Make Him Change

by Maria Pasqualina Commentare'

Though the world is so full plenty of things,
I know we should all be as happy as
But are we?
No, absolutely no, definitely no.
Assuredly no. Uh uh.

Nice boys have pretty faces and
Pretty boys have nice faces.
Gorgeous boys have little patience
And patient boys have no problem at all!
And in the words of that immortal Goddess
Rickard Engfors, as she was about to be lead
To the corsetiere’s...

Make him change
Make him change
Don't you know every boy wants to change

(Ha ha!)

As mistress say, "Be a woman, dear lad
Anything else would be rather sad”
He’ll be standing on heels
Fine'ly finding how feminine feels

Help him into corsets and you’ll be quite elite
Help him understand that bein’ a girl is a treat!
Just make him put on pantyhose and
He’ll be kissing your feet
Make him change
Make him change
Make him change

Make him...
Make him change
Every boy needs to gender arrange
As Mistress just say, ‘You need to inhale
So that your corset stay doesn’t impale.’

Make him change
It won’t hurt
Wear a belt
He’ll be svelte
In a skirt

You start him off pretending
He’s a woman with grace
She’ll wriggle in her panties
Giggling all over the place
And then you finish up with Covergirl all over his/her face
Make him change
Make him change
Make him change

Make him change
Make him change
Don't you know every boy wants to change?

(Maniacal laughter)

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ah ha ha ha ha ha
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Make him change ah ah!
Make him change ah ah!
Make him change, ah ah!

Make him change!
Make him change!
Make him change!

Even though this is written very well, you just can't

put a boy in a corset, panties, bra, slip, skirt, nylons and high heels and expect him to be a female. To be a female you have to have discipline, attitude and pride in who you are. Being a woman is a 24/7 way of life without vacations, without coffee breaks. Being a woman in today's world is the hardest life there is. Men have it easier than we do, because they can do more things. But those of us living as female and proud to be female have a difficult task.

People say that women have come out of the kitchen, put their shoes on, and went to work. Now while that is true, there are still single moms who not only work to support herself and her child(ren), but also take care of the house, cook the meals, and do the laundry. So the day of the independent woman is just a myth, because even married women still cook the meals, clean the house, do the laundry and the shopping.

If you feel you need to be female in this world today, remember that being female is a bed of roses, thorns and all, and there will be many of life's pricks from those thorns along the way.

This little story based on the song by Donald O'Connor is really great and funny too. WTG Drea and thank you for sharing.

"With confidence and forbearance, we will have the strength to move forward."

Barbara

"If I have to be this girl in me, Then I have the right to be."

Make 'em Laugh

The song was (not so) loosely adapted from "Be a Clown" sung by Judy Garland and Gene Kelly in "The Pirate" Cole Porter wrote the words and music. It was only in the last year that I found out that they were two different songs. I found out when I was watching the biographical movie about Cole Porter, "De-Lovely" featuring Kevin Kline and Ashley Judd, and then did a little research before writing this note.

Thanks for making me laugh.

...your signature picture looks just like my sister-in-law Janey when she was about 10. Pretty cool, huh?

I see

This is not an actual song from the movie. I was very confused. Even though I haven't seen the movie in years, I couldn't believe I would have missed this. This is a send-up, a parody, so you can't blame Donald O'Connor for this.

All that maniacal laughter

laika's picture

makes this seem kind of chilling. I mean, what about the boy's free will?
Wouldn't it be as wrong to forcably feminize someone as it is to force tg's into
some concept of "normal"? Could the intent here be bitterly ironic? I dunno.
I have a problem recognizing irony sometimes. Like the way I was following
the example of my favorite disco song here until someone pointed out
that maybe it probably isn't really pro-book burning.

.

Smoke is in the air now
It's been spreading just like wild-fire all over town
Everybody wants to get in on the latest thing
Going down to the bookstore - burn that mother down!
Yeah, somebody has to do what's right...
Fahrenheit four fifty-one (burnin' black & white)

Well I got some education
I go down to the library every night
And I'm looking for somebody with a dream like mine
We could share a few pages 'round the fire so bright!
Yeah, somebody has to do what's right...
Fahrenheit four fifty-one (burnin' black & white)

Now it's spreading 'cross the nation
And it's time to seize the moment, that's what they says
'cause it's all been well reported in the daily news,
You can read all about it before it turns to ashes...
