie is shaking her head that it is true. She’ll tell me more after Aunt Jennifer is gone.
Kathy says, “I’m checking to see if you got the message you’re to meet Ms. Marjorie Lourdes at the Venus Health Spa Club?” When I tell her yes. She asks, “What does that tell you in preparation for in meeting with her?”
I tell her I’ll be ready, but I get the feeling she thinks I don’t understand. My understanding is that the first day we’re just meeting one another. If I don’t take time with her at the spa; then I’d have to wait until that even or the next day. She confirms my understanding and then leaves it to me to decide how to handle Tuesday and the exclusive spa…
Aunt Jennifer is late arriving at 11:30 a.m. and I can tell she’s pleased to find me dressed as ‘Elle’ Sanders as she calls me. She says, “I’d like you, Elle, to go with me tomorrow to my church. And then again the following Sunday to a Christian church that is very welcoming of women and the LGBT community.”
I interrupt, “I thought most churches welcome women they've been the majority of the people wherever I’ve been. Things must have changed a lot.”
Aunt Jenn says, “I’m talking about us independent thinkers to be part of running the ministry of a church and to be taken seriously. The Lourdes had one of the first women pastors in a large church and she was very good. When she left and they hired a man as their pastor. He worked to change much of what was accomplished before him. Marjorie was one of those who saw to it that he was changed and soon out. She wouldn’t have gotten far if most didn’t want the change. But it wouldn’t have happened if passive women were waiting for the change to be made.”
“Our church has a male head of staff but Rev. Martha, the Associate Pastor, is strong in her own right. Hopefully, you will meet her tomorrow. I’d like to go to the late service at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Hopefully, she would be free to go to dinner with us if she will.”
My Aunt says, “Bonnie, you are very welcome to come with us and you’d both be my treat for dinner. I’m not wanting you to come out of duty or just for Elliot but if you care to.”
I’m wanting to ask if I have a choice which I’m sure I do. However, I am now more certain that Jennifer knows the importance of what she’s talking about.
Bonnie says, “I plan to consider it. I’m hoping right now; you’d consider having lunch with us. It’s a simple soup and sandwich. We have plenty but if it’s not what you want it will keep.” Bonnie must have done her homework for Aunt Jennifer enjoys soup and eats simply on weekends unless she goes out to eat.
When we’re done our business, Bonnie asks me to help watch the soup and set the table. She wants to visit with my Aunt. I can’t help but feel I’m being domesticated. I know better than to say it out loud. I am finally realizing Bonnie and my Aunt Jennifer believe in me in ways I had not understood before. Jennifer evens takes the opportunity to express it.
“You know Elliot, I think a lot of your ability. I thought you would choose to strike out on your own since I’m not one to change the nature of my company. You are impressing me as Elliot, not Ellie, and please don’t think I’m pushing you to be a woman. I just want you to gain a glimpse of your clients’ view of the world.”
Before reacting, I think out my approach to customers and decide it is different from my previous job. I’m not sure of what Aunt Jennifer was referring to concerning Marjorie Lourdes. I do chuckle to myself concerning Ms. Lourdes' visit to her spa club. ‘Knowing it’s a women’s only club? What would I be willing to do as Elliot? Could I chance her staying there, my shortchanging my chance to get to know her informally like a friend or would I chance it cutting into my coming to know her.’

Previously: “You know Elliot, I think a lot of your ability. I thought you would actually choose to strike out on your own because of that. Before reacting now, I think out my approach to customers and decide it is different from previously. I’m not sure of what Aunt Jennifer was referring to concerning Marjorie Lourdes. I chuckled concerning Ms. Lourdes visit to her spa club. ‘Knowing it’s a women’s only club? What would I be willing to do as Elliot? Could I chance not staying there or waiting while would short change my chance to get to know her informally, or would I chance that the cost might be bigger than I dare to think about.’
=^_^=
Having sat around the tables with the various associates; I understand better the initial time of listening needs to be separate before presenting my recommendations or rationalizing reasons for her investments. I’ve already penciled out Wednesday as well as Tuesday. “Jennifer, in fact, I decided to set aside the whole week if need be. I’m planning to be with them into Thursday as I’m hopeful to visit with Sophie, no Sophia Lourdes.”
I chuckle as I confused her with Cousin Sophie Connors. I should be contacting her down the road as she’s doing very well for herself.’
=^_^=
I boot up my computer and research a possible idea of Sophia Lourdes investments. The information we have says she’s into different things than her mother. One of the other Associates, Shelby has mentioned a women’s cooperative in Brazil that she likes for an unusual investment. How does one tell if it is a sound investment? I called internationally and talked to a Rafaela yesterday and will visit again via an internet connection. She remembered Shelby Anderson and was glad to hear the idea was being taken seriously. Rafaela and Louisa two of the partners will be part of this conversation,
Bonnie calls to me, “We’re done talking. Do you want to come say good-bye to your Aunt?” I was tired of waiting and a little surprised my aunt seems to be ending the visit. I put my shoes back on and walk out to them. “Aunt Jenn would you like me to pick you up in the morning, so we can drive you to church?”
Immediately as I stepped out I knew Bonnie’s planning to go too. Aunt Jenn’s response didn’t surprise me, except I’m surprise how out front she is. Aunt Jenn says, “I don’t know what kind of a car Bonnie has, but until you trade up and keep it cleaner that won’t be an option. I think Therese and I should be driving you two to church. Can you both be ready by 9:10 in the morning?” We agree and after a hug and air kiss my Aunt leaves.
I hug Bonnie and thank her. I’m trying to pull Bonnie to my bedroom. She says, “Not yet, but soon. We need to do a little shopping.”
I’m afraid to ask, but I do. “What are we needing to shop for now?”
Bonnie says, “There are some girl things ‘we’ need. Plus I’ve put off showing you how to shop far too long. We won’t do too much but I’m asking that you be the one who will be doing it.”
My outfit is casual enough as I change down to a pair of flats. We use Bonnie’s car. We’re at the mall but we’re going to a jeweler to look at earrings. We agree on a beautiful looking pair of diamond and silver stud earrings. There is another set Bonnie likes for me, gold with jade from Thailand. Once we’re set on them Bonnie’s set to buy them despite the fact they don’t pierce ears. Bonnie giggles as she looks at me. “They’re jewelers, not Claire’s they don’t pierce ears. Most good jewelers don’t do it.”
Bonnie takes my two cases over and asks the jeweler to show me the two pairs. Sticker shock hits me as the diamond studs are $1,795 dollars. Jonathan shows me a pair of jade earrings saying, “These are marked down to $1,215 from $1,650. But I’d rather sell to you for $1,998 and the better Thai jade earrings. I’ll even have a person come here to pierce your ears.”
I try to bargain more, “Make it $3,000 for both and we have a sale.” Bonnie lays down my credit card from Jennifer with the LIFe logo on it. Jonathan’s face lights up, “I heard LIFe is supposed to get a new associate over there. Rumor has it they might be getting their first male associate now or soon.”
I say, “If you’re a regular company LIFe uses. You know that we’re not into rumors or sharing our business dealings. It could result in the end of business here.”
Bonnie called me aside, “Elle, I’m not use to these prices, but I’d say if the diamond studs and the Thai jade earrings are something you like. And I think if you’re staying with Lioness, they would be very nice. I don’t think you can honestly say you wouldn’t like to have them.”
Bonnie says to the Jeweler, “I haven’t seen too many people who are better off who don’t want more.”
Her statement reminded me, “Bonnie, your eyes were fixed on one of the necklaces. Let’s look at that or something else if you prefer.”
Bonnie says, “We can’t do that with this card.”
“I have my personal card, and I can afford it.” I tell Jonathan, “She a teacher a mighty fine teacher. It’s about time I treat her special.”
Jon says, “Miss, if you’re a teacher, might you ever wear it to school? Even if you wear it under a blouse a good necklace should have a safety chain. I would suggest preferably a two strand necklace.”
I look nearby where he took the necklace from. I had to look a bit and over to find three such necklaces. The two strands are delicate, but the price leaped. Bonnie protests a little, but her heart wasn’t interested in protesting too much. She did change to a stylized heart. It will be the largest price gift I’ve given to someone when it’s not a holiday. But we’re in agreement and she’s delighted.
A woman from the department store next door comes to pierce my ears. She says, “It’s usually a teen or college girl being treated special by someone. I am honored to help you.” She is very nice. The piercing comes with a fifty dollar starter set of earrings. She is very happy to insert my new pair of diamond earrings. She compliments my selection and offers to help us next door in the department store.
Needless to say, Bonnie insists we go there and get some makeup as well as the other set of earrings. We both purchased another blouse and long skirts for tomorrow.
=^..^=
Bonnie drives us to an enclosed botanical garden for tea and to relax walking around and sitting in the garden café. “You know Elle you look as though you belong here.”
I take offense, “You know very well I am not averse to being here. We’ve been here before; I’ve even been the one who brought you here a time or two.”
“It wasn’t meant to be derogatory, it’s just as Elle there seems to be a glow in being here.”
Bonnie looked down at her hands before the botanical gardens and does so again. I say to her, “You want your nails done don’t you? I think we need to do that and the other shopping can wait”
She asked me, “Do we have time or weren’t you planning to do something?” She pauses and then says, “You know you could have your nails shaped and polished for church tomorrow as well.”
We go to the nail salon that Bonnie usually goes to, all three nail stations are with customers at them. Only the last customer is not having both manicures and pedicures.
Tiffany the owner operator greets Bonnie. “Hello Bonnie, I was thinking it was time for you to show up. I’m glad to see you. Could I give you and your guest a facial why you wait? The first of you should be done in time for the first opening.”
Bonnie says, “This is my good friend Elle that I’ve told you about. Elle this is Tiffany she owns the salon.” We greet one another as Tiffany leads me to a chair to sit and rest in. I guess I’m slow in thinking about what she’s doing. She brushes back my hair pinning it, when I realize she’s wanting to do a facial.
“Bonnie tell her no.”
Tiffany says, “I’ve only taken you first because your makeup is lighter. I’ll let Bonnie clean off her own makeup if she wants.” Tiffany is massaging my face. It feels so good that I can’t bring myself to ask her to stop. I am lying back a little, when she tells me the mask solution she’s using. It is the best solution for you young women. I say thanks, not knowing what else to say.
Before too long, I know she has started with removing my makeup and cleansing my face. She shows me a wipe, saying, “I’m glad you’re here as a facial will be good for cleaning your pores. I suspect you’re here because you are beginning something new. This will help you in giving a good first impression.” I’m now wondering if Bonnie brought us here more for me.
I say, “Bonnie, we did come here just for you, didn’t we?”
She giggles, “Yes, but it is also true this is a new beginning for you. If it helps your new job to begin better that’s a bonus.”
Tiffany asks, “And what to you do?”
“I am an investment advisor. Previously I’ve been doing work and research for others. I am finally getting my own clients. I am going to be working mainly with women. I guess they’ll notice my complexion and how I take care of myself better than a male customer would.”
“Hopefully your male bosses will take notice of you and give credit to your good work for them. The only thing I suggest in working with men is look attractive but make sure they see a professional woman helping them. They can get easily distracted.”
Bonnie says “Working for LIF, her clients should be mostly if not all women.”
My expression changes as I’m wondering what she knows. “I am sorry if I understood wrong and you’re her friend. Please know Elle if you come here I’ll be the one to work with you and things will all be confidential. We’re like a woman’s therapist and I’m wanting you to relax in my hands.”
=^_^=
The truth is I relax so well that our conversation is like a foggy cloud. I am more into the experience of being here than just our conversation. It is another few minutes, I’m lying completely back and I’m talking with Bonnie next to me. We’re both waiting on our facials to set.
Tiffany soon peels my mask away and has me up. “Let us have your complexion breath a while. I’ll begin on your nails. Bonnie will want to wait for Carly to do her nails.”
Tiffany looks to me, “I see you’ve taken care of your hands fairly well. Yet I think you’ll enjoy having your nails done. There’s nice difference. Would you mind going into the women’s room and taking off your stockings so I can give you a pedicure?”
“Um, um. A manicure will be enough, thank you.”
“I am including the pedicure free as I’d like you to comeback. Please let me pamper you a little.”
It was something that Elliot had dreamed about; now Elle was excited and scared as it happens. “Bonnie, I’m not sure about this.”
Bonnie said, “I can appreciate that. I ask that you allow Tiffany do a pedicure, along with the manicure. Then you’ll have the experience and we can talk later.”
I went and changed out of my pantyhose and came back. I would enjoy both the manicure and pedicure. I chose a deep red. I felt myself getting excited as I watched. Tiffany had worked on my coarse feet. The dry cracked areas had softened and as some skin fell away. She saw my feet become pretty and the skin became pink as I hoped them to be. Areas around each toenail were properly manicured. Nails were cut, filed, painted and buffed until they were all glowing.
I thought the cotton balls between my toes looked funny. But I allowed them to remain while my fingernails were being done. Tiffany had started by massaging a lotion into the fingers and hands. It helped to make the cuticles around her fingernails become easier to work with.
It had been a week since much attention to my fingernails was given. Bonnie had done earlier in the week with a clear pink polish. Now my nails were long enough to shape. Elle looked and softly said, “How is it possible that they grew and I didn’t realize it?”
Bonnie quietly responded, “I don’t think you were ready to recognize what you really wanted. You have grown a lot this week. I think you’re at the place in your life to accept yourself.”
I heard what she said and I wasn’t going to argue, but neither was it the place I wanted to talk about my fears.
The time was great as I did relax and enjoy the moment. Bonnie was content. We both knew to relax and share the time there. Our conversation revolved around whether my coming work trip was going to be all business and if I was taking a nice dress for an evening out.
=^_^=
Following our time there Bonnie and I headed to my office. I’d pick up some papers so I could work at home. The security system was up and as I appeared I wasn’t passing the check. Rich Johnson the head of security asked me questions to confirm I was Elliot. They required a new photo of me, which they took, would be placed in my file pending my Aunt or Katherine’s approval.
My Aunt, Jennifer Attwood, did respond and she was delighted to approve a second security image for me. She even recognized that I had my nails done. “Elle, I am glad you got your nails done for tomorrow.”
It was then that I realized I had secured my fate in how I’d look for church in the morning.
I spent the better part of an hour in my office. Among other things I checked messages, including one from Sophia Lourdes. “This is Sophia Lourdes and I am hoping you’ll include a day of your visit to meet with me regarding my personal investments. Whenever you receive this message and can confirm my request I’d appreciate hearing from you.”
It was ironic when I called to leave a message, Sophia answered and her voice fit the image of her voice. She also realized that my speech had a more feminine tone. She was up front and asked. “Does this mean you are working to present a more pleasing side of yourself to my mother? …That will bode well for our meeting with you this time.”
My conversation with the second Ms Lourdes, required I download some other material in to my laptop.
I was looking to get home and out of the heels I was wearing. They’re only 2 1/2'’ but more than I’m use too. Unfortunately Bonnie insisted I take her out for dinner before we went back to the apartment.
We went to a cozy pub we knew where we hopefully could visit without being overheard or interrupted by others. I liked the idea of dinner and being able to talk. I’d rather have been out of the heels and back as Elliot.
Come Sunday morning, I’m awake early. My sleep was restless as Aunt Jennifer and I go to the same church. I go to the late service when I do go which is not that often. The Pastor and I had talked once about my issues but that was some time ago. She nor any of the members knew me as Elle. I’d expect Pastor Doreen Briggs would have forgotten the conversation we had almost two years ago.
I had the coffee made and a cup gone by the time Bonnie came out to the kitchen. She said, “You know Elle, you should be more excited than anxious.”
Sarcastically I ask, “How do you come to that conclusion? This could be the beginning of the end for my relations with most of my family and friends.”
Bonnie, “You’ve become comfortable being Elle. I think once people see how comfortable you are as Elle; they’ll see this is a real part of you. I think even those who react negatively will come around. Most of your friends and family are already comfortable with you working with LIF, Lioness Investments & Finances enterprises. They should be more than happy for your promotion and all that you’ve accomplished.”
Bonnie stops talking. She’s gotten a cup of coffee and refilled mine. We relaxing in our large cushiony chair. She’s smiling as she looks at me and runs fingers through my hair. I am feeling good about just being with her.
“But Bonnie, this is a big step and there’s no way you can know how apprehensive I really am?”
“You’re right, I can’t fully appreciate that. But I walked away once and I’ll never do that again. You are wonderfully made and such a special person. I believe your real friends will see that.”
I didn’t say anything, I just cuddled in her arms. It was twenty of eight when I stirred, so both of us could get ready for Jennifer, Therese and church. Bonnie helped me choose the long skirt and attractive blouse that I changed into. It is warm enough that I’m wearing a dressy sandal with nylons. The jade and gold jewelry goes well with it. Bonnie takes the time to help with a light dusting of green eyeshadow that helps compliment the jewelry and how I’m looking.
A toasted bagel and cream cheese will need to hold me over until after the service.
Both Therese and Jennifer come to the door. I’m sure they expected one of us would be late in getting ready. Since I was a young teenager I had learned not to be late for my Aunt Jenn. There is a story that goes with that but I won’t get into it here.
Therese actually recognize Bonnie more quickly than she did me. “Elliot, you’re very becoming as a woman. I am greatly impressed. Jennifer spoke well of you yesterday, but I didn’t expect you to be this good.”
We’re soon on our way to church. Aunt Jenn looks back saying, “Relax, it’s not likely anyone if anyone from the late service comes to this one or that they’d recognize you.”
“But Pastor Doreen Briggs will be there and we’ll likely see her on our way out of church. I kind of want her to know about me, but I’m apprehensive about it happening today.”
The service was good and moved along. I was glad as Bonnie usually did not like going to church. True to what I said before the service, Pastor Briggs was at the door we went out of.
Jennifer and Therese were in front of us as we went out. I saw the pastor’s eyes glance back at me as she spoke with Jenn and Therese. I wasn’t surprised when Rev. Briggs asked me, “So is it Elle. I thought you said another name when we first talked. The important thing is are you comfortable with yourself?”
I smiled, “Yes, though I’m a little anxious being out.”
“Well I’m happy for you. Please stop by sometime, I’d be glad to have an opportunity to visit with you.”
=^_^=
We went out to the Lakeside Country Club for brunch. It used to be a women’s only club and still favors serving professional women. It is no big deal there that Jenn and Therese are a couple, nor that I am there as Elle with Bonnie.
While I was wondering if there might be someone there who would know or recognize me. I wasn’t expecting my mother, my oldest sister Lindsey and my niece Lexi.
Lexi hurriedly walked over to be, “I’m so happy to meet you Aunt Elli…” she paused not yet knowing my name.
“And I you Lexi. I’m going by Elle for now. I can’t believe I’m doing this,” I say as I look to the three of them.
Lexi matter of factly says, “It’s the 21st Century Aunt Elle. Mom said for a moment there you were the first male Associate in Aunt Jennifer’s Investment firm. Was changing over part of her plan when you got the promotion? My mother and Grandma Sanders said Aunt Jennifer wouldn’t do that.”
“I’m still biologically a man, but I am finally seeing myself also as a transgender woman. I haven’t decided a whole lot about my long-term future yet.”
With that we sit down. Our table had six chairs, but it easily seats the eight of us. Lexi is excited about meeting Bonnie as well and sits next to her.
Lexi turns to her Aunt Jennifer, “We played a nine hole round of golf. It is the most beautiful golf course I’ve ever played on. Thanks for letting us play an early round. Aunt Elle do you and Bonnie golf here?”
I say, “Elliot has played here and probably someday I will as well.”
I appreciate that the focus is now shifting over to my niece. My sister Lindsey invited Bonnie and me to accompany them to the restroom.
She was very supportive and gave me a hug. She also gave me a spray of her perfume, Blue Ice.
It was after our brunch that Jennifer told the others that I indeed was now a full Associate and meeting with my first clients out in Long Island, New York. “Lexi, while I wouldn’t force your uncle to change genders. He has started with a strong test in identifying with his first clients. I did insist on Elliot to embrace being a metro male. It had been a while since I Elliot had embraced his feminine identity. I wasn’t expecting him to go this far.”
“The truth is I wasn’t sure if he would forego the promotion and leave our firm. I am very proud Elle has decided to come out of her shell. She is not obligated to be Elle. I know she knows her professional stuff and embracing our business philosophy makes her that much better. I expect Elliot to be very successful.”
“Now Lexi, tell us all about yourself?”
To be continued…
Elle’s Coming Out
He’s been an ordinary research and finance person…
He’s to be the first male Associate…
The men of this company are required to wear unisex clothing.
=^_^=
My Niece Lexi asks, “Aunt Elle are you sure you’re comfortable being a woman?”
“Lexi thanks for caring. And ‘no’ I’m not but I think it’s time I step out of the shadows and try to become comfortable. I suspect, most of the time, I’ll be your Uncle Eliot.”
“Sorry to hear that. I kind of like seeing you as Aunt Elle and having boobs. I gather they’re not implants then.”
Once the dinner was over and I used the women’s room to clean up. Lexi and her Mom took Bonnie and me home. We did stop and both Lindsey and Lexi helped me to choose more makeup. Lexi said, “You also needed some heels that were not thick mule heels.” It was hard to believe she talked me into two pairs of 2 ½” heels with a 1/2” tip on the heels. The silver pair was the most attractive, along with a black pair also for dress up. Lexi said, “You can wear the black pair with almost anything.”
They stayed at the house another hour after we got there. My sister Lindsey pushed me to try on two other outfits; including my gray tux. Lexi insisted I try the silver heels while I was wearing the tux. I did admit that the outfit looked good for a woman, even me.
Once they were gone, Bonnie and I relaxed preparing ourselves for the week ahead. She had lesson planning and I selected the investments I was recommending and worked my presentations. More difficult was planning how to casually visit with Ms. Lourdes on Tuesday.
I decided I’d fly out Monday afternoon and be close to the Lourdes and their office out in Suffolk County.
Bonnie and I made the airline, hotel, and car rental arrangements I needed. I would be uncomfortable enough traveling as a metro male, but I decided it was something I needed to do. Impressing Ms. Lourdes that I would go out of my way to impress her was purely my decision.
I was becoming comfortable with embracing my feminine side. Making love with Bonnie as Elle capped a fantastic weekend. I would not have anticipated any of this just a week ago.
I was well rested after a great night’s sleep even though I got up early to finish packing. It was the most clothes I usually traveled with, but Bonnie insisted I needed not to be wearing clothes a second time during my visit. So she added a few items with my blessing.
Once to work, I was greeted by Jamie, “So was the rest of your weekend calm and boring after Friday night?” Once Katherine listened, part of my morning was down to Connie and picking something for dinner. There was a dress that I even dared to try. Katherine insisted I have it, though I did not plan to wear the dress.
She reviewed my recommendations and justification for Ms. Lourdes and my review of Sofia’s Earth Oils. Katherine says, “I want to apologize for insisting on the extra clothes and suitcase. I do know I intruded into your space, by treating you as a professional woman. I expect I will be eating some crow and taking you out for a special dinner after you’re back.”
Come 1:30 I was in a high price limo taking me to the airport. My bags were checked through and were to be taken to my hotel once I would arrive. I was given priority in seating as well as gotten through security with little hassle. When one woman said, “Enjoy your flight, Elle.” I just said thanks and picked up my feminine voice. I looked at my itinerary and ticket. They both had Elliot Elle Sanders.
Once on the ground in New York City and getting my car, I fully assumed Elle’s identity. The car having GPS was a big help, but the drive took longer than anticipated. Checking in I was addressed, “Ms. Elle Sanders, if you are famished like I expect; you are encouraged to take your time but please use our dining room by 9:30. We'll have kept it open for you.”
I freshened myself and dared to use color as I used more makeup. I checked about the Golden Goddess Health Spa. Where I was to meet Ms. Marjorie Lord. The fact that it was a women’s health spa troubled me, though I was relatively comfortable. I figured I had made the needed accommodations in going as far as I was comfortable with.
I wanted to be to the Golden Goddess Spa early but I didn’t expect to be thirty minutes early. I did mention that I planned to meet Ms. Marjorie Lourdes there.
A Director Morgan greets me, “You say it’s Elle Sanders? It’s nice to meet you. I can tell you’ve gone some extent to please Ms. Lourdes. I’m sure she’ll be impressed” I smile and she asks to meet with me privately. I went with her to their conference room.
“We were expecting a Mr. Sanders, though he wouldn’t have been able to use the facilities.” She is seeking to be cordial, “May I ask if you’re hoping to use the facilities with Ms. Lourdes?”
I say, “While I wasn’t anticipating using it all. I was hoping to find out what she was hoping to do. And what she might have wanted of me.”
Ms. Morgan says, “She usually spends five to seven hours and the latter is what’s scheduled for today.” Morgan compliments how nicely I present myself.
“Thank you, but I suspect you can see through me. Maybe I should just leave a note and plan to meet her later for dinner.”
She says, “There is an alternative that we might be able to help you with. If you are wearing forms that present you totally as a woman. It would be possible for you to spend the day with her. However, we’d help make sure the appliances are very good and well applied.”
Long story short, I had breast forms though not properly ‘applied’. She said, “We could help if you’re willing; there would not be any extra cost. But it would need to be more than the breast forms. More importantly, you need to convince us that it is something you want and you are not forced to do for business reasons.”
I didn’t intend to but I was now hoping to join Ms. Lourdes if she would have me. I went back out and waited for Ms. Lords who was a little late in her arrival. She was happy to see how I was. “I am quite impressed Elliot and I appreciate what you have done. I am going to suggest you relax and meet me later. I may even shorten my time here.”
I find myself as Elle speaking up, “Ms. Marjorie Lourdes, could I speak to you privately, before a decision is made.”
We were allowed to use the area I had been in when Director Morgan talked with me. “I don’t want to embarrass you, but if it is possible. I’d like to share this day as you planned if you are willing.”
I explained, “Long before, Ms. Jennifer Attwood asked me to be an Associate with LIFe and take you as a client. I had been suppressing my transgender identity. And while I came ill-prepared to share in this day Director Morgan says she could make it possible. I don’t want to embarrass you, but I’d like you to know it could be possible.”
Our Associates Katherine and Diana both told me Ms. Lourdes' facial expressions were next to impossible to read. This was my experience now. She paused to think and I was anxious but silent. I waited hoping she’d break the silence first.
She finally spoke up, “Please explain your request and why you would be open to it? I would not pressure you to do it.”
“I have come to see myself as a transgender woman,” I explained. “I am wanting to be with you that I might listen and learn about you, my client. Please excuse me, I’m afraid, I’m not explaining myself very well.”
Ms. Lourdes smiles before she speaks again, “I think you have expressed yourself very well. I am glad to hear of your openness.
“Now let me explain about my time here. If you are then still open I will be glad to have you with me. When I’m in the sauna, then the whirlpool, and have a massage I would want you to be with me. If you decide, we will be naked so we can relax and receive the full benefit of our salon experience. The afternoon will be more of a spa experience with time to relax and enjoy everything together. I would hope you’d relax and enjoy getting a makeover with me.”
“If you’re willing I will go into the pool and wait until you’re ready so we can begin together.”
“I’m nervous, but yes, I would like to share the day here.”
We go back out to Director Morgan and she says, “I called my helpers together. I’ll take you and we’ll get you ready for the day.”
I was to undress and to come back out to a bed that would be used as the preparation table. I came as requested with a large towel wrapped around my chest. Sitting up, we quickly picked a skin tone, breast size, and shape. I agreed with others about the skin tone. Sharon Morgan and others were happy that I chose a modest C cup size with a perky pear shape.
I chose them in part because they had the forms there in the skin tone we agreed upon. I knew Bonnie’s breasts completely fit her C-cup bras. She had mentioned that bigger was not better as breasts and bras took some getting used to.
When they went to attach the gaff; I had not realized it would require shaving around my male privates. It was very embarrassing but I had already committed myself. I tried not to look embarrassed, but when someone said breathe I realized it wasn’t a secret.
Maggie, one of the helpers, gave me a small hand-held mirror, saying, “Have your first vagina moment, if you will. Please remember you can wear this for five days or longer if need be. It is designed so you can use the toilet or even have a partner. If the latter you will need to read the instructions for cleaning yourself. Remember at those times that you’re a woman and shouldn’t let yourself smell gross like a man might.”
Sharon Morgan hands me a nice new bra and panty. And I mumbled, wishing I had time to return to my hotel to retrieve a nicer dress. She says, “Ms. Lourdes has one for you if you want it.”
It is a red evening dress which would not be my regular choice. It is however beautiful and appears to be my size. I tried it on and love how it fits and looks on me. I changed out of it into one of the robes spa guests use. The dress and accessories will await me at a private changing room of Marjorie Lourdes.
I am alone a few minutes when Ms. Lourdes comes in. Her expression is heartwarming as she looks to me. “My, you truly are Elle Sanders now. You look pleased as well.”
“Thank you, Ms. Lourdes. I am grateful to you for this opportunity. And yes, I am quite tickled.”
She is holding out a pair of terrycloth shorts suggesting we rid ourselves of our robes and delicate lingerie. With that, there is a hot sauna that we walk into. There is a mammoth kettle of steaming rocks around which several sauna booths are set. We can tell there are others, but we can neither see them nor understand anyone else.
Marjorie tells me that we are down to first names for the rest of the day. I had to catch myself as I’m enthralled with how marvelous Marjorie looks. I am suspecting she if fifty maybe older. Her breasts have a fullness and perky presence and they do not appear to be artificially enhanced. Though I’m not the best to judge that.
We were there for more than a half-hour and moved directly into a very warm whirlpool. I felt the tension melting away as muscles loosened. Our heads are back in floating pillows.
We each casually drink small bottles of water before moving to two massage tables. The ceilings were open that we might enjoy some fresh air. Two women helped to remove our shorts as they requested we lay on our backs. Ty talked to me as Marjorie’s massage therapist was doing with her. She noticed my eyes begin to tear, and asked if they were sad or happy tears.
Choked with emotion, I said, “This is too wonderful. I do not deserve this. I can’t even believe I get to enjoy such a time.”
Ty says, “Your spirit is experiencing more than it knew before. It brings me joy to share this moment with you. How long has it been since you realized the woman inside of you?”
It was then that I recognized Ty as a helper in putting on my appliances.
I turned my focus to visit with Marjorie. That was especially helpful in not being overly conscious of me. Marjorie was born in a small village in upstate New York. It was there she first became interested in the natural properties of plants and nature in general. Her parents had nurtured her desire to learn, despite others wanting to suppress her interests in science and math.
It was time for us to turnover and the women attending us to massage our backs, necks, and on down our legs and feet. The time was wonderful until Ty was rubbing inside my thighs. Marjorie’s Masseuse was at the same place.
I had never been as sensitive there as I was now. Erotic, sensual feelings were welling up in me in no small way. I sought to muffle my sounds, but I heard Marjorie say as she moaned. “I cannot understand how you can dampen your pleasure. Does this not bring your body to a song?”
Marjorie said, “My biggest regret, is I need this help to keep my juices active. If you end up learning more, this may help you with your friend Bonnie. She will be needed to help you learn even more. It would be something she was never taught in school. Hopefully, you’re neither too old nor too prudish to learn.”
I’m coming to like Marjorie Lourdes stinging, straightforward wit. Finally, we’re done; we both are wearing two-piece bathing suits after we walk through a shower of refreshing water into a pool. It is warm and refreshing. I can’t believe it as I am treading water with Marjorie and a handful of other women. There are small islands with plants and flowers. Swimming around we find an area with our own table and we get out. We wrap ourselves in short robes.
Both water and sweet sun tea are brought to us. We ordered lunch to be ready for us after we shower and change. While we were there and offered our lunch, some friends and staff warmly greet Ms. Lourdes and welcome me.
I am amused as I maintain Elle’s voice and I’m picking up more feminine mannerisms such as sitting straight, taking small bites, and become part of the conversation.
We are finishing our meal when Sophia Lourdes finds us. She gives her mom a hug and a kiss. She turns to me, “I am pleased to see and meet you, but is it, Elliot or Elle Sanders?”
I begin to rise, though Sofia says I don’t need to. “I like being referred to as Elle in this persona, thank you.”
She says, “I hope this has been your decision to present yourself this way.”
“If it is okay, won’t you please join us and I’ll explain.” Sophia sits and from her purse, she draws a small gift bag. “This is for you or a friend if you wish.” Sophia is in a pretty print dress with spaghetti straps.
We are quiet and both looking to Marjorie Lourdes. “We are done with this portion of our time and onto the salon this afternoon.” She turns to her daughter, “Are you going to the spa or will you join us in the salon?”
“If you two don’t mind I will have a small bite to eat as you have a dessert and drink.” We allowed Sophia to order and then we order our dessert and tea.
They continued to ask questions of me while revealing further of themselves. I enjoyed a fresh fruit tart with a mint iced tea for dessert as Sophia’s lunch had come. I watched her as a younger woman watching a starlet. She truly is refined grace in motion.
Sephrena Duer is my beautician and she begins by washing and conditioning my hair. Having my head cradled in a sink with a woman over me washing my hair is surely another step into a woman’s world. Looking up seeing her beautiful blue eyes focusing on what she’s doing while carrying a conversation with me. That’s only when Sophia, Marjorie, and I are not talking.
Sephrena is suggesting to cut my hair shorter, though it will still be medium length and longer than women with a short-styled cut. Sophia encourages me saying it will be a good length and style for a businesswoman. Seph even promises me directions for making a male appropriate style. If I came back Friday afternoon she’d even brush it out to that style.
I had given over my hotel room key to Marsha; Sophia’s aide. I would be having dinner at Ms. Lourdes senior as well as staying with her tonight. I am a little nervous about Marsha seeing my belongings. My investment information and recommendations are locked and shouldn’t be disturbed in being moved.
Sephrena has a gentle laugh as most of what is being cut has split ends and straggly hair in need of attention. I am both excited and a bit nervous about the healthy, glistening hair as she’s cutting and combing out my hair. She hadn’t known I was a man until I worried about how I might transform my look.
She asked for investment hints and I gave her information comparable to what I have suggested to Bonnie. She tells me what the spa/salon does for its employees. While it is okay; I say it is less than desirable.
I am soon back to visiting with Ms. Lourdes and Sophia, who were having a short meeting among themselves. Ms. Lourdes has two Golden Retrievers that have the run of her estate. A Shih Tzu indoors along with Senorita, a long-hair Persian cat, as well as Windsor a male Maine-Coon cat. Ms. Lourdes enjoys dabbling with her plants and trees in and around the property. Both, Lourdes said, they like working out and staying fit which is very apparent in their appearance.
It originally was hard listening under the hairdryers, as I didn’t know there was a sound control I could adjust. By the time my hair was dry and being brushed out; I felt inundated with information. So far I believe I have kept straight the information pertaining to the two Lourdes. I was, however, becoming fearful I might not last till the evening.
As Elle, I am in second heaven seeing my hair-do. It is attractive, with a nice body and waves throughout. I saw some of my hair cut, but what I’m seeing affirms not much was taken. My hair is pinned as Ty is doing my makeup and Louisa is doing my nails. Both complement what others had started in taking care of my skin and nails. Yet there is a noticeable improvement again this time.
Marsha had sent back a picture of my dinner dress. I have trouble imagining blue nails or Ty giving me a hint of smoky eyes with a blue eyeshadow.
We have time to relax and have a drink before we leave for the Lourdes’ estate. True to Ms. Lourdes' word the evening is for visiting and delighting in our time together. Sophia says, “Marsha says, you have a beautiful dinner dress. I was wondering if you’d mind waiting for tomorrow night to wear it. You might have something to celebrate after you speak to my mother tomorrow.”
I’m surprised that she thinks her mother would be making quick decisions on her investments and my recommendations. I say, “I wouldn’t want to speculate with you about your mother. But, I would like to ask you if I’ll have an opportunity to meet with you?”
Sophia says, “Most certainly, I was hoping you would be willing to go over my investments with me. I will enjoy seeing you just as a business person and hopefully a friend that I invest with.”
I smile as it sounds like going the extra step has dividends. Near the end of our visit, I compliment Sophia on her earrings as she is wearing two sets. Sophia says, “There was a pair I thought I saw you looking at?”
“Yes, but I’m not here for me.”
She smiles, “Was it the wavy blue lines?” I acknowledge they were, “They look like a water stream and would go with the dinner dress you spoke of.”
Sophia, “Let’s go and look; I’d like to get a pair too.” Once we’re looking I’m asked to sit and have a second piercing. I bit my tongue as the earrings would cost me a hundred thirty dollars, plus the piercings.
Taking out my charge card, I find out it has gone to Sophia’s bill despite my objection. I had accomplished the small feat of buying our lunch.
I drive my rental, a Chrysler 300; taking both Marjorie and Sophia with me. Once we reach elder Ms. Lourdes estate, its all of two-tenths of a mile from the gate to the front steps. I’m escorted to my room on the second floor. My clothes, business case, and computer are all there. Clothes hung or put in drawers; my computer is on a beautiful table and my attractive business case nearby. I checked my system and could tell no one breached its security or even tried.
I had been told that my dinner dress was too fancy for tonight, but that a red dress was suitable. There was a red dress, not the one from the spa but another I had not remembered seeing it before. It had to be mine since it fit and looked well on me. There was a new pair of delicate white stockings that Marsha brought to my room.
The dinner is exquisite and it is delightful to have Sophia’s daughters Joslin, five, and Maria three. They are well mannered but also adorable children acting their ages. Sean her husband is away on a trip. Though their home is nearby they will be staying here tonight.
The three of us adults relax listening to music playing in the background. Sophia is cuddling her oldest Joslin, while Maria has fallen asleep in my lap. Marjorie makes light of my way with children being a good sign...

He’s to be the first male Associate…
He’s the Man of this company who made it
And things are now different.

The acceptance and support I’m receiving help me to see the importance of seeing my women clients for who they are. Previously, I often took a superior position of knowing better. Likewise, I had been resenting my feminine side as one of embracing weakness. Guilt and hurt were fading away as I cuddled Maria on my lap. Maria is my client Sophia’s youngest girl.
I kissed Maria’s forehead as my eyes became watery. There was a flash; I looked over to Sophia to see she had taken a picture. “As Mom would often say, ‘A penny for your thoughts.’”
Elle calmly spoke, “You would think it’s silly.”
Marjorie speaks, “I suspect both of us would see it as tender and beautiful.”
“I guess, maybe you would.” I opened myself up and told her. “I had seen this side of me as a weakness. With Maria in my lap and the support you have shown to me’ it is like pieces of a puzzle are falling into their proper place. I only wish Bonnie were here to enjoy this moment.”
Sofia says, “It sounds like she has been supportive of this side of you? I would say you’re a blessed person if you have a special friend like that. I don’t think that usually happens."
Changing the subject, "I think we’re eager to find out if you’re as good with investments.”
Sofia realizes that Joslin is also becoming drowsy and asks, “Would you mind helping me to get the girls to bed.” I stood up with Maria in my arms and Sofia’s guiding her older daughter. Once we’re in a large room with two small beds, she has Joslin lay down and takes Maria from me. “Please sit and talk with me as I get the girls in their sleepwear.” I thought she’d have a nanny; she tells me, “There are some that will help me and take care of them during the day and other times if I want. I try always to take some time during the day to be with them. But first in the morning and come evening it’s my delight to be Mom.”
She tells me of a time a potential customer belittled her for allowing a daughter to come into her office. The woman told her, “I don’t know if I can do business with you in an atmosphere like this.” Seemingly the woman was about Sophia’s age and also had two children.
Sophia told her, “I understand, but if and when you understand, please come back. We do have the quality of the products you’re looking for. Feel free to bring one of your children if you ever become comfortable with that.” Sophia said, “Marilyn has come back and we’ve become very good friends. She also seems happier.”
=^_^=
When Sophia and her mom decided it was time to turn in; Sophia gave me a small mirror. “You might want to do a little vagina gazing. If so, this will help.”
I couldn’t help but smile and quietly went to my room.
There I prepared for bed and thought of what Sofia suggested. Getting the mirror I set myself against the headboard and began gazing. Soon I was lost in thought as a woman. I began to yearn that I could truly look like the woman I am. When my hands rubbed the sides of my legs, there was a sensual sensation. I had not experienced it, except with Bonnie’s attention.
Trying to go to sleep I was restless with feelings and thoughts overwhelming me. I was tired but couldn’t sleep. I thought I was reasonably quiet until I heard a whisper at the door.
When I responded; she cracked opened the door handing me a swimsuit. “Try this and I’ll meet you at the pool.”
Shortly afterward we began swimming, Sophia asked: “Are you worried about your presentation tomorrow or too much from today?” Sophia was like a sister with the wisdom of her own. I was sure she wanted to be there for me.
Once out of the pool, she had me rinse my hair, then gave me shampoo and I was soon rinsing and patting out my hair. She brushed it out and gave me a hair net. “If I wrecked your hairdo with my idea we’ll have a beautician come here to redo it.”
Needless to say, I fell peacefully asleep and wasn’t awake until 7:30, which was 6:30 a.m. where I lived.
Ms. Marjorie Lourdes had gone to work at 7:00 as she’s a morning person. Sophia’s girls had breakfast with me. Sophia drove me to Sophia’s Earth Oils and then went onto her company. Jennifer Woods, a VP, gave me a tour of the plant, the research area, and we ended up with the administrative offices.
I was now grateful for all the research I had done as it would help me this morning. Come 10:30 I was introduced to others at the end of their meeting. Ms. Lourdes handed me a cup of coffee as she was asking if I wanted it. I was certain she knew it was important to my morning start.
I began, Eoliche Euro Incorporazione an Italian wind energy company that is successfully making its way into the wider European market. Maria Bertella leads a group of women engineers and businesswomen. I think it would be a good investment personally for you and even for your company to strengthen your own positions.
Jennifer Woods has told me about some new research you, she, and others were doing. It was actually more into the general field of medicine relating to some major illnesses. She told me their big question was: 1) do they develop these new health products or 2) sell it for others to develop. Marjorie seemingly did not trust some of those who would potentially be interested in it. These products use in developing and third world countries meant too much to trust the not so caring nature of some medical and pharmaceutical companies. She said, “Even the merchandising in America could easily get out of control in unscrupulous hands.”
It was after 11:00 when Marjory Lourdes was open to meeting with me about her personal investments. I present the other investments that I research and would meet her general investment criteria. American Fashion Network, JESS Apparel operated under the auspices of Jaqueline Wilson. Craig Technologies, Inc. in Florida, operated by CEO Carol Craig. She is both technologically savvy as well as having a great business mind. Eoliche Euro Incorporazione an Italian wind energy company led by C.O.E. Maria Bertella who leads a group of women engineers and businesswomen as majority owners. And then there were CompuMed Appliances in the Midwest that I verified its status just Monday noon. Rebecca Nomes and associates were based out of Dubuque, Iowa. It was established twelve years ago when Rebecca manufactured her own device for her daughter to recover from debilitating injuries. The focus has been to aid a person’s ongoing recovery or development of skills or abilities beyond initial recovery.
We began meeting over lunch and continued until 1:30 p.m. Marjorie visited with Maria Bertella and members there via an international hooked up at 3:00 p.m. our time and 11:00 p.m. their time. But it was more than worth it as Marjorie was not wanting to make $150,000 investment, but a three million dollar investment that Bertella’s group could leverage by a multiplying factor of ten or better.
CompuMed Appliances was seeking an investment of $250-300,000. Ms. Lourdes sought to become a major investor with them with annual investments of $200,000 each over the next three years. There were safety clauses built-in for both concerns. They were not there for problems either had with the other, just good business practices.
Marjorie’s last choice was American Fashion Network, JESS Apparel. She deemed that it was a good investment in a sector that she was not highly invested in. Thus it would bring a needed balance to her portfolio.
She did suggest I suggest Craig Technologies to Sofia. We wrapped up our work, formalizing things before we headed back to her estate at 6:00 p.m. I did not expect as she requested that we dress up and go celebrate yet tonight. New York City has a nighttime mentality that was new to me.
Sofia would be with us while her children were taken care of at their home. We traveled by helicopter into Manhattan. Running in 3” heels while covering my hair in and out of the helicopter was a new experience. The celebration venue was a small private club. The band is an up and coming band having major success with hits and downloads via the larger web.
The singer Carly came over after hearing I was celebrating tonight. The fact that Elle works with women in investing struck her interests. Before going back to sing one more set of songs, she gave me a hug and air kiss. Others asked aloud, what was special with me that got me extra attention. I was flattered with others noticing me as well as Carly. Sofia and I were near the front of those up on their feet near the band. Someone asked us as a group to dance for the cameras as Carly’s group was singing over an internet hookup. Sofia tugged me to dance as her partner. We enjoyed playing off of one another. The more I got excited and involved in the dancing, I enjoyed it.
All this was new to me and added to my experience. It was 2:00 a.m., we helped to close the club. The helicopter lifting off a high flight deck for the flight back was a spectacle I never expected to see.
It was an emotionally draining day as I dragged myself off the ‘copter and we made our way to the house. I was planning to fall into bed and take care of things in the morning. Sofia said, “I’d have Annabelle help you get ready for bed if I didn’t think it would freak-out the two of you.” Against my protest, I had a 27-year-old, millionaire helping me.
I bemoaned what it was probably doing to my future in having her as an investment client. I should have known better than that, Sophia was not looking at it as a negative occurrence.
I didn’t remember taking a shower nor getting into my sleep lingerie. Come morning Sophia was amused, “You handled yourself very lady-like last night. Who taught you how to take care of your makeup and skin like that?”
I asked, “Who helped me, I don’t remember anything?”
Sophia gave a light giggle, “I asked Annabelle to help you, but she said you refused her help. I went in to ask why and ended up talking to you as you took care of yourself. Once you did call me Bonnie. Is that who taught you. You should still take a shower before breakfast and then you can help me with my investments.”
“Thank you, as I think you helped more than you're saying. I don’t remember much after getting back here.”
“You’re welcome. After breakfast here, I’d like for us to go to my place. My girls won’t interrupt us, but I would like to be near them. When we take breaks I can see them. Maybe we can walk outside with them in the garden or arboretum.”
Elliot said, “I would enjoy that.” But it was Elle, not Elliot speaking. Elliot knew he wasn’t two people, but for so long it was as Elliot that he was visible. Sophia was stereotypically thinking of Elle as the one who would enjoy relating to her daughters.
I went to grab my computer and investment information for Sophia. Sophia said, “Why don’t you bring everything over to my house and stay with us a night or two.” It was a hassle to repack everything as Elle. And I thought twice about staying overnight with a young woman even though her husband was said to be coming home.
“Oh, I didn’t mean you had too,” said Sophia.
“I wasn’t sure; I would be happy too if you don’t think it’s inappropriate. I have two nieces and a nephew that I enjoy taking time with.”
The first investment I mentioned was the Brazilian women’s coffee coop, They were seeking to take over 350 acres of coffee groves as well as to establish their own wholesale distribution center in New Jersey between the markets of New York City and Philadelphia. I suggested a sight north of Philadelphia inside of Pennsylvania. There were plenty of incentives for the location.
Sophia did well with the visual hookup that I arranged with Rafaela and Louisa in their providence. Rafaela was appreciative of the new site for their wholesale business. She also mentioned beginning two retail businesses. Louisa had thoughts of coming to New York to have oversight of them.
I was surprised when Sophia spoke saying she’d be willing to partner with them if one retailer was in Manhattan and the other out on Long Island within 30-40 miles of her home. While the partnership would allow for another two retail cafes, it was agreed they wouldn’t be for at least a year after the first two were established and proved successful.
I watch the three women visit and noted many details of their unfolding agreement. I had an agreement for investing in the Brazilian Women’s Coop. Sophia was adamant that the agreement and purchase of the coffee grove could not in any way intrude to rainforest land.
Rafaela’s reply was, “You send me $25,000 and we will match it for reestablishing the rainforest by taking some land out of production. It will be attached to an existing rainforest. I think that is best. You can come and see some great changes in your lifetime.” Seemingly Rafaela knew about the interest of some Americans about Sophia’s age and background. “We have no land taken from the rainforest, and we’re even more interested in reestablishing land taken out of it.”
I had kept and written the details of their agreements. I already had an informal agreement ready to sign on the initial investment. I was utilizing Dottie, my assistant, to formalize the ongoing agreements. They would be good enough to establish the basis for the expanding investment and working agreement. What I originally thought would be a quarter of million in investments was now be a 1.3 million dollar investment in their Brazilian Coop. A half a million dollars more would be invested in the U.S. based coop to establish wholesale and retail trade. Both Sophia and the Brazilian women were leaning heavily upon me to work out the agreement.
Neither wanted the possible failure of liability of the latter to become a liability for the original Coop or for Sophia or her corporation. Donna Clayton, Sophia’s lawyer would write out her versions of such agreements. Clayton and Clayton of the Hamptons is a viable and long-established Long Island firm. I would have actually been happy with them doing much more of the paperwork. My responsibility was to assure everyone that the contract was in fact what was agreed upon.
It would take a month because my boss Jennifer Atwood and I did differ with Donna Clayton’s version and stuck with our documents until it was straightened out.
Craig Technologies, Inc. was not as exciting to Sophia, but the investment would broaden her investment. It would be part of liquidating a previous investment that had passed its days. We sold an investment that was becoming a liability for one now that is solid with a good future. If it does as I expect Sophia’s investment in Craig Technologies would have the possibility within five years of tripling the investment along with giving 10% growth dividends during that time.
CEO Carole Craig had again done well in her presentation and in fielding Sophia’s questions. The funds coming out of the investment she was selling off were over a hundred thousand dollars above what Ms. Lourdes had planned to invest. That last hundred thousand though made Sophia the second-biggest investor only behind Carole herself. She invested the full amount just over $400,000.
That done, I had held Maria at lunchtime and now late afternoon; I relaxed cuddling Maria. She had been outside much of the morning or inside swimming. She was exhausted, but very talkative while in my arms.
Sophia was off with Joslin to get Edwardo Anders-Lourdes flying into the airport. A rested Maria and I would join them at a nice restaurant along the ocean coast around 8:00 p.m.
I could tell Edward as he preferred to be called was amused to see the Elle Sanders version of the person he expected Sophia to be working with. He complimented me, “Do you know how hard it is to get Sophia to move on with her old and new investments?”
Sophia spoke up, “She did well in her presentation. I could see vivid stories unfolding in the investments. I could see myself in the middle of the Brazilian women walking over the coffee filled hills. I invested in the women’s story of women becoming stronger. I will even be giving help to re-establishing part of the rainforest.”
After ordering our food, Sophia and I made use of the women’s restroom. My blouse was misshaped by Maria’s hands. I had not felt them get in and under my blouse. Needless to say, my breast forms did no help in alerting me.
It was nice to see that my presence, enabled the Lourdes to dance as well as relax. A man they knew, came over to our table when they returned from dancing. “Sophie would you mind if I asked your friend for a dance or two.”
Knowing, she kind of set me up. She replied, “By all means take her for a couple of dances. She should be rewarded for all she had done this week.” Joslin echoed their Mom’s insistence.
“Elle, Robert is an old friend and a high spirited gentleman. When you dance with him, do not give him a free rein or you might be sorry.” My hand was already in his as I was standing to go dance. My head was saying ‘no’ all the while I made my way to the dance floor, by the second dance I had relaxed.
I had smelled his cologne before but never with the person I was dancing with. I can’t say it felt bad, but I am glad to be flying out tomorrow. Seeing Bonnie and having things return to normal would be great.
Come morning and a good night's sleep I felt good for my flight back. The trip had been successful beyond what I could have hoped for. Seeing Bonnie and being able to relax as Elliot filled most of my thinking. I had help in packing, getting instructions on how to fold or hang my clothes.
It was Janice Cooper, Marjorie’s Administrative Assistant who escorted me to the airport and makes sure I am in the correct line. Then she received a call and had been called away.
I am plenty early, but I have been in the ticket line twenty minutes when I hear a call of my name to report to the ‘luggage area’. I meander back through the maze leaving the line. There were a few unhappy campers grumbling as I made my way out.
I did not use to finding the luggage area from the ticket line. Security stopped me and had me take a route that was narrow and poorly marked. Security quizzed me twice why I needed to go-to luggage. They’re not happy that I don’t know. Someone would take me most of the way but finally, I was left on my own.
Once there, I see Dana waving to me. She is standing with someone’s luggage. My phone rings and it is Bonnie, “Look closer in front of you. You looked at me but must not have recognized or expected to see me.”
I said, “Why should I be looking for you. I’m still in New York City.”
Bonnie soon appears right in front of me, ready to hug me. “Because I came to see you. The Lourdes want us to share the weekend with them.”
We hug and kiss and then make our way back to Bonnie’s suitcases. Ms. Dana has an envelope with room keys to the St Regis Hotel in Manhattan for two nights. There is a paper with instructions to quickly go register at the hotel, buy dresses for an evening out on the town tonight and make it to salon appointments come 3:30 p.m.
I’m talking to myself, “How am I to pay for all this.” Bonnie answers, “Your Aunt said, you made more than enough to pay for it. She also said, "You can write some to it off as a business expense.”
We get to the Regis and the desk is holding our reservation and getting a bell boy to take our luggage. They ask, “Ms. Elle Sanders have you and your friend ever stayed with us before.” I’m wondering if we’re to be questioned. Constance the Manager personally welcomes us. “You chose a nice suite with plenty of amenities. Please feel free to use them and call if we can be of any added assistance. Ms. Marjorie Lourdes thinks well of you and requests we treat you especially well.” Constance at the Regis had suggested two women’s stores neither inexpensive.
We get hot dogs from a street vendor and think it is a treat. We used up a lot of time at one store and there was too much to choose from and the price shock froze me. The second place was FreePeople; it was anything but free. Bonnie said we previously wasted time and needed to enjoy ourselves and pay what we needed to get what we wanted. The red mini dress has long sleeves and an open front scared me but it is beautiful and will be fun to wear. It should be $240. Bonnie’s Briella mini is a pastel blue and is attractive and we will complement each other.
When we return to the Regis, Constance meets us asking if she can see our dresses. We’re ready to go up to our room when she asks if we have silk stockings or have ever worn them. Bonnie has worn them but neither of us has any with us. Constance asks, “Would it be okay if I have a couple of pairs sent up for each of you?”
We agreed and later Bonnie is answering our door as I’m getting out of the shower. The stockings in New York City would have been pricy anyway but now through the hotel, they’re at premium costs. Seventy-five a pair, we were to select only one pair, but nothing opened could be returned.
Unfortunately, the shade of the first is wrong for my dress. My ankle boots with the narrow heel will work nicely with the second pair of stockings and my outfit.
To be continued…
Back to Business
He’d been an ordinary research and finance person…
He’s the first male Associate… And things are now different.
=^_^=
Elliot had worked hard the past year taking only a small portion of his vacation. Now he had a message from his boss Jennifer, “Take a few days, but be back here by late Monday and solidify all you have accomplished by the close of work Tuesday. Your deserved vacation is probably two months away. You’ve earned another client account, we will talk about her when you are settled back in here.”
“The next part is personal and I can only suggest things to you. How you handle things with your family once you’re back here will be totally up to you. I do suggest you communicate with your Mother and sister about this emerging side of you. From what you say your sister probably already knows some and is supportive. What I hear from my sister, indicates your mother doesn’t even know you’ve been promoted. Since I keep your work here confidential, what you tell her is up to you. But things are awkward for me and my sister at the present time.”
It is good to hear from Jennifer and as soon as I’m done I’m hugging Bonnie. She is still not used to me hugging her in public when I’m presenting as Elle. And presently I’m trying on the dress I plan to buy and wear tonight.
She is amused yet as we dress up in our suite for our night out. “You know Elle you have been acting like a giddy girl all afternoon. While I can appreciate how you must feel. I hope it will be the more mature and sophisticated woman I love who’s present tonight.”
I agree, “You’re right Bonnie and it is as such I want to celebrate this evening with you and the Lourdes. Though I have no idea of the evening’s itinerary.
Marjorie says, her other daughter Louise Stanford is coming and she’s looking forward to meeting us. It should be interesting to meet her; she’s a full professor at Brown University and I suspect very intellectual.
Bonnie checks over the makeup I have out to put on and she changes the eyeshadow I have out for a different color and hands me one of her necklaces. I look to her with appreciation. She comments, “It would have been okay your way. I am impressed with your change in confidence and ability in taking care of yourself Elle.”
One of the difficulties of the evening with both dressing like we are; is the restraint it puts on our displays of affection to one another. Bonnie says, she finds it more pleasing to her tastes. Even now I know my feminine side is growing in feelings and I tend to feel more sensual than usual. Like Bonnie has stated it is a deeper emotion than the primal sexual feelings.
The phone rings and it is the desk; they're asking if it would be okay for Sophia and Edward Lourdes to come up. Bonnie says, “Yes. I can let them in and you should be ready once you put in your earrings and check your evening purse.”
I pour four glasses of white wine that we can greet them with. When Sophia and Edward reached our suite they’re a bit more formally dressed. While Bonnie was comfortable that we were dressed properly for the night, I was more anxious.
Sophia’s eyes widened as she saw us but then smiled. “Wow aren’t you two dressed well for the evening.”
I began to apologize and was cut short by Sophia, “Please don’t.”
“First let me introduce you to Bonita Kelley and Bonnie this is Sophia Lourdes and her husband Edward. I thank you for the surprise of flying Bonnie here and arranging for our accommodations.
“Jennifer Atwood and Lioness Investments are pleased if this means our time here has benefited you.”
Bonnie suggested, “Elle if you’d get your purse and check it and yourself. We’d be ready to go.” I went to our bedroom suite and picked up the hand purse she told me to use. In the bathroom, I checked myself in the mirror. I freshened my lips and used my eyelash wand to separate my lashes again. Putting the lip-gloss into my purse as well as the wand, mascara and my compact. I was ready to go. I was going to check my pocket for a handkerchief but that reminded me to put a small lace handkerchief into my purse. I enjoyed that as small as the purse was, it was only lightly filled.
Once back, we sat and sipped our wine. Sophia was waiting for a call that her sister had arrived and everyone was ready to go to dinner. A limousine was waiting to take us out for the evening was another sweet treat. I felt for Edward that he was the only man there.
It was interesting to meet Ph.D. Louise Lourdes Stanford. She was possibly three years older than me. She was quite attractive and not what I’d think of a professor of an Ivy League School. While she was at first reserved, but then she relaxed and enjoyed herself.
She gave me her contact information saying she’d be interested in talking to me about her investments. Thinking they’d be very modest; I was surprised to learn she had two patents that she received income from. It reminded me to listen and wait before making assumptions.
The dinner had numerous courses, small portions and names I hardly recognize. The food and drinks were fantastic, yet pale in comparison to our gathering around the table.
There was a five-member ensemble or just a pianist that rotated and provided live music. Eventually, people began to dance. That was when four men came and asked to dance with us. Marjorie and Bonnie agreeing and Sophie and Edward dancing, kind of set me up and I ended up dancing with Liam. Come to the second dance I found myself relaxed and leaning my head on his strong shoulder.
After dessert, Bonnie and I danced at which time she suggested I offer to dance with Marjorie Lourdes. Ms. Lourdes thanked me and we enjoyed our dance together. We called the evening to a close early and went to our rooms. The Lourdes had a more exquisite suite across from us as they planned for us go to a Broadway play Saturday evening. The day was free for Bonnie and me. We did choose to enjoy breakfast with them in their suite.
We did some shopping; getting two outfits for Bonnie here was my joy for the afternoon. Bonnie had selected a delicate gold necklace with a beautiful diamond. Another time the cost would have been too much. We made the weekend an exception and we got that necklace and a similar one for her. Most of the cost was mine, though Bonnie was able to feel she purchased the one she planned for me. Our necklaces were noticed come the Broadway play and a late dinner out. We were delighted to see Anastasia and even had backstage passes for after the performance.
Once back to our suite Bonnie and I were excited to be alone again. Bonnie knew I was excited about something, but I had put off telling her what it was. Finally, she said, “Before we go to bed, I wish you would share what has you so excited?”
I go to my purse and get a little box. I had taken it with us thinking I’d possibly give it to her at dinner. I had bought it without her knowing at the jewelry store. Bending in my short skirt, glad I was Elle doing this.
“Bonnie, maybe I should have wait as one success doesn’t solidify my future. You urged me and I am so excited! Will you marry me, Bonnie?”
I have the ring in hand wanting to place it on her finger. Bonnie’s face is glowing, yet she pauses. Finally, “Elle, I am glad it is you who is asking. You seem to have the biggest appreciation of my love for you. Yes, I will marry you.” Tears came to my eyes and I believe hers as well.
My eyes can’t see clearly as we’re undressing one another. I am not sure if I was pushed or led backward. Both of us are burning with passion, but it is Bonnie taking charge and climbing on me. I was sure she was wanting to make sure she too enjoyed the moment. It was after the first time that Bonnie took me into her and allowed me to orgasm while I was in her. The explosion of emotions and the euphoria of our bodies had never climaxed as they did tonight.
Bonnie finally led us to the bathroom reminding me that like her I had the makeup to take off and a complexion to take care of. Having done so she pushed me into a cool shower that soon heated up. We enjoyed washing one another.
We both had the desire to calmly cuddle with one another as we would drift asleep.
Come morning after casually walking and going to breakfast, we had a limo waiting to take us to enjoy a day in a beach cottage. Their idea of a beach cottage was more extravagant than ours. We were unloading our things when Sophia and her girls arrived. Joslin and Maria were giggly as I introduced them to Bonnie. Sophia gushed “Congratulations you love birds, I am happy for you!”
Joslin asked Bonnie, “I think Elle is your boyfriend even though I like her as a Mommy person.”
Bonnie responded saying, “I do too. Doesn’t she make a beautiful woman?”
Maria made her way into Elle’s arms, snuggles. “You quit teasin’ her she’s my fwend.” Sophia gave Elle a small hug, “You’ve made more friends. I appreciate you sharing your time with my girls, more than you know. I hope it is always you who comes back. I will understand if it is not.”
The water was cold, so only once did we make it all the way into the ocean. But Elle wasn’t thinking as they sunbathed. She did have to go back in up to her waist as Maria insisted she wanted to swim with Elle. Once Maria’s feet touched the water she changed her mind. Unfortunately, she had become very cold again and her boy parts shriveled in the cold water. The girl tan Elle got today wasn’t anything she thought about where Elliot was concerned. The evening was simple around the fireplace sipping wine, eating rolls with some cheese. Sophia and Edwardo enjoyed watching their daughters.
The girls wanted to come to bed with us, but we stood our ground as we had our own plans. A negligee that Bonnie provide as sexy enough that she worked me out of it, before having her way with me.
We woke early and enjoyed walking the beach before breakfast. It was a leisurely morning as we weren’t flying out until after 3:00 in the afternoon. Our arrival home was four thirty in the afternoon with the time change.
My sister Lindsey and her daughter Lexi met us to give us a ride home from the airport. We had not planned a stop at the Audi dealer with a look at the RDX crossover, but it did hit a responsive chord with Elle. They had three Elle/Elliot would have been interested in. The off-white used model was to be held until closing Wednesday afternoon. And though Elliot’s car was much less desirable, he would give it to Lexi to have or trade in for a car she and her mother like for her.
Lindsey seeing my new clothes said, “I think you are probably going to have a problem acclimating back to your work clothes after this.”
“I know what you mean Sis, but I’m feeling better about my future here. It will be helpful to be back here. I need time to find a new normal. So much has happened in the past two weeks.”
Bonnie gives me a hug once we’re back onto our apartment. This time it is me who is anxious to make love to her. I was ready to go to sleep after we were finished, but Bonnie pulls me out of bed. You and I both have to take care of our makeup. If you’re enjoying this side of you, you need to be more responsible for yourself.
“I was happy to hear Sophia and Marjorie say you did pretty well as a woman. But it also meant there is some good room for improvement.”
Getting up in time to dress and get ready for the day; it is Elliot with a feminine touch that gets ready. Bonnie is excited to get back to teaching. She knows the other teachers will be wanting to hear about her quick trip to the Big Apple. Her student will be interested as well with different interests.
Her close friend Aria, another teacher, is the first to become suspicious when she sees a picture of Bonnie and her beautiful dress, but not Elliot. “Where’s Elliot? I’m sure you took at least a selfie with him. Give? What’s up?” When Aria finally saw Bonnie’s engagement ring at lunchtime; the word was quickly around the school”
Bonnie tried to deflect Aria away from her other questions.
Elliot’s other Associates were excited for him and the lunch break celebrated what he had done as well as others. Elliot is brought back to reality as his achievements are the regular business for many of the others.
There’s been a change on the floor Steph Oliver had relinquished her position to raise her young family and with that, a new Associate Jessica Carvell was hired away from Chase in NYC. She is to be the third Associate who will split her time between our corporate office and a position in New York City. She will be the second Associate splitting time there. Veronica (Ronnie) Hampton R2 the second partner with Jennifer would be set up and lead LIFe’s New York office.
Today all the Associates we in their offices and taking time for lunch. Jessica visited with me as she was well familiar with New York City. Hope Forrest my former co-worker downstairs is now her Office Manager HF10. Hope made a delightful laugh as she saw my feminine side in all its glory and heard of my work with the Lourdes.
While Jessica was warm she’s eight years older and much more accomplished. It was more me listening to her. She was in fact very charming and interesting to listen too. She hoped to soon be working here two days and in the Apple a long three days, being at home with her family.
Hope was happy with her change and had reasons to be shared with me in private later. I was pretty sure she’s looking to become Associate sixteen or seventeen. We both anticipate Jessica to permanently be in New York within two or three years if not sooner.
The second day back I came as Elle and would be going to buy my new car. I had search for other cars online and decided on the Audi RDX if I could get what I wanted for what I wanted to spend. Fortunately their sales associate Dane did not talk down to me. However, he didn’t encourage my desire to buy the ivory RDX for the price I wanted. “Elle, we can sell you what you want but it will only be $2500 less the than the new one with its rebates and incentives.”
“I want you to present my price and conditions to whoever is needed. It is my offer to buy it and my final price.” I presented it with confidence, concluding my statement, “I am a Lioness Investments Associate.” Within the hour I had my car for a lower price and they would pick it up in the morning at work.
The 2017 model would soon be a two-year-old model, but with the pampering I requested it should be an excellent car, barely having over 9,000 miles. Between the new car and my second time as Elle to stop at Bonnie’s school; several students realized Bonnie had a special boyfriend. One girl confronted me, “I know you are Special to Miss Kelley, but you can’t be her boyfriend. Don’t you think he’s going to be angry with you?”
I said, “What makes you so sure I’m not a boy?”
“There’s no way you can be? Plus he would have bought a different car. We’ve seen what he likes and this is too girly. It’s a beautiful car, but it’s a girl’s car.”
When Bonnie came out to me and the car the Heather was there with friends. Bonnie had given me a hug and congratulated me on the new car. “Miss Kelley, she can’t be your boyfriend can she?”
Bonnie said, “Not when she’s like this, but my boyfriend’s name is Elliot so go figure.” Bonnie trusted Heather and leaned down whispering to her. “I very much like this side of Elliot; should I marry her or not?”
Heather’s eyes lit up, “You asked Stephanie and Rose to be your flower girl; do you think I could be one for Elle?”
Bonnie looked to me before saying, “That would be her decision if she dresses as Elle.”
Heather looked like an anxious kitten wanting to be chosen. I knelt down and with my hands extended to take hold of her hands, I said, “Heather I would need to talk to your parents, to see if it would be alright with them.”
Instead of taking my hands, Heather jumped into my arms and hugged my neck. “My Mommy won’t mind. She’d much rather you be a girl than a boy. We’ve seen Elliot, he’s not as happy as you are.”
Bonnie murmurs, “Isn’t that an interesting perception on her part.”
Come May we set the last Saturday of August for our wedding date.
It was early April when Ms. Jennifer Atwood told me of Dort my fourth client after the Lourdes and Mrs. Connelly of Springfield Illinois. She was the owner of a family business of engineers and bridge construction.
Dort W… was the spouse of a major league pitcher who had done well. He was still a major league pitcher but now recuperating from injuries. They had decided to invest through her as a way to keep them both important in the eyes of others. She was wanting to invest as much as twenty-five million but not sure how she wanted to invest it. It was partly for retirement and part in support of isolating their charitable trust from problems.
Today was our first meeting and I drove down to them, I was wearing a stylish pantsuit with three-inch mule heels. I’d get to see a major league ball game and sit with the family. Though he’s on the disabled list he’d be sitting in the dugout.
I was impressed that a professional athlete and his wife were so caring. He’s an exceptional player when he’s healthy and has been properly rewarded with good sports contracts. Even beyond sharing their wealth, they have visited hospitals, been hands-on in activities helping people in need. I had arrived a day early and watched from a distance as they visited and listened to the man they helped.
Watching from a distance I was able to watch a number of people after the couple or individual had met with them. The people were noticeably uplifted by the visit. The help given was more than what I call a guilt offering by many others.
Before I had left our offices, I learned of a start-up company that was paused to bring on a new product. It is due to put Optic Tech on the map in the business world. It is presently, to be traded on NASDAQ at $12.00 per share. I suggest they consider buying 250,000 shares at its opening and consider investing another two million dollars if and when it quickly hits twenty dollars per share. Dot was interested in the benefit of the product as much as the projected soundness of the corporation and its stock. Much of their money is fairly well invested how they like. I was able to show some better accounting and sheltering their investments. A.W. seemed impressed, but they’d have my work checked for its accuracy and soundness.
It was an anxious time walking away, hoping they wouldn’t make the moves apart from me. While it would seem out of character with them, where money is involved anything can and often does happen. It was Wednesday and either they are ready to invest they're first three million or to head back to the office. The news came early for me to get to them early at the Bank they would work through.
A new part of my recommendation was to sell half of their holdings if the price quickly hit $35/share. It would be my first major purchase and turn around. It would return six million dollars while another six million would continue their investment in the company.
I had communicated to Marjorie Lourdes a smaller investment, but she was poised to invest twice my recommendation to her. She continued to be ready to do more than my anticipation. I had visited with Associate Katherine Bode and learned it was Ms. Lourdes decisions to be in control. With my recommendation, she also poised herself to invest more at $17.50 per share. Sophia’s Earth Oils would make a modest investment at twelve and then again at fifteen dollars per share. It was a gamble, but they also planned a short turn around. If it worked it would provide them with important investment capital. If not they were fairly secure in being able to recover their investment with a modest fifteen percent gain.
By noon on its opening Optic Tech was already up to $18. Come the close on Friday it was over $25. Within a month it was at $43.34 and more importantly, their product sales were doing well and product reviews were very favorable.
Jennifer Atwood and Katherine told me, “The good results of your recommendation helps a lot in you being accepted as Elle.” Jennifer, Katherine nor I were happy with the truth of that, but it was the case pure and simple.
I as Elle communicated with Mrs. Connelly on the way driving back from St. Louis. Though her investments were different, she was very pleased with what Elliot had done for her. She had heard of Elliot’s other identity and she encouraged Elle to stop by. Elle found the office and stopped in. Sharon Connelly was amused when she heard it was Elle because her youngest son had taken an interest in her. Sharon suggested Greg take Elle out for a dessert.
Greg was nice and when Sharon shared more about Elle; he was insistent that Elle and Elliot couldn’t be the same person. Greg did say it was unfair that Elliot wouldn’t help him with investments. Elle replied, “If you were ready to invest at least $28,000 so we can purchase a hundred shares or more, I have a golden opportunity for you. And it would be a Lioness that does the initial purchase for you.”
Sharon was happy to hear later that Elle was now engaged. Sharon had a daughter and a daughter-in-law that planned to celebrate with Elle the next time she came. Preferably with Elle’s future bride. Sharon and her family delighted in being more open, and different than many of those around them.
The trend was already in on Optic Tech, Inc.; Diane Ingles and I were the two Associates that had customers ready to invest on the stock from its inception. Our investors were in place to become major holders of Optic Tech Corporation and future members of their board of directors if they desired. Both Sophia Lourdes and Dot are interested since Optic’s product had several benevolent applications in helping people; they would both step forward wanting to be on its corporate board.
Diane rightfully was being recognized for her work as a senior associate. Elliot’s presence was seen as a refreshing presence. And while it was Elliot throughout that week at work; half the time at home was Elle. Bonnie was taking time in helping Elle to better present her feminine presence. Saturday, Bonnie and Elle went looking at wedding dresses for Bonnie. Cynthia Kelley, Bonnie’s sister-in-law had come to town to go with them. Where Elle was learning what to look for; Cyndi was already style and quality conscious. She was helpful and delighted in teasing Bonnie and Elle.
Cyndi now twenty-three was only a year away from her own wedding and had fun in being there for a number of her friends and family at their weddings. The following day they would be going to a bridal forum and be immersed in all the fashion clothing a wedding and honeymoon could adore and appreciate.
Sunday, helped by Bonnie in getting ready for the bridal forum Elle was repeatedly embarrassed as people tried to talk her into wedding gowns and lingerie thinking she was the bride. Though it was true that she too was to be a bride, today was Bonnie’s day. Bonnie on more than one occasion enjoyed agreeing with others that Elle should try on skimpy pieces of lingerie. Finally, Elle was pressured to try one on and Bonnie was allowed in to see her. Bonnie brought it to Elle’s embarrassment and joy.
Bonnie fell in love with two contrasting wedding gowns. Both had plenty of satin and silk. One was a slender silk gown with lace and embroidered scrolling around the upper portion and with a cape and hood in place of the traditional train. The other wedding gown was a fuller dress, with plenty of lace and tooling. Both are beautiful gowns and deserves more time than the day afforded.
Elle was excited for Bonnie but also filled with visions that would fill her sleep tonight. Elliot had mixed feelings about losing himself while dreaming as Elle.
On Tuesday an item was sent to Elle at work. Elle’s associates were gleeful when they talked her to open it at a luncheon with three associates at an upscale restaurant.
Wednesday, Elle went to an afternoon appointment with her new doctors Dr. Deborah Howards, her women’s doctor and was referred to Dr. Bradford Stilles as her Endocrinologist. The appointment with her gynecologist came with an unusual request for a semen sample. Despite her being embarrassed she knew it was an important request. The future of children beyond Bonnie giving birth to their first child depended upon it.
A time some three years in the future of their marriage; Elliot was fully to become Elle Marie Sanders Kelley. The understanding Bonnie and Elle/Elliot had was that they would wait for Bonnie to give birth to their first child before Elle begins her transition. They hoped that was within three years of their wedding. That can be pushed up with an earlier birth of their child or be delayed if it takes longer for Bonnie to become conceive and give birth to their first child.
Two months had passed and the wedding was now set for early fall.
Elle had a call from Veronica Hampton the LIFe partner running the New York City office and that she needed to come back to New York City to meet with a new investor, Lauren Janz. She’s a relatively young millionaire who has become an expert in brokering foreign trade. Elle was recommended to Lauren by Sophia Lourdes.
Barb Dirks had found a good home in NYC and was quite busy as was Jessica Carvell. They’re okay with Elle possibly getting a second client in the city. Lauren Janz a relatively young at thirty-four and yet considered an expert and veteran in what she does. She speaks fluent German and Arabic with a good understanding of Russian, Nyanja Kiswahili, Spanish and French. She has a good reputation as well as being tough in gaining respect and action at both air and seaports.
Elle was recommended by Sophia to Lauren Janz. Lauren was interested in adding to her wealth as well as securing benevolent funds focusing on half a dozen, lesser-known African countries. Born in the states she has extended family in Germany, England, and France. She was born to a well to do family but wanted to make her own mark.
The Midwest-born Elle saw herself as a strange compliment to Lauren. Sophia had called and told Elle, “Do not to become intimidated by Lauren. Remember she asked for your help. She’ll like how you listen, learning about your clients.”
“She knows who you are; you don’t need to inform her about the nature of your being a woman. She finds it easier to communicate and trust women. She’s open-minded and accepting, but might not be as interested in hearing about you, unless you two become friends along with your working relationship. I think you will become friends but that will happen in her time.”
=^_^=
Lauren and I met over lunch in a restaurant in Brooklyn. The first part was an enjoyable conversation along with a light lunch. Lauren changed our conversation, “Despite the slow economy, I’ve been told my investments should be secure and growing at a rate over 2.35 percent. Very important to me is sustaining programs and ministries in some of the lesser known countries of Africa like Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe. They have created programs for children and non-government health programs. I will want you to go with me or meet me there sometime in the near future.”
“My financial well-being is important to me along with funding my philanthropic nature. I like that you’re young enough that hopefully, we’ll have years as a client and a financial investor. LIFe is by its nature my kind of company.
“I’ll need to know,” I said, “what you’ve been invested in over the past year. It would be helpful to know a longer history.”
Lauren said, “I have old statements. But Mr. Hannon doesn’t like people questioning his work. It would be a ticklish thing to request him to share with you more financial statements than that.” I was surprised he had gotten away with that with Lauren being a strong individual in many aspects.
I said, “It is a sensitive issue, but from what you are saying it is you not him who is at risk. Unless you’ve decided to take a more conservative approach, thinking you’re minimizing loss of assets… Your friends are right that you should be seeking help and getting a better return.”
We ended our luncheon meeting, agreeing to get back together in two days. I had enough information to get started. She’d get more of her information and decide some things about what she wanted.
I alerted Veronica as well as Jennifer Atwood that her present investor might quickly become adversarial to us. I was smelling the possibility of something foul going on. My Aunt Jennifer strongly suggested that I be quick in taking control for Lauren of her investments. After that Lauren’s lawyers can determine what problems and discrepancies have taken place. Jennifer was more certain from her experience and quick figuring. It was not a question if but what has happened.
I already had called into Sophia and Marjorie Lourdes, about seeing them tomorrow or later in the week. When I got out of my meeting both responded encouraging me to come out yet this evening if possible. Tuesday would be Marjorie’s regular day off and this Tuesday would be at the Golden Goddess Health Spa. With Elliot junior hidden away, it would be a fun time. There was, however, one surprise…
Story to be continued…
8 - Elle Comes to Life
He’d been an ordinary research and finance person…
He’s the first male Associate… And things are now different.
=^_^=
Lauren Janz said, “I like that you’re young, hopefully we’ll have years: with you as my financial manager. I’m hoping you will earn my trust and in time become an invaluable friend.”
While Mr. Hannon, her previous account manager, was despicable, he was shrewd in his dealings and made numerous moves in covering his tracks. If he had gotten help in covering his tracks, he might have actually gotten away with it. Poor Mr. Hannon, if he wasn’t so easily distracted by a woman in a skirt he might have gotten away with what he did.
Elle with Bonnie’s help took time not only tracking what he had done but also how he operated. Bonnie and I posed as two women seeking help to hide accounts we were trying to take away from a fictional wealthy lady. The FBI at Aunt Jennifer’s request helped us to set up a dummy account operation. They had expected Martin Hannon of illegal transactions and had others they were investigating were using similar systems. If we could crack how he was doing it, they could probably bring a few others down with him.
Helping Lauren to regain a major portion of what should have coming back to her and soon having it back under her control proved most gratifying. Though at times it was frustrating and tedious going through the legal system. The FBI was finally restrained by law from doing some things in trying to catch him and accomplice Marguerite Upson. Bonnie faked going behind my back trying to make a deal with them leaving me as their scapegoat. Supposedly I had left them for a must luncheon and would be back in two hours. The deal involved ten million American stocks and money going to offshore accounts.
They had to move their transactions quickly in a one and a half hour window. While they got word I was back in the building and coming up the elevator. They didn’t know the FBI had entered the building over half an hour before. The FBI stationed to receive anyone coming out the front or leaving through a private elevator or stairway. We had a portfolio of a bogus offering of legitimate stocks and treasury notes. Bonnie and Hannon were to leave out the back and Mrs. Upson was to send me on a wild goose chase to a cargo ship. Tracking one investment I informed the FBI that Hannon, Upson, and Associates had just made an illegal transaction and that the devices making and recording their actions were not with them but in their seventh-floor Brooklyn office.
The FBI couldn’t be party to what we had done, but they had the contacts and power to get the authority to confiscate Hannon and Upson’s business property. The FBI had done of what we could not. They had shut-down the power to Hannon’s offices and used their own devices to block the destructions of records.
Hannon was small fish to the FBI; they had room to work with them if their operation led to others. It took months but it led to charges against three larger operations each responsible for hundreds of millions.
While the idea of playing cops and robbers was amusing; it was also frightening when I heard about two of the groups they came down on. Several people ended up dead or missing.
Ninety percent of Lauren’s investments had been recovered two months before the bigger indictments came down. Hannon and Upson were rightfully scared and under protection but not out from under all charges.
Bonnie and I were back into New York City for Thanksgiving, guests of Lauren’s. We got to go with Lauren to a fundraiser for her international projects. I was soon to make my first information and fun trip with Lauren to Africa.
I was amazed by how this young beautiful woman could do her international trade work as well as run her benevolent international programs. While she was not bound to any religious group in the United States, Europe or elsewhere. She did make use of ministry groups that she worked with those compassionately serving people in need.
Once in Africa Lauren had me in long skirts, long sleeves and hats or scarfs where she deemed appropriate. Otherwise, she had me dress down in shorts, hiking boots, and open tops when possible. Other times dressed up as we met and partied with national or global dignitaries.
Many of the people we worked with were nationals of that country, and they spoke well and for the most part, educated. It was the people they were working to help; the sick, poor, orphaned and widowed in some of the poorest of the poor countries of the African continent that received the bulk of Lauren’s attention.
I was seldom hassled or inconveniently held up going through customs, but it was awkward and uncomfortable when it happened. Lauren, being a woman in charge riled some and others had strong beliefs; Lauren’s record in helping people and the benefit of our being someplace won out all but once.
Lauren could not help but laugh at times when we would encounter wild animals. She commented, once when a lioness was sniffing me. Its head shook and she turned in bewilderment and then returned curiously needing to be satisfied I was safe. “Elle you have her bewildered because in every way except part of your smell presents you as a woman.” Once the lioness befriended me, we were friends the nudge of her head knocked me close to her two cubs. Usually, my being close to her cubs would be seen as dangerous, but now down on the ground, the cubs came to me playfully.
Two different nights when I shared a suite with Lauren, she unashamedly became cozy with me. Lauren said, “Elle, I want you to relax and get in touch with who you are. I have my own love that is not my interest. It’s the girl in you, she’s already you, but you’re too afraid. You feel a small part of who you are. You are like the tip of an iceberg, I’m going to help you experience what’s deeper down.”
There it was the feelings of a young woman’s body coming to life as Lauren played the strings like I’m a tightly strung violin. My breast forms were off and the bliss had begun. My inhibitions were down and Lauren took her time in bringing me to a full orgasm. It was more than anything Elliot had ever experienced. Elle tried to kiss Lauren to love her back. Lauren’s joy. however was bringing Elle forward to enjoy her own life. It was a journey on a river of color, feelings and, lights.
The next day we traveled through one of the poorer communities; this time their delight became a point of love welling up inside of us. It was a love that defied my traditional definitions. It was not that of Elle feeling the wellspring of sensual love, but Elle/Elliot tapping their caring nature, a love for others and gave it a voice to a joy deep inside. Moans of compassion and caring feelings often going beyond regular expressions.
Lauren didn’t lavish the people with things, but she had brought some people back to their people. Two women were teachers, who would teach with others in the community. Two were medically trained for minor surgeries and to treat the many medical ailments the people encountered. Two others were nurses, one was trained also as a medical technician. With medicine and medical supplies from their national health ministry as well as what Lauren had sent to them. They would establish a medical clinic that would serve people in a thirty-kilometer diameter of it. Doctors without Borders would send medical teams once or twice a year to help the clinic to get well established.
Lauren and Elle use much of those days to learn from watching, listening and working alongside the people. The last three days in this area became more special with each passing day. The people there were treating me with much of the same joyful spirit with which they engulfed Lauren. The people were not backward people in these smaller communities. Education had long been denied women, but they had not remained ignorant. When education and health care became possible because of Lauren. It was warmly received. It was an extension of the yearning these people had to be better.
Lauren all the while loved seeing me blossom. My senses were on overload I would often end the day giving massages and comfort to Lauren. More than once Lauren turned things around. Lauren liked keeping me in touch with the feelings and sensations that were coming to life inside of me. She even helped me as Elle to understand it was not gendered exclusive. She knew Elliot was growing as there was no disconnect between the two personas.
Once we landed back in New York, Bonnie called me. “Lauren says the soul of Elle has taken flight.” Bonnie said, “We’re both happy for you. She wanted to fly me to meet you. But I was enjoying my students with teaching responsibilities here. I am anxious to have time alone with you when you’re here.”
I had been missing Bonnie and was now uncomfortable having waited to solidify our relationship. I had made large leaps in maturing as a woman, a person. My nipples were beyond budding. There was the soft tissue growing around them beginning to form my breasts.
Over a bottle of cheese and wine Bonnie told about a time when the tingling she felt as a young teen had begun. “If you’re like me you want to shout how glorious it is. The women around me then talked to me saying, ‘It’s no big deal.’ I thought they must have become senile if they forgot how special it was.” She says, “I remember and if you want I’m willing to help those little girls cause you to sing.”
The year before we had delayed our wedding, waiting for the right time. I now knew it was time to get married. Which meant we needed to look for a dress. Bonnie’s would be the traditional wedding gown of silk, lace, and tooling that she wanted. Now she yearned for her gown to be even better than already planned. We hired a seamstress to make a new gown to Bonnie’s liking. I loved what she was wanting and knew it would be far more beautiful on her than the original bridal gown. Neither of us was used to the money I had begun to make. We didn’t want to wildly spend it, but we did decide to use it to enhance our wedding bliss.
Bonnie insisted since I was living more time as Elle that I should be Elle for the wedding. There was no argument from me. We found a long slender gown with a delicate lacy vest. The gown would have a long slit up the left side that could be buttoned down for a formal look during the wedding ceremony. It would be open to just below the knee for our wedding. During the wedding reception, especially for dancing, it would be open half way up my thigh.
Where the Groom usually walks out on this own, I was now asking my mother if she would escort me down the aisle at the beginning of the professional. My father had left us when I was about ten. While he recently had come back into our lives; there was no way he would be at my wedding.
Jonathan Harvey my closest male friend would be my Best Man. Mark Stille and Brad Humphrey from high school were to be my groomsmen. My sister Lindsey wanted to sit with our mother, so Bonnie chose my niece Lexi Shurber to be in her bridal party from my side of the family.
Since Bonnie was having her sister as her Maid of Honor and three bridesmaids. She wanted me to have another groomsman. I, however, wanted a woman who could be in with me as I got ready for the wedding. Ultimately when Sophia Lourdes offered her help to Bonnie, she became my other groom person. She proved to be very helpful as the men and I were not comfortable dressing together. There had been at least six times Sophia and I had been to their health spa. We by now were very comfortable around each other.
I had Heather student a former Bonnie’s who would be my ring bearing flower girl. Bonnie already agreed for two other students Stephanie and Rose, to be her flower girls.
It was now spring and our wedding was to be the last Saturday of June. Stephanie, Rose, and Heather. The Parish of St. Brigid was chosen for our wedding. It was somewhat of an embarrassment to the diocese, named for a strong Irish woman and saint in the early church. The Priests of St. Brigid Parish were not directly answerable to the Bishop, but their community based back in Ireland.
Elle’s acceptance there was not a problem there though it would be at many churches. The Priest also welcomed the participation of Pastor Constance and my presenting myself as Elle.
Now having nine clients of my own along with my regular work as a Lioness Associate; it was not a good time to take two weeks off. I was indeed very busy and Jennifer was saying I was needed. However, she approved my two weeks for the wedding and honeymoon as well as the week before.
Aunt Jennifer had sat me down for a good face to face time together. “The next part of your life will be very important. It will direct how you handle balancing work and family life. You have been steaming ahead like a man. When you’re back after your honeymoon; I hope you think more like a Lioness Associate. You see the others busy at work. We have a great professional team. But they have learned how to balance their lives.”
“Your mother and sister can help you as well. I know they have tried talking to you, they’re family and they love you. You are using more emotions and energy than you’ve been used to. Who you takes a lot of good emotional and mental energy, please learn how to live within yourself.”
I asked, “Aunt Jennifer did you expect me to become a woman when you promoted me as an Associate?”
She said, “No. I did expect you to find some way to succeed with the Lourdes. I also saw a possibility of you becoming so frustrated that you might have decided to quit and move on with your life.”
“It was only after I talked with Marjorie Lourdes that I began to see there was more to you than I knew. The possibility of you seeing yourself as a woman had escaped me. I am glad you made it over a year as an Associate, still being Elliot. You are now a treasured part of the Lioness family.”
Come the rehearsal dinner Sofia Lourdes gave a toast, “To the Best Man and the Groomsmen: May the estrogen that fills the room move each of you to get in touch with your feminine side. And may all of us be willing after the wedding to help you! …Now to the wedding couple: May you be blessed with a beautiful wedding tomorrow. We, your friends, wish you all the best.”
Little Heather asked her mother, “What did she mean by an estrogen filled room? Is there a gas we’re breathing?”
Her mother who had giggled before said, “No, she was just being funny for the adults. Maybe when you’re ready to get married I can explain it to you.”
To be continued…
9 – Elle: Wedding, Bride, Mother
He became the first male Associate… Things are forever different.
Doing so, colors of pink, red and so much more were infused…

The morning of the wedding, I made my way to my salon, while Bonnie and her bridal party were going to her salon. I kind of knew my niece’s feelings as she looked forward to all the pampering they would get. I was having those feelings for myself.
Heather, my flower girl, and her mother would be here an hour after me. I was surprised, however seeing Sophia Lourdes already there to greet me. She said, “If you had a Maid of Honor, she would have been here.” My Mom and sister Lindsey came by the time my hair was being rinsed out the first time before the conditioner was being ravishingly applied. My hair having over a year of being better treated, was luxurious in comparison to what it had been. I had been looking forward to my wedding day and the many things I would enjoy.
My mind had a contrasting reality video playing in my head all through the day. That of Elliot getting married. I thought my wedding would a beautiful, but a beautiful wedding for a man is not quite the same. I was thankful for the guys who have long been part of my life to be at my wedding party. I as Elle and my beautician enjoyed Sophia being close at hand. I am like a little girl when the beautician sets to trimming and starts using rollers and pins to help set the curls and waves. She highlighted and added numerous curls before I was sent sitting under the dryer. I am given a mint julip to enjoy and help keep me cool.
Once my hair is dry and the pins and curlers are coming out. Some shimmering ribbon is enfolded amongst the curls and highlights.
Heather was commenting on me looking like 'Bonnie’s Princess'. She said, “Aunt Elle, did you ever think how funny it is that you were Elliot. I am happy that I am your flower girl; I wouldn’t have been for Elliot.”
Her mother commented, “It pleases me to see you being such an attractive woman. I was not sure I wanted my daughter in your part of the wedding party. I now thank you for inviting her. This has become a good learning experience for her and our family. I know Heather is all gooey inside and will treasure today for years to come. She loves Bonnie as her teacher and now loves both of you.”
I’m getting into my corset so I can put on my stockings and attach them to my garter belt. I first peed hoping it might be the last time until after the wedding. The silk panty going up my legs was a prelude to the amazing feeling of the silk stockings. Lindsey insisted on helping me with the stockings as the corset made that all but impossible to do alone.
Between the extent to which my breasts had grown and with the push-ups properly placed, I have ample cleavage. When I said that Lindsey told me, “Don’t be going into detail with your flower girl in the room.”
I turned and there smiling at me was Heather. She said, “Don’t worry I have an older sister; she and her friends talk about their boobs all the time. They stand in front of a mirror and gaze at them talking a thousand descriptive words a minute. Mommy said you’re dressed enough now that I can be in here if I behave. Don’t worry I won’t say anything. I already saw you as Miss Bonnie’s girlfriend.”
Small sandwiches were provided along with small cups of Sprite. Everyone had taken a break and we enjoyed talking among ourselves. Lindsey was taking pictures throughout the day. My mom checked my dress and hair a thousand times and warned me against getting a run in my stockings.
Sophia Lourdes helping me to dress says, “You are a happy Bride that makes you even more beautiful.” She offers me her arm and we walk around the room talking. Sophia is wearing a cream-colored dress that matches the groomsmen’s tuxes. While she looks eloquent in her gown; it is very attractive in its simplicity and does not take notice away from Bonnie or me, but it does rival the bridesmaids.
My dad did show up and Aunt Jennifer encouraged me to let him sit next to her. Mom and I both insisted no girlfriend was to sit with them nor come to the reception. I knew dad was not presently married and whether there was someone in his life didn’t concern me.
Sophie, Heather, and I receive Jonathan, Mark, and Brad into our waiting area; we are less than an hour away from the beginning of the wedding. Jon is the first to say, “Elliot girl, you’re looking good. I’m still unsure if I’m to call you a Bride or Groom.”
Jon is asked by Brad and Sophia if he knew about this side of Elliot in college. “There were two times he was pressured by some coeds; one was at Halloween and another was at a sorority’s Mardi gras celebration. There was another time after the sorority’s gather that I thought I caught him dressed differently. When I looked to find him, I couldn’t find him nor the person I saw.”
Brad asked, “Elliot, you dressed as a girl once for a Halloween party and a play. Confess was that you the time Jon thought he saw you.”
Elle said, “Yes, but I didn’t dare let him know. He would have wondered if I was gay and I wasn’t. I saw it as something fun but not serious.”
Sophia says, “Elle, I heard it was Bonnie who encouraged you to dare and try it if you wanted; when you first came to meet with us.”
I said, “Bonnie, my sister, and Lexi helped me pack some things. I was so nervous but she made it all possible with her encouragement. When I got where I was to meet Sophia’s mother. Dressed as I was, I was going to back out. I couldn’t believe the idea when Ty, the Director of the Golden Goddess Spa, said she could transform me. That I could spend the day with the Lourdes excited me more than scared me. Ty had everything, I mean everything needed to change me royally. Then it was like Elle blended in and was meant to be there.”
My eyes began to tear, and Sophia quickly stopped us. Heather said, “Was it then when you first thought it was Elle who might marry our teacher, Miss Bonita? Bonnie had two of Heather's classmates for her flower girls. That’s when I asked to be Elle’s. Elle’s a lot more attractive woman now. I don’t think you should call her a groom. She’s Miss Kelley’s Bride.”
The Priest and Pastor checked on us, and Lindsey brought around our flowers. I had both a corsage and a bouquet. Heather had a few flower petals to spread before me and Bonnie’s flower girls had many more.
My party started up front and I came down escorted by my Mother with Heather spreading her flowers before me. It was the first time some distant relatives and friends saw me as Elle. I felt good with all the smiles making an ‘Oh’ with their mouths. I chose not to have a veil.
After everyone else processed down, there was no doubt in my mind that Bonita was the most beautiful bride I had ever seen. I was more than happy dressed as Elle. Bonnie had a tearjerker of a surprise more me. I knew she had a beautiful voice. All I knew there was to be a song when Bonnie took a microphone and sang, “You Are so Beautiful to Me.” Again as we lit a unity candle, Bonnie began to sing, “Thank you Lord for blessing our souls, thank you Lord for making us whole. You are the third strand that gives our lives: this light, the warmth, and the meaning we need. A..ah men.” Something moved me to sign our marriage certificate as Elle Kelley.
The kiss was bliss, I don’t remember much of the rest of the wedding. Before we welcomed at the back of the sanctuary anyone else our tear glazed eyes found the way to kiss. I was speechless for all that Bonnie did, especially her singing. The wedding had barely begun and it was over everything other than the songs seemed to go so fast.
The reception hall was beautifully decorated; Bonnie and I each had chosen some of the decorations. The Lourdes helped Kelley’s to host a beautiful reception.
Jon’s wife Margo had thought ahead; between the wedding and reception, she helped Jon to change into a halter dress supposedly hers. It was a pretty pink dress with a chiffon skirt and in no way petite enough to be Margo’s. Yet somehow come his wedding toast it went well with him being my Best Man.
Jon thanked Sophia for the excuse for Jon to do femme.
My niece Lexi had talked a thin boy attending the wedding into a pair of girl’s designer jeans. It was Dana’s, an Associate’s son, Brian. Initially, he resisted, but once four pretty girls were helping him, he enjoyed the attention as well as being in girl mode the rest of the evening. Sometime that evening he changed into a printed skater’s dress saying it felt better.
During the evening there was little to less of Elliot and mostly Elle. Bonnie and I agreed that the perfume helped the pheromones to dominate my persona as the evening wore on. It was nearly 1:00 a.m. when we left the reception and made our way to our beautiful wedding suite. We’re to be here tonight and tomorrow before flying out to St. Lucia early Monday morning.
Bonnie beginning with our wedding and with the progression of the reception was blossoming in her spirit. She had asked me, “Would you be open to signing our wedding certificate as Elle Jennifer Kelley.” She was delighting having me in her, and we agreed she was to have ours. “Honey, I hope you don’t mind me seeing you more and more like my wife and a second mother to our children?”
We had talked about it when she had three of her eggs harvested months before along with some of my sperm frozen as well. It was her desire for her to carry the first two children and then me to transition. “I’d love you to carry our third child if you can and would want.”
Seven years passed quickly, but not without some concern. Our lovemaking had no problems in impregnating Bonnie with our first daughter Lindsey Renee Kelley. Stephen Ryan Kelley, however, took a long time and the added effort of using my frozen sperm.
We knew that eventually, my hormone therapy would make me as Elliot sterile. We had not anticipated it happening as soon as it had happened. I’ve fully transitioned and been living for a year and a half with my maturing body. It was Bonnie’s last impregnated egg and Bonnie with the guidance of Dr. Faith Morgan that I am finally pregnant.
Fortunately, when my morning sickness came it lasted a few hours a day. And not quite six weeks in its duration. One of the benefits of carrying our second daughter is that my breasts have grown. Between carrying our daughter and the development of my breasts I’ve also developed pain in my back. Numerous women found delight in saying, “Welcome to our club.”
Our plan was for our daughter to be born two weeks early by caesarian birth is superseded by contractions beginning in the middle of the night three days earlier than that. Fortunately at five pounds nine ounces the tare I experience while excruciatingly painful; was quickly replaced by the euphoria of giving birth to Cynthia Sanders Kelley.
Born early October 4, Cynthia nursed from me yet that day and would nurse twice more there before we went home the following morning. My mom, one of Cyndi’s grandmothers, is joyful with us. It allowed for an even deeper bond growing with me and our children.
It would be at a Halloween party at work that I wrapped her up as a little pumpkin to show her off to the other Associates and staff at Lioness Investments. We would do the same for Bonnie at school but the flu bug had already beat us to the school. Stephen’s dressed as a horse-boy as he says, “I like riding horses not cows!” He had ridden two ponies this past summer.
Jamie’s Erin asks Stephen, “Wouldn’t you like to be like your mommy?” Erin’s thirteen and knows I use to be Elliot. She wasn’t, however, ready for Stephen’s answer.
“I am like my Mommy. She likes riding a horse too, the only difference is she’s a big girl! Both my Mommies like wearing jeans when they ride horses.”
One of Bonnie's and my biggest desires is that our children didn’t feel pressured one way or another concerning their gender identity. I enjoy watching Stephen running around. He is not very big but he likes jumping around, especially into the arms of Erin and the other girls who are present. Mick James has even taken a liking to carry our Cyndi, but I suspect he’s using her to attract Erin and other girls to like him.
Erin has taken a styling brush to Mick’s hair. He came in wearing a Yankee baseball cap, but Erin soon had a ponytail coming out the back of the baseball cap. “Now that’s fitting for dreaming right.”
I am taking three months of maternity leave and another three months of working thirty hours per week. Hopefully then Bonnie and I can decide if I want to continue working or stop for now. I'm more surprised than Bonnie how I have taken to being a mother of our three children.
