Vivacious Vagaries

LindaTraceyBrandon.jpg

Some like it hot and some like it cold and some, like the proverbial little blond-haired girl, love it just right. Here are some examples of the artist, Louis L’Amour Orles, known for gender-bending oils on canvas. Vagaries lie within the souls of the model and the artist; some a bit confused and some delightfully surprised by the end results. Ranging from just interested to fully committed, the ‘girls’ in the paintings below wend their way along the gender continuum…

Little Known TV Crime Dramas

Little Known TV Crime Dramas

Television Programmes from the United States and the United Kingdom that were destined to be favourites but for that one pesky little detail. TV doesn't always mean television, aye?

In the past fifty or so years, crime drama has been a very popular genre' for television programming. Particular attention should be paid to the sub-genre of transgendered detectives, police officers, Inspectors and generally all-around dicks without dicks. Here are a few shows that gained a modicum of popularity when they first graced the small screen.

Resident Robin

Robin is about to meet up with some undead in this crazy story, Join Robin and the gang from Robinverse as they survive a Zombie Apocalypse!
--SEPARATOR--

Robin woke up in a lab somewhere, on a hospital bed with equipment hooked up to her, it was to quiet but the power was still on it seemed.

“Wh...a...aaa...” she moaned as she tried to sit up, and began clawing at the equipment to get it out of her body as quickly as possible, tearing and rending the tubes and needles, heedless of the extreme pain the process was causing her. The lights in the building flickering off and on, but there seems to be nobody coming to her room to stop her or check up on her.

There something about Maury - the date

What do you mean I HAVE to post more to this?

Ok fine but I better have a break from writing my fingers are getting sore.

I can't believe I am about to do this. Here I am a 22 year old male dressed up in a little black dress that shows off plenty of cleavage and is a touch too short. I am about to go out on a dinner date with a doctor no less, who cannot seem to understand what the word no means at all.

When Nick tries to find a date on the internet he gets more than he bargained for.

Please note that I am writing this as a form of fiction , understand that if some of the things written down here are unrealistic, they are meant to be. Throw away all thoughts of logic because there is no logic to many dating sites, this story will reflect that. Please note that time is illogical on them as well; so too in this story. This is a filler to introduce new characters.

One hundred and eighty-seven dollars. Eight of her bankcards she had already maxed out. Three times Josephine read the statement. One hundred and eighty-seven dollars. That was all the room she had left. And the next day would be Christmas.

There was clearly nothing to do but flop down in front of her 50-inch television set and sniffle. So Josephine did it. Her life also had its share of sobs and smiles, but sniffling she did best.

Sherry had dragged me down to the Workshop. Seems the guy she was so interested in and that she'd told me would be a good addition to our study group was probably down there and had forgotten he was supposed to meet us to study.

Yeah. I was out of school for a few days. Had to go back to Ohio for the trial.

Back before I got into Whateley, and I was still living with the mess back home, I got arrested after someone called the cops when I used the women's restroom at a restaurant.

Another shining example of tolerance and sensibility, that.

Life here at Whateley isn't too bad.

Well, I'm still having to "explain" to folks here in Poe that my sex hasn't actually changed. Regardless of that stupid law back home.

Hi. I'm Jessie Craighead.

I can recall exactly when my life came apart. That bitch, Lenore Schippers, was ticked off that I'd beaten her onto the girl's basketball team. Especially when the coach told her that even if she had been better at the game, she was worried about her being able to maintain her grades

OK, I can understand being upset about that. But she had to drag her father into it. Mr. Schippers was head of the local MCO office and Lenore gave him this sob story about how I had to be a mutant to have beaten her out and have a 3.8 GPA on top of it.

I thought I was embarrassed when I was told I had to be tested for all this stuff. I was wrong. Real embarrassment was when they dragged me out of gym class saying I was a boy!!

It's Still The Arts

Just a bit of fun to take the edge off a really crappy week, yes?

Art from the Pre-Rachaelite Period seemed to mirror the frivolity and painfully carefree attitude of the transgender community of the late nineteenth to early twentieth century... We'll be looking at some examples of those paintings that exemplify that nearly nonchalant mood.

The Lingerie Shop

Once again, for your amusement, the comedic stylings of Roland and Dimaggio. This classic skit is taken from their long-running PBS-BBC joint production, Lost in Transition. Please enjoy and don't forget this week is pledge week. Roland and Dimaggio will be taking your phone calls as they sit for an interview with that internationally known star of stage, screen and television, Miss Susan Heywood.

Who's Sorry Now?

For the first time on DVD...the stylings of Roland and DiMaggio, that beloved comedy team. You may remember them from such movies as "Roland and DiMaggio go to the Specialist," "I've Been a BAAAAAD Trans-girl," "The Kid from Bayonne," and their smash hit, "Road to Thailand." Here is an exerpt of their classic routine, first presented in the movie, "The Girls with Something Extra."
