Fat Steve (Part 1)

Wow. It's been a while since i've written anything for you all.
Ok, without giving too much away about this story; it's got some mafia stuff in, some conspiracy stuff, and a boy on the run. Enjoy!

A little note.

Please see notes at end

It’s another sad day for the sky is filled with dark clouds.
It’s been like this for many days, and the rain just never seems to go away.
Oh how I wish I could go out and play, but what fun would it be anyway.
I no longer laugh and I can’t smile, why must I live a life of denial.
Ashamed of what others might think, the pills still in my hand ready to swallow.
Some people told me to pray, but why bother, god hates me anyway.
Some wish I was dead, others want me to move ahead.
As the pain becomes too much to bear, I find there is no end to the fear.

Part Fourteen

The talks restarted and everyone was telling the settlers what was going to happen, this got me angry how dare they lay down the law to these people.

What infuriated me the most was our forces, they were asked for help which they gave in the so called name of freedom. OK some died and a lot got injured but we shouldn`t be forcing people to do what we want. These people had helped in during WW2 by providing a safe harbour for our ships.

Riding Home 28

CHAPTER 28
Kate was waiting at the station for us, and I was touched by the way Shan hugged her as a greeting. Whatever steps the two women had been taking with Chantelle, they seemed to have done immense good in her life. There would always be a shadow behind her eyes, which was something I myself could never shake, but she had opened out and relaxed immeasurably.

Somewhere Else Entirely -28-

When Garia next goes for training she receives an unexpected reception from the Palace Guard. Having buried the hatchet with Merizel their relationship begins to deepen as Garia introduces some more world-changing technologies.

Okay she might look different somehow but yeah, that was just completely Amy.

“Uhm Yeah…It’s kind of a long story. Are you okay?”

She blinks still staring at my chest. “Yeah…I’m good…” She’s still staring.

“Uhm…Amy, I’m up here.” I can’t believe I actually had to say that.

She yanks her head up and looks at me and gives me this sheepish grin and moves some of her hair out of her face. “Whoa, sorry Dylan, their nice?”

Part one

The dance teacher asked all the girls which of them could do splits comfortably, she was trying to get some sort of show ready for Christmas.

The boys were across the other side of the room and Brian and me were sitting against the wall about half between the two groups.

Me and Brian lived next door to each other and were best of friends, well to tell the truth we didn`t have any other friends.

Through the years: Troy's Story part 3

A smile spread across her lips as she stepped in. “Hello Tracy.” She stopped just in front of the girl and hugged her. “You look beautiful.” She whispered into Tracy's ear.

The girl's face was bright with pride and her smile spread from ear to ear. “Thank you Mama.”

“And so polite too. How did I get so lucky to have a beautiful girl with manners?” She asked, looking over to her mother-in-law.

“Don't ask me. Maybe she's been in there all this time, she just needed the chance to come out.” Modine said as she went to the cupboard and pulled out a loaf of freshly made bread. She waited for Tracy to turn back to her and she cut a slice off of the loaf. She then offered the knife to her. “Here you go young lady. Five more slices, just like the one I did.”
