Morgan 2

My muse has been kind. More of Morgan's first day in High School.

The rest of the day I got more odd looks and the occasional question from other kids. Obviously word was spreading.

It was mostly girls with the questions. And I was indeed getting tired of the same ones over and over.

The looks seemed fairly evenly split between guys and gals, though more of the guys tended to have the looks that implied trouble in the future.

A few of the girls seemed to figure I was ok, in spite of my oddity. At least they were willing to talk to me in spite of it. One was in several of my classes. Christine (call me Chris) Watt. We'd gotten to talking in the first one we shared and had compared schedules.

She came up to me in the hall as we approached English class (which I knew we shared).

"So, I hear you're a guy?"

Crown or Tiara Chapter 1

Once upon a time, there was a city. And in that city lived the happiest people, ruled by the wisest king. The people was governed fairly and the city was protected on all sides by great, tall walls and a legion of loyal soldiers.

“So no Tracy?” Shelly asked.

“No, and I told her it'd be okay.” Maggie sighed.

“It that why he was so glum?” Shelly glanced to the door, making sure it was still shut.

Maggie nodded. “Tracy was so lively on the way down here. I think she talked from home to Tracy, the town, where she changed. Once she changed, Troy was miserable.” She shook her head. “Maybe I shouldn't have let her be Tracy for the ride.”

For My Princess: Part 6

Book cover image

Arabella had overcome many of the challenges she had faced and life was settling into a routine. Then Helene's grandmother came to visit and shook things up.

The countess and Helene walked hand in hand, at the princess's behest Arabella followed behind her, as did the entourage carrying the countess's trunk which they deposited in her chamber before departing.

She stared at Arabella who was unsure of what she should do.

"I have dismissed everyone, please leave us and go about your business."

Helene giggled. "Arabella is not a servant, she is my best friend."

"Then she is fortunate to have you, dismiss her so that we might talk alone."

I have been releasing this story in roughly 2000 word chunks. Whilst this has done wonders for my kudos (750 in two weeks compared to 4000 over one year), I wonder if it is affecting how much people are enjoying the story. There are times when 2k words isn't enough for any significant developments and I'm wondering if this may be why the readership is dropping off.

While I appreciate the final decision is mine, I am a fan of the democratic process (despite its flaws) so would like to invite you as readers to vote on the size of postings. Choices are leave it at 2k, increase to 4k or increase to 8k. Bear in mind that the regularity of postings will drop off once the story catches up with me in about 50k words.

Please PM me with your vote if you want a say rather than clogging up the comments.

I had enough wit not to leave the real tights and panties lying around and stuffed them into the bottom of a bag before filling it with a selection of books in the hope that at least some of them would be useful. On the way to class, I stopped at the kitchen and downed glasses of water until my distended stomach cried for mercy. I was sure the previous evening had been helpful for a number of reasons, but at that moment my hangover refused to let me figure out exactly what they all were.

Laura

This is a very short story told to the author by a man who liked women --
liked them whether they were real women or transgendered.

Laura by Janet Baker

Jason met Laura that fall evening at a bar noted for its acceptance of unconventional lifestyles. The bar was filled with celebrants, the Twins having finally won a game. Jason scanned the crowd trying to determine whether the colorfully dressed habitués were real women or cross dressers or transsexuals.

Morgan

I took a deep breath before walking into the locker room. I was nervous, but I could do it. I hoped...

I'd actually gotten about a dozen feet inside before the yells started. I ignored them and headed on over to the cage to get a basket.

I'd almost made it when this huge guy blocked my path.

"Aren't you a little confused girlie? This is the boys locker room."

I looked up at him and said "Yeah, I know."

Open Your Heart - Chapter 1

Open Your Heart
by Abigail Drew

Chapter One

“Open your heart!” Rang out from a tenor voice that was well off-key but enthusiastic just as lightning flashed nearby. “Open your heart!” it rang again as the peal of thunder roared loud enough as to, almost, drown out the singers voice. “Open your heart! To eternal dimension!” It sang again, and then grunted as, synchronously, the soft metallic thud of a shovel hitting dirt could be heard. “Open your heart! For love and affection,” the distinctive sound of dirt being thrown into a trash can. “Open your heart! Your every emotion,” and a flash of lightning. “Open your heart! For tears and rejection!” Thunder crashed as the “n” could be heard.

We headed towards the centre of town until we found a bus that would take us back to the campus. We climbed on board in silence and found a seat near the back. I was too stunned to speak, or even to think. I felt trapped - lost and without hope. The threat of tears pricked the backs of my eyes as I felt Jen's hand come to rest on my back.

“We’re not licked yet,” she said. “We'll think of something.”

I don’t think she even managed to convince herself.

A frown appeared on William's face. His voice was a whisper again. “I have been pretty bad to him, Vance too. Hell, I'd be surprised if he doesn't hate me by now.”

“He loves you. He's just afraid that you'd punish him for this.” Maggie said.

“A few months back, before mom called me on it at her place, I would have. But I'm trying to get better.” He squeezed his wife once more. “So, no letting on that I know. I think I can do that.”

As I sat down in my reserved seat, I thought back over the past few weeks. Pretty much all I had that seemed worthwhile were the happy memories of that day shopping with Alice, the evening after and the coral dress folded neatly at the bottom of my bag.

SYNOPSIS

Just who was it who'd suggested the title for the next performance of the amateur dramatic group? Because when the lead actress drops out, it leaves a vacancy for a big-busted woman to prance naked on the stage, which nobody wants to fill. Fortunately, being a lead actress is not all work and no play.

The complete story has been serialised into eight parts which will be published at approximately daily intervals.

“And you're worried that you're doing something that may hurt him later?” Shelly asked.

“Yeah.” Maggie choked on her reply. She wanted to help her son, but this had been a growing fear. She didn't want him being a mental wreck in the future, something he could blame on her.

“I see. Does he do it because he wants to be a girl? Or does he get some form of enjoyment out of the dresses? Maybe sexual pleasure.”

“He's only eleven. He doesn't even know about that yet.” Maggie groaned. “At least I hope he doesn't. I'm not ready for my baby to grow up that soon.”

The display showed Jen’s name and number.

“No Alice,” I said more as a plea than a denial. I made a grab for the phone, but she pulled it out of my reach.

“I guess I’ll just have to send this to all the J’s then.”

“OK it is, but please don’t.”

“Too late,” she said handing the phone back to me. The display read 'sending photo message' for a second then cleared.

I slipped on my pyjamas and admired my newly hairless body dressed in the pale pink satin chemise that my imagination had conjured when Jen described hers earlier. I actually looked and felt quite feminine for a change, and enjoyed the experience of padding about the hall in my nightie and bunny slippers before heading off to bed for an early night.

Recall Revisited

Recall Revisted

By WannabeGinger

I have summoned up courage to go back to the original story, originally published here on Big Closet which was written from the heart with no planning at all. Readers’ comments were helpful all through, so now, I have tried to develop the characters to be the real life people that they are through the events that really took place in the early part of the tale. The fantasy parts which make the second half will be revised and embellished. I hope you like it!

I loved this dress for its simple elegance and the delightfully sensual feel it gave, but I also hated it because it represented the break in my relationship with my parents. Somewhat dejectedly I sat down to some more revision.

Troy grabbed a smaller bag and followed his father out to the car. The Autumn weather made him shiver slightly as he stepped outside. William stopped and put the bags he was carrying in, then took the one Troy had and put it in the back seat. He turned to his son and leaned against the side of the car. “I don't want to repeat your mother, but be good.”

“I will Dad.” Troy said.

“And I want to thank you Troy.” William said.

“For what?” Troy cocked his head to the side.

“You've been nothing but nice to Vance this week while your grandma has him in that dress. I still feel bad for laughing, but I wasn't ready for it.” He bent down and put a hand on his son's shoulder. “Thank you for being the bigger man.”

“Vance, please just go.” Tracy pleaded.

“That's a great idea!” His wicked grin got bigger. “I'll go....and call Bruce and Frankie. They'd love to hear this!”

“Please don't.” She began to make her way down the steps, tears began to race down her cheeks. “Don't tell anyone.”

“Too late for that, Fag. It's all your fault anyway.” Vance turned and ran out of the yard as Tracy made it to the bottom step. She fell to her knees and began crying hard.

When he heard Vance's voice Peter had already been moving to the door, But the older boy was gone by time he got to her side. Modine stepped out and looked around for trouble, concern on her face. “Tracy, what happened.”

“Vance just seen her.” Peter replied, helping Tracy to her feet. “He's going to call his punk friends.”

I made my way down to Jen’s hall of residence, resisting the urge to skip but somehow unaware that I was holding an imaginary clutch purse in front of me. Jen must have seen me coming as she was outside waiting as I approached. She had a quietly triumphant grin on her face and as I walk up to her she fell into step beside me.

“So Richard,” she began, “what are you wearing today?”

Fat Steve (Part 5)

What started out as a light hearted comedy has been turned on it's head as both Eric and the author, Alesha, have spiralled into a dark tale of deception.

Now, as we enter the final instalment of the Fat Steve saga, Erica (previously Eric) finds herself left with an ultimatum:

To become the daughter of a criminal mastermind....

Or death.

Through the years: Troy's Story part 7

Peter could feel that they were uncomfortable, so he began to go to the side of the house, turning his head to talk to them once more as he went. “Well ladies, have a nice.....” His steps stopped and he turned to look at Tracy again. He stood there for a moment, then asked. “Troy? Is that you?”

The young boy didn't reply. Instead, the young girl who was there knew she was caught, so she jumped from the table and flung the backdoor opened, running to the safety of the guest bedroom. Peter stood there for a moment, unsure what to do. Modine and Maggie both stood up, the older woman patting Troy's mother on the arm. “I got her.”

Trick of the Mind
by Maeryn Lamonte

In response to Melanie Ezell's lesser know Other Big Closet Ultimately Forgettable Challenge — The longest and most tedious introduction/disclaimer ever.

Back in the days when I used to teach, there was a two week break where I needed to switch off completely from anything to do with classrooms and books and revolting children (they aren't all revolting you understand, just enough to make your life miserable), so I stayed in bed (yes I know it's disgusting, and at my age too. What kind of example is that for the kids?) and wrote the first 70k words of this before running out of time and imagination.

A while ago, I sent it to Wren Phoenix for editing/proofing, and she's been prodding me regularly since to finish it and post it. It's an early effort so I'm going to read through and rewrite — where necessary — as I post (hopefully every one to two days). When I reach the end of what's written, things may slow down a bit.

As ever, resemblance of characters in the story to people in real life is purely co-incidental as well as extremely unlikely, since the story is set in a parallel universe where everything is pretty much as it is here, except for matters relating to the legal profession and mental health care, and quite possibly the way hypnotism works. Which is another way of saying that I don't know how things work in our world and I'm too lazy and being paid too little to do research, so I made stuff up.

Despite that, I hope you enjoy...

“Good morning to you too, young lady.” Modine replied, not looking up from her paper. “You need help?”

“Joy.” Troy's sarcastic tone wasn't lost on Peter. Together the two boys walked up to the line, waiting to get on to the ride home. Peter moved off and got on his bus, leaving Troy alone with his jerk brother. Steps away from the bus, Troy felt someone shove his side and he fell to the ground.

“Ooooohhhh.” A tall, thin boy sneered down at him. “Did the wittle baby fall?”

Troy scrambled to his feet and glared at his attacker. “Go to hell Vance.” He spat out.

His brother stood half a foot taller, which gave him the ability to loom over the smaller Patterson boy. Vance's arm cocked back as though he were going to throw a punch, making Troy bring up his arms to block. “Fag.” His brother laughed at him before getting on the bus. At the top of the steps he stopped and looked at his brother who was just watching him. “Come on little baby. Maybe we should get you home and change your diapers!” The kids on the bus started to laugh loudly.

A little note.

Please see notes at end

It’s another sad day for the sky is filled with dark clouds.
It’s been like this for many days, and the rain just never seems to go away.
Oh how I wish I could go out and play, but what fun would it be anyway.
I no longer laugh and I can’t smile, why must I live a life of denial.
Ashamed of what others might think, the pills still in my hand ready to swallow.
Some people told me to pray, but why bother, god hates me anyway.
Some wish I was dead, others want me to move ahead.
As the pain becomes too much to bear, I find there is no end to the fear.
